I called in for a same day appointment and she was able to take her. My dog doesn't require any cuts so I was just asking for a wash / nail trim / brush / etc. She told me the appointment would only take an hour which was surprising because typically she would take a little over an hour for this type of appointment. I redeemed the free tooth brush as well. Things to note: - Call first to set appointments - This place is cash only - There's a dog parking station that looks like a pet store, I wish they provided some water here I appreciated the price and how quick the appointment was, unfortunately my dog was still pretty damped when I picked her up. Typically when they are still wet, she sheds a little more than normal so I had to dry her up when I got home and then proceeded to take a while to deshed her. She told me that my dog was a good dog though so I'm happy to hear they got along. read more

This is my go to favorite groomer! They always treat my dog so sweetly so he is never scared to go with them or cries for me like he has at other places. I love how my boy always comes back smelling so fresh and usually in under 2 hours which is not an easy task with his coat! I did not know that they only accepted cash because it was my first time coming here and there was no mention of it during the same-day appointment I made via phone. However, ladies who trimmed my cat's nails today were very kind and understanding! They let me grab cash from home, which took 30 minutes, because I couldn't grab cash from nearby ATM's. When I came back, they had saved the nails they trimmed as proof of service before throwing them away. The price of a nail trim here is the same as going to my vet, but Hello Bestie's availability is much more open, so I will definitely be coming back every two weeks! There are no seats in the reception area but it was easy for me to park right in front of the salon. The grooming tables are still visible from the storefront so I would imagine that it's fairly easy to watch them groom your pets. read more

I have never been to a groomer that has a turnover time of less than 2.5 hours! As a dog mom of two dogs and having separation anxiety whenever I take them to the groomers; I would somewhat freak out on how long the process would take. Most groomers I take my dog to would lock the dogs up in cages for HOURS until it was their turn to get groomed no matter what time your appointment was. I did not enjoy that at all. Moochi Dog Salon is so accommodating when it comes to scheduling. I was lucky enough to get a same day schedule as someone cancelled and the owner called me to let me know right away when there was an open availability! I would have about an hour and a half or so to run some errands and I would get a call that my dogs are all ready and set to go! What I love most is that shears are used to make my dogs look so well groomed compared to just using shavers. The TLC the groomers give my dogs are exceptional! I never get complaints that my dogs are vicious and would attack when getting groomed here. I guess it really depends on who grooms them because Moochi probably knows how to calm a nervous dog down instead of abusing them? I know my dogs well and they would attack if they are in harms way. Anyways, I hope this review helps anyone reading this consider Moochi Dog Salon!! They also have one in San Gabriel also! Came here for the second time and I am just so pleased with moochi's dog salon! While they were closed, I resorted to mobile grooming salon and my baby came back looking awful. It takes real a proffesional to work with curly, matted maltipoo fur. I brush him daily but he always seems to get matted once he gets to a certain fur length. I hate when he has to get shaved down completley but that's what most dog groomers would do.... but with Moochi's salon, they take the time to completely untangle all the hair to make it nice and fluffy!! The breed of my dogs mom is unknown (at least to me) but if I had to guess...I would say a dirty mop. Her name is princess but she's far from looking like a princess.
