I get my dog groomed here. They're usually very nice and my dog comes out so cute. PetSmart usually is known for price matching their competitors. I once asked a cashier to price match with Petco and he told me no they don't do that. They only do it with target and Amazon. I was thinking to myself it's this guy dumb or what Petco was your biggest competitor. Anyways, I ended up talking to someone else and he matched for me. I also play games on their app and won some coupons. I was going to do a pick up order and have the coupon in my cart and I decided not to do Pick Up and just walk in to get the product. I deleted my order off my phone and tried to use the coupon. They told me no because it was already used. I told them I didn't use it. I was told to bring her proof of rabies shot and when I presented it the stupid girl who looked like I interrupted her day said that my document was not acceptable. I am meticulous with my pet's vaccination records. I had the sticker with the expiration date, along with the signature of the vet that administered the shot. I will NEVER go back to that place. We brought in our Pomeranian and they shave off our whole dog completely. We told him specifically to NOT shave our dog and if his mats or hair is too complicated to restore, to let us know immediately, and to call us back, but to not shave the dog, and they did the exact opposite of what we want them to do. We came back to confront them, but the manager of the grooming was very disrespectful, and the girl who shaved our Pomeranian, was scared enough to come out and confront and apologize. This a long over due review for grooming. The first time I came here my god left with an ear infection. I didn't make it a big deal because the lady who helped me was very friendly. Now a year later, I decided to give this location another chance. I came in 17 minutes late and they were not able to accommodate me at all because I came later than the 15 minute grace period. I left feeling terrible, not necessarily because they denied me, but because of the rude tone. Leaving a 4 star review because the manager took steps 3 days later to remedie my bad grooming experience. However, this was my first and last visit to this groomer. Reason 1) bad 1st experience, 2) my dog was not washed well 3) I learned they keep dogs in crated for 3-4 hours 4) services paid for were not completed 5) services completed were not up to standard of other groomers we've done business with (we recently moved) Experience: My dog had one of the very last appointments of the day. It was a Monday. A male groomer assisted us. He was very quick. I was initially happy about it, but I made the mistake of not checking his work. Same day, my partner noticed that my dog smelled, and he said she normally smells good the day after her spa day (that's what we call it). I now understand that she was not washed well--that's why he was so quick. The next day I noticed her paws were not trimmed well--most had hair sticking out in random places on her paws. Also, her nails were not filed and her teeth were not deep cleaned, and I added the extra $30 to cart for these extra services. Also, her thumb nails were not cut at all. Lastly, her anal glands were not secreted. She was scooting the same day. I called and they rescheduled me for that same week to complete the missed services. I was a little surprised they did not push back. 2nd visit I was advised that the sanitary trim does not include a slight body or face trim. It's just her bum area and paws. This was a disappointment, but the manager helped me with the hair blocking my dogs eyes. Her anal glands were not empty I was refunded for the two services missed, services were completed, and the hair blocking her sight was cut. read more

Closest PetSmart location to me, never had an issue here. Plenty of parking since it's located in a pretty spacious plaza. Definitely join their membership program since you can accumulate points, access deals, and get some discounts. I believe it's an extra 1,000 points if you set up a profile online. We have pet cats and a leopard gecko back at home, most of time we get stuff for our cat here. Grooming and cleaning supplies, toys, treats, etc. Unfortunately for our gecko we have to go to a reptile specialty store since she's picky with her mealworms. Yes, things can be a bit pricey, but that's why, no matter what store if you're in need of something, to do some shopping around. Stock can get a bit scarce and has been kinda random on the days that I have gone (no real difference between weekdays and weekends, so it might be a shipment thing). With that being said, some of the clearance deals are pretty good and affordable here, especially with holiday themed toys and trinkets being massively marked down after the holiday has passed. The store has been fine. Their adaption agency, workinwhiskers, is really bad. My wife and I have 3 cats , which we all bought at pet smart, and wanted to add to our family. My wife, 2 kids and myself came in to find that a new adoption agency had been brought in. We were expecting our experience to be like all the other adoptions, see many different cats, find one we fall in love with, pay, and take the cat home. Not with workinwhiskers. After we found the cat that we fell in love with we asked how much. $200. Ok, that's more than we paid for our other cats with petsmart, but ok we'll pay. Sorry you can't take the cat home. You have to fill out a 50 point questionnaire and wait for a phone call. Disappointed, we went home, filled out the form and waited. After 5 days of hearing nothing we reached out via email and they responded the next day that they had tried calling and left a message. I did not receive any messages or calls. I again gave them my number in my email response. After two days we heard nothing. I sent an email telling them to ignore our application as this whole process really takes the joy away of adopting a new pet. The next day my wife gets a call from them asking more questions and scheduling an "in-home" visit. The next day Amisa came and visit our home with my wife. After approving our home she dropped news on my wife about the cat we were looking to adopt. The cat is sick with a gingivitis issue and would need to be taken to an animal dentist after we bring it home to get the issue looked into and get a teeth cleaning which would cost upwards of $500 dollars. My wife was polite and said we would look into it and Amisa left. After talking about it we decided to go with our second choice kitten we put on the application. My wife text Amisa to let her know. Amisa's response was this, "I completely understand wanting to be cautious. Thank you for being honest and letting me know. After discussing this with my rescue partner, we feel it's important that adopters be comfortable with potential future medical care, as even kittens who are healthy now can develop needs later on. Because of that, we don't feel it would be the right fit to move forward with an adoption at this time. Thank you again for your openness, and I wish you and your family all the best". So because we didn't want to buy a sick cat, we're not the right fit? All 3 of the other cats we purchased from petsmart, different adoption agency, were a great experience. We bought healthy cats who are still healthy. I'd stay away from workinwhiskers as they're trying to sell sick cats and drop on you that they're sick after they approve everything else in their extensive process to adopt a cat. Until petsmart switches adoption agency's we will not be coming in. Unacceptable. read more

