so glad to find my new groomer! I'm always nervous to take my baby girl anywhere because socially she could be a little bit nervous or snippy, but she loved carol right away. I took her in at 9:30 and my mom picked her up a few hours later. For $80 (that includes tip) she got a bath, haircut, nails trimmed and her teeth cleaned. she looks so cute and feels so soft. she's so happy! my mini aussie needed a pretty good rear end trimming and had to many knots behind her ears and carol handled it so well! it looks great and not one knot, even though I previously tried to trim some out and gave her a wonky haircut. she's feeling like herself again! thanks carol! read more

Your employees (god bless them) have great customer service you'll learn a thing or two from them if you at least stop being so stubborn. Love this place. One of the only grooming shops around here that I trust with my pets. Carol and her staff are amazing and really nice to me and my pets. The haircuts always look fantastic. One of my dogs is bad so I know not to expect perfection on him since he is a biter. It looks better than any other groomer has made him so I am happy. Definitely recommend to anyone willing to try out a new groomer. Regarding COVID, they are taking precautions so no one is allowed inside the building except for workers. The way they are doing this is to have customers come to the back parking and call to drop off. Love that they are keeping safe precautions to keep the employees and customers safe. read more

So which storyline is true? Who is in charge of making appointments and why have they not been aware of change in hours in order not to cause inconveniences like these? As a person who works in customer service as well and values the importance of it when running a business, I gave this place 1star. The service is great, I love how they take their time and cater to their dogs needs instead of rushing . My only issue is the lack of professionalism. Very happy with The Paw Expression. Our dogs go happily in for grooming and come out looking fantastic! Its always a good experience for them. The staff is courteous and friendly to pets and humans. Prices are very reasonable. We bring in a Great Dane, Schnauzer mix and a Spoodle. We are so pleased that we set up for grooming every 4 weeks. My dogs were having to be dragged in or running out at 3 other groomers. We finally found the right place!! read more

Stay away! The worst groomer ever. She butchered my dog and then wouldn't even own up to it. She was extremely rude and kept making excuses. My dog is a 10 month old cockapoo. She kept him from 9:00am to 4:30pm more than likely in a crate the majority of the time and then tried to shave him. Obviously he wasn't sitting still and she couldn't handle him! He has spots that are shaved down to the skin and other spots that are very long. Luckily she didn't cut him. She didn't cut his nails. He looks terrible and was so anxious when he got home that he threw up all over the place. I think it is time for her to retire. Never again! read more

Not a single response. Called again the next day, again no answer. I immediately get a text message back from Cara stating she is sorry to have missed my call and how can she help. I immediate text back with my questions from yesterday (already on the same thread!) and then again no response. Wait another hour and again NO RESPONSE. Place does not perform like a legitimate business. Just a heads up, these people seem shady and not worthy of trusting your beloved pet to! I can always count on this location to come through. I am very particular with who is caring and grooming my 3 fur babies so i am thankful i can trust the owner. She is a very sweet lady. I gave a 4 vs a 5 star because my babies have had not so great cuts in the past, but nothing to complain about... also the place is not the nicest, kinda run down but my dogs come home very clean and NEVER a flea or issue. Carol and her staff have taken care of our dogs (4 of them) for over 10 years. She takes most of the dogs by apt in the mornings so it gives them time to groom them and pick up in the afternoons. It's not that much of a walk-in type of business, like pet smart or equivalent in my opinion. All her customers have been long time clients. She is very knowledgeable and have been doing this forever. My dogs love her even our crazy Charlie who was found and has a snappy personality. She found ways to groom him unlike others who just said he wasn't cooperating. They also offer teeth cleaning every so often by another lady whom we have used before also and they have been great, prices were more afforadable than our vet. Support the local small business, she does close early when they are done....its just how it is. Call and plan ahead ;) read more

Worst service ever!!! I used to take my puppy here and was a regular customer cause I did love the look of the haircuts after, until I noticed that my pup had come home after a haircut with small CUTS ALL OVER HER FACE!!!! I was horrified and felt awful my baby had to go through that, but I also understood she probably moved a lot when they tried to cut the hair around her face (she doesn't like the loud noises or when someone touches her face for too long) so I was understanding about it and decided to take her back there. BUT NEVER AGAIN!!! My mom had brought up the face cuts on her own review when it occurred and the lady claimed my pup was never even a customer, then when we did take her back the lady said she was surprised we took her back in the first place and that, that was the last time she was "accepting" her. She was the one who sent back my pup with cuts literally all over her face and instead of an apology or explanation she treated us like it was our fault and as if we were ever rude to her. I'm new to the area and took my 3 Yorkies here all at once. One of the three is very difficult, he had a bad experience before at another groomer in OC. He's so difficult that last time I groomed him elsewhere, a Vet had to sedate him. But to my surprise, Paw Expression was able to groom him completely, and he came out cuter than ever.
