I did not know that they only accepted cash because it was my first time coming here and there was no mention of it during the same-day appointment I made via phone. However, ladies who trimmed my cat's nails today were very kind and understanding! They let me grab cash from home, which took 30 minutes, because I couldn't grab cash from nearby ATM's. When I came back, they had saved the nails they trimmed as proof of service before throwing them away. The price of a nail trim here is the same as going to my vet, but Hello Bestie's availability is much more open, so I will definitely be coming back every two weeks! There are no seats in the reception area but it was easy for me to park right in front of the salon. The grooming tables are still visible from the storefront so I would imagine that it's fairly easy to watch them groom your pets. read more

I called in for a same day appointment and she was able to take her. My dog doesn't require any cuts so I was just asking for a wash / nail trim / brush / etc. She told me the appointment would only take an hour which was surprising because typically she would take a little over an hour for this type of appointment. I redeemed the free tooth brush as well. Things to note: - Call first to set appointments - This place is cash only - There's a dog parking station that looks like a pet store, I wish they provided some water here I appreciated the price and how quick the appointment was, unfortunately my dog was still pretty damped when I picked her up. Typically when they are still wet, she sheds a little more than normal so I had to dry her up when I got home and then proceeded to take a while to deshed her. She told me that my dog was a good dog though so I'm happy to hear they got along. read more

This is my go to favorite groomer! They always treat my dog so sweetly so he is never scared to go with them or cries for me like he has at other places. I love how my boy always comes back smelling so fresh and usually in under 2 hours which is not an easy task with his coat! Lol Amazingly, they are super affordable too, so I am able to bring him in more consistently. Thanks Hello Bestie team, you guys are the best!! read more

My dog came out unusually calm, and unexcited, she didn't seem happy after her grooming, she stopped doing her business in our front yard and started making her mess randomly inside our house, makes me wonder what they did to her, over the last few days she has gotten back to her normal self, but still refuses to make her mess in the front yard, I have to walk her a few times a day just so she can do her business outside, I feel they did something bad to her, I DO NOT recommend !! DO NOT ENTER!!!!! read more

3rd time bringing my Pomeranian and have not been disappointed. First two times was just for a wash & slight trim. This time around we decided to trim his coat all around because he has been shedding a lot. I told the lady exactly how I wanted it and she did exactly that. I am very pleased with the results and will continue to bring my little Pom here. Can't be the prices either, very reasonable! FYI: Cash only read more

I have never been to a groomer that has a turnover time of less than 2.5 hours! As a dog mom of two dogs and having separation anxiety whenever I take them to the groomers; I would somewhat freak out on how long the process would take. Most groomers I take my dog to would lock the dogs up in cages for HOURS until it was their turn to get groomed no matter what time your appointment was. I did not enjoy that at all. Moochi Dog Salon is so accommodating when it comes to scheduling. I was lucky enough to get a same day schedule as someone cancelled and the owner called me to let me know right away when there was an open availability! I would have about an hour and a half or so to run some errands and I would get a call that my dogs are all ready and set to go! What I love most is that shears are used to make my dogs look so well groomed compared to just using shavers. The TLC the groomers give my dogs are exceptional! I never get complaints that my dogs are vicious and would attack when getting groomed here. I guess it really depends on who grooms them because Moochi probably knows how to calm a nervous dog down instead of abusing them? I know my dogs well and they would attack if they are in harms way. Anyways, I hope this review helps anyone reading this consider Moochi Dog Salon!! They also have one in San Gabriel also! Which is also convenient for me as I'm usually out here or down in SGV! :D read more

Came here for the second time and I am just so pleased with moochi's dog salon! While they were closed, I resorted to mobile grooming salon and my baby came back looking awful. It takes real a proffesional to work with curly, matted maltipoo fur. I brush him daily but he always seems to get matted once he gets to a certain fur length. I hate when he has to get shaved down completley but that's what most dog groomers would do.... but with Moochi's salon, they take the time to completely untangle all the hair to make it nice and fluffy!! The quality of their work is worth every penny & I will continue to use their service! I didn't catch the dog groomer's name working with my pup but I believe his name was Christian? He is very kind and did a tremendous job !! I am so so happy !! read more

I only have good things to say about Hello Bestie Pet Services! 1. Everyone is really nice. My dog was so nervous that he accidentally pooped in the counter. They cleaned it up and said that he's probably nervous. I felt so bad but they were so understanding! 2. The place is very very clean! 3. My dog was ready earlier than expected. They're very good with commutation! 4. My dog's haircut was so nice! And he smelled so good. Overall, I'm so happy to take my dog here. I know that he's in good hands! read more

The service was excellent! I called several grooming places on my day off, and this was the only place that answered my call and offered to see my dog immediately. The women were friendly and welcoming. They quickly comforted my dog, who seemed unusually scared or nervous when we arrived. I was wondering what to expect since it was my first time there, and they seem like the business is possibly newly opened. I was thrilled with the service! My dog looked and smelled great! They focused on his ears and did a great job with the nail trimming and everything else that came with the service. The price was reasonable, and dropping him off was convenient. read more

My uncles dog needed her nails trimmed and I found this place on yelp. The owners are super friendly and very nice, I would recommend them most definitely to anyone who is looking for a groomer. They were supportive of my uncles dog because she was scared and let us come back there to support our dog. Nail trimming was only $15! Affordable and the owners spoke multiple languages. Dope spot! The owners also gave us a lot of information on aftercare with our pup! read more

A hidden gem in W Covina. Love this place! The owner is knowledgeable, friendly and time efficient. Definitely recommend!

This was our puppy Bennys first time with a groomer. Chris was awesome. We were a little sad leaving Benny, but got a call from Chris before 2 hours. We found Benny sitting on Chris' lap when we got there. He's tail was wagging so we knew he was a happy puppy. We will definitely be taking Benny back ro Chris. read more

If I can give more stars then I would. My dog does not like being alone and doesn't let anyone groom him, but Chris takes such great care of him and gives him the attention and care that he needs. My dog always comes back looking well groomed and Moochi Dog Salon never disappoints. This is my second time and this time my dog needed more TLC with a recent diagnosis of paralysis. We were so worried, but Chris went above and beyond for our dog. Please consider them when you need your dog groomed. read more

Took my moms dog to get groomed today. I simply called as it is close to the house and I was given a same day appointment. The breed of my dogs mom is unknown (at least to me) but if I had to guess...I would say a dirty mop. Her name is princess but she's far from looking like a princess. Well maybe princess Fiona from shrek. Princess has a lot of anxiety and the salon was able to accommodate this. They said they would work slow which I thought was very nice and professional of them. When my mom brought her home I was very impressed. She did look like an actual princess! The price is on point and we will be taking her back! read more
