Brought both my pups here over the weekend and I'm absolutely shocked my Shiba Inu enjoyed being there?? She's been to at least two other groomers in the past and every time she tries to run before we get to the door or runs to the door to exit if we are inside. Melanie was extremely welcoming and sweet with both pups and when I came back a couple hours later to pick them up, my Shiba ran to me and then ran back to the gate that separates the lobby from the stations and got more treats from Melanie. My husky had also kinda skipped over me and went behind the gate to watch a cat and get more treats. It makes me happy to see them comfortable at Paws & Co. I'm definitely bringing my girls back again. Another plus, all scheduling can be done online. Melanie is absolutely wonderful. My dog is never nervous or scared to go get groomed because she is treated with so much love. Today, she was a mess and super matted, so Melanie had to use a vet razor to cut her fur down. She took it slow and kept me updated with pictures. While I absolutely trust that she is getting the best care, it is nice for your groomer to send pictures to help ease any worry or concerns you may have as a dog parent. I do not even know where to begin. Teddy is a special pup that needs special attention. I contacted Paws & Co and see if they were willing to take my little guy in after I was told he was too much to handle at the other groomer. Mel told me of course bring him in, she allowed me to come in and have Teddy meet the staff. He didn't even have an appointment it was just to come in and meet everyone. Months later he is being himself again after his grooming session, he's happy and running and wagging his tail. Have I got a hidden gem to share with you! I took my fur babies to Paws & Co for the first time. Melanie took such wonderful care of them. The TLC your fury family member receives at this salon is priceless. Usually when I take my pets to the groomers they are anxious and bark at anything. Not this time! The salon is open and has a very zen and calming ambiance. There was even a very large dog receiving a beauty treatment and my babies did not fuss. The grooming and cut was DONE TO PERFECTION and completely fixed the botched haircut that my dog Teddy had before.