I have been a customer at the grooming salon for many years all because of one pet groomer who is very professional and really cares for my pets. A shout out to Audrey for giving the best service ever! Had a very bad experience today. I called to schedule a grooming appointment when the staff asked about my pets being up to date with their rabies shots. I said they are and I was told to bring proof on appointment day. I asked if this is a new policy when in my experience being a customer for many years the salon would normally call the vet to clarify. The staff was being rude, she did not let me finish my sentence and just forwarded my call to the salon manager who was also in turn not understanding of my concern, not letting me finish my sentence and talks over me. I asked to get the name of the rude staff who I first spoke to and the manager refused to give the name for protection purposes. I personally felt ganged up on and find this very unprofessional. I asked to speak to a higher position and was forwarded to the store manager who was polite and tried to hear me out, promised to call me back in an hour which she did. Unfortunately, the store manager ended up siding with the salon manager and claims it is their company policy not to disclose the name of the rude staff who first assisted me. My only point of asking for the name of the rude staff is to know who to avoid the next time I call about my future appointments. Now I feel uncomfortable even calling to verify if the appointment I made is confirmed or not only for the reason of being bullied by the salon manager and the rude staff. I was promised by the store manager that someone else will be reaching out to me within the day. If it really weren't for my pets' groomer, I wouldn't be coming back to this particular store. I am not one to leave negative reviews but based on other customers' same experience of rude staff at the grooming salon, I feel it is but just to also leave my thoughts on here to help out the community, so they avoid sharing the same fate as I did as a customer. read more

HORRIBLE DOG BATH EXPERIENCE Do not bring your dog here to bath. Last time, I brought my dog (husky) here and he got a cut on his toe, the groomer sends him to the hospital inside the petsmart. The shop gave us the antibiotics for the cut for free, but still charged the bath. This is fine, but that cut was scary and I have no idea how my dog got it. So I went to another place next time, but the shampoo they used was bad and made my dog's fur very stiff, so I came back to this petsmart again. This time, the groomer says my dog is very out of control, which was recorded due to last grooming experience, so she charged $15 extra because of the extra attention my dog requires. Before the shower, they found out my dog has a cut on the right back leg to avoid any confusion. When my dog is ready, the groomer continued to complain how out of control my dog was during the bath and how much extra effort she needed to put into to bath my dog. So after her rant, my family just brought my dog outside to pay to avoid hearing her rant any longer. And now, just got home, I found a cut on my dog's left back foot. Remember, before it was right back foot, and now there's a NEW CUT!!!! what's going on PETSMART?!! Of course my dog will be out of control, because you freaking HURT him again. Grooming experience was extremely horrible yesterday. Groomer was late. Made to wait even while groomer was there but no one came to inform us, added 20 mins of waiting for NO REASON. Groomer ignored my note on how I wanted my dog groomed. SHE also ignored the PHOTO shown to her about how we wanted the dog groomed, upcharged me SIGNIFICANTLY for "dematting,"only to fully shave the dog once I picked it up. This is a major rip off and extremely unprofessional. Located in a large plaza with other businesses that includes Target and Quickly. My husband and I came by this location last night to pick up an online order. I saw on Petsmart that they had these cute little Martha Steward dog beds on clearance for less than $10 (before tax). Unfortunately they were all out of stock on line but luckily this was the only location near me that still had one of the dog beds I wanted in stock. So I made the order for store pick up right away and soon after, received an email telling me my order was ready for pick up. When we came into the store, an employee at the register greeted us and asked if we needed any help. After we told her we were here to pick up an on line order, she paged someone to the front to help us out. Shortly after, an employee came out and helped us with our order. When she opened the cage where the online orders were kept, I saw another dog bed that I wanted but had shown it was sold out on Petsmart's website (both online and in stores near me). She showed me where the last of their clearance beds where, so I ended up getting a 2nd dog bed for our other dog and paid for it at the register. Customer service was friendly and check out for our online order (I had already prepaid via paypal when I made the order) and in store was quick and easy. The grooming staff was mean because we went to the wrong PetSmart for my dog's appointment. Told me if I keep getting my appointment cancel, PetSmart will not accept me as a customer. The attitude she gave me was like she didn't care about me as customer. That's the first time I ever heard that getting too much appointment cancellation can cause a grooming salon not willing take customer and refuse to service. I really enjoy coming to this location during the summer, because it's empty on the weekdays. The staff was kind of sparse, but it made sense. The reason I like going to different locations, is because every store has different prices on fish tanks and various items. But mostly, fish tanks.
