After the deposit was sent, the breeder changed those terms. When I was no longer comfortable proceeding and requested my deposit back, she refused to refund it, which ultimately led me to file a dispute with my credit card. Additionally, there were several inconsistencies and concerns regarding kitten care. Her website states that kittens are kept until 12-14 weeks for their "mental health," yet kittens are actually released at 10 weeks. She also does not perform fecal testing on the kittens or provide microchipping. Given the price being charged, it did not feel like the money was going toward comprehensive health care or best practices for the kittens. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential buyers to be very cautious, get everything in writing, and use your credit card. For anyone looking for an ethical and responsible Ragdoll breeder, I highly recommend Cajun Ragdolls in Houston. I've had an amazing experience with them. Anne is transparent, ethical, and clearly cares about both the health of the kittens and the integrity of the breed.
