They make it so hard to adopt a cat. I sent in an application for a specific cat, super short response saying there's other applicant. Ok i accept but i specifically asked them to give me an update and they have given no response not even an ok. I keep on looking at their sites i see cats getting adopted but no information about the specific cat i want. If he's still on the available to adopted list, that's what i'll think. I gave them another chance i went to their adoption "event" it was more of a glance and go. I barely got to see the cats there were so many worker/volunteers crowding the cats, it's as if they don't even want them to be seen. Like are u trying to get them adopted or not?? It was just a very awkward situation. I personally went thinking I'll atleast get to go nearby to see if i like the cat's personality but no chance. Overall i'm not shopping from them, take ur time somewhere else. read more

Classy Cats is a stellar cat shelter that maintains an immaculate facility with very communicative staff and possibly the cutest and friendliest cats around! Diane is who we communicated with the most (and still do!) My husband and I adopted our Kiko from here and we couldn't be happier with him. He came with all of his vaccinations and a microchip. Classy Cats also put us on to Purina Liveclear, which is an allergy-reducing cat food that is working wonders for my husband's allergies (knowledgeable!) Classy Cats are the best!!!! Their is very clean, cats very well taken care of and the nicest people around. Our 18 year old cat went to Kitty Kat Heaven and we turned to Classy Cats to adopt two sister kittens. OMG!!! I totally forget how active and crazy kittens were. Classy Cats had messaged me a couple of weeks after we adopted and I was beyond stressed out at that point. However, they were so understanding and helpful!!!!! Gave me several suggestions and advice. Now, it's 1.5 years later and I don't know what I do without my kittens that we named Chaos and Turmoil. Since then, we adopted a third kitten named Mayhem. We love our babies so much!!!! Thank you so much Classy Cats for helping these wonder kittens find homes and for being so understanding and helpful to me. Over the years I have adopted 5 fantastic felines from Classy Cats so I speak from a long term relationship with the wonderful volunteers who do the work of saving these cats from certain death. I am so pleased with their work that I now foster kittens and cats for them. All felines are fully vetted, have all vaccinations and are sterilized before adoption to new home. Because these cats are at a private facility or a foster home ClassyCats knows the cats on a purrrrsonal level and is uniquely qualified to match what a person or family wants. She told me and I quote "I'm sorry u can't understand what I'm saying" when she was literally yelling at me. We have adopted two wonderful Classy Cats - we just said goodbye to the second after eleven wonderful years with her, the first is still loving life with our daughter who has now graduated from college. Our second was rescued off the streets as a young cat with a litter. Both cats foster parents took wonderful care of their rescues and they were in good health and quickly accepted their new home and caregivers. The foster parents genuinely love cats and their part in the rescue process. We would HIGHLY recommend Classy Cats for anyone looking for a cat to enrich their homes and lives. read more

We were promised a cat, paid a fee so we could pick them up later in the week with assurance that the cat would still be there and that no, we didn't need to come earlier, she would absolutely still be there. Today we got an email that said they'd given her to someone else. Because supposedly the cat had chosen them. Bullshit. Shouldn't have even been an option. Good rescues will put an adoption pending sign on a cats crate, or do something to make sure guests know the cat is unavailable, and already has an excited family waiting to take it home, and find a different available cat for the guests to love. Not just give that adopted cat to someone else and break a families heart. But oh "We have refunded your money." so that makes it ok? NO. And when this is responded to negatively they'll just block you without a care in the world. So, Do not work with this rescue. They are careless, sketchy liars, who will go behind your back and break your families hearts if it suits them. Zero stars. read more

I've done feline rescue work for over 25 years now and this group is by far the best I've ever worked with. Our felines are rescued from shelters, animal control facilities in the metroplex, and also from individuals that find themselves in dire situations. The cats are then placed into a program that assures them safe haven for the rest of their lives. Adopters sign a contract that they will return any cat they can no longer provide safe haven for, the cat is returned into the program and the homing process begins anew. Volunteers socialize the cats & kittens daily. Felines are all vetted, tested for FIV/FLK, given all shots and NEUTERED before adoption, assuring that they will not add to the severe overpopulation problems our cities and towns are experiencing. You can even do a "sleep over" to assure both you and the feline are going to be happy. You can find us and our currently available felines at: classycats.org.
