Groomin Gaby has been grooming my shih tzus for years she is the best dog groomer around. My dogs hate baths including from me but they handle them well from Gaby she is gentle and patient and always alerts you if there's something you should know about that you may have not noticed one time she pulled a foxtail out of my dogs ear. I'm so grateful to her for always accommodating my dogs for grooming and being so patient and kind with them. I wouldn't trust another groomer again. A shih tzu never forgets a bad haircut. They had a few before meeting Gaby. Always try to book your appointment in advance as she does fill up especially before a holiday. read more

Called this business on December 21st to get pricing and to try set an appointment for my dog. Voicemail said to text or leave a message and they would respond as soon as possible. There first reply came back 2hrs later! I replied back asking to set an appointment and never heard back. My experience just trying to set an appointment was extremely poor. I will never call them again nor will I recommend them. Replying to comment left by owner... Amazing how quickly you reply to reviews but NOT TEXT MESSAGES. Yes you did state that you give your pets 100% of your attention. Apparently you pay no attention to potential new clients. I'd be more than happy if shared a screen shot showing how many hours passed when I requested your next possible opening for grooming....TWICE!! Only when I sent you a text stating you would receive a negative review did you FINALLY respond back...again how many hours had passed??? Obviously you pay NO ATTENTION TO POTENTIAL NEW CLIENTS UNLESS YOU ARE "THREATENED" WITH A NEGATIVE REVIEW. Furthermore, I never stated you groomed my pet. Your defensive argument says a lot about your business practices. read more

Gaby did an amazing job with our dogs Cuddles and Ginger! They haven't been groomed in years and Gaby did an amazing job! She is very friendly and loves the dogs, and the dogs loved her too! They came out looking like puppies with their soft fur even though they are over 12 years old! Her pricing was affordable, scheduling was easy via text message, and she communicated excellently with the status of our dogs! Our male dog, Cuddles, is also extremely hyper and hogs all the attention as you can see on the Groomin Gaby instagram page, so we were glad she was able to groom him despite all of his crazy energy! We will definitely be coming back! read more

First off I must say... I'm extremely picky when it comes to my baby Sasha. I found Gaby here on Yelp and of course the 5 star reviews stuck out to me. I viewed all of her work on her website and I was impressed, not to mention she is very reasonably priced. I spoke with Gaby and found out she is a FT groomer and has been doing this for years. I first brought Sasha here when she was only a few months old. It was her first grooming session and I was very nervous. She didn't have all of her shots yet and Gaby made sure to block out enough time so no other dogs would be around. She also kept her in the grooming trailer and didn't take her out until I arrived. She took pictures for me of her first hair cut and sent me a lil collage. SO SWEET!! I pay attention to special detail like that because generally that means not only will they be a good groomer BUT more importantly she cares about the well being of my baby. Sasha got the works (bath, full body trim, nails cut, ears cleaned etc.) and when I picked her up, she was so clam and looked like a little princess all fluffed like a teddy bear. I was extremely impressed with the detailed work. With a lil puppy full of energy I don't know how she did it. She also informed that my baby had an ear infection. Sure enough I took her to the vet and she was right :( weeks before I attempted to bathe her myself and that resulted in an expensive vet bill, so I'll leave the grooming to Gaby. Since then I've taken my Sasha their several times, special request and all I've always been very happy. She earned my trust and she's the only one I take Sasha too now. I don't live that close it takes my about 30 mins to get there and most days I don't mine the drive. Although I do wish she was 100% mobile because some days my work schedule and traffic is crazy and that would just make it so much easier for me it she could come to my house, even if it was more expensive I wouldn't mine at all. I must say she always accommodates me and most times last minute notices she doesn't mine & that's great customer service. Until then I'll drive because Gaby is worth it. read more

I've been going to gaby for about 4 years now. She is amazing. Every time I pick up my dog Frosted Flakes she is happy and not shaking out of fear. This is how I know my baby is being well taken care of. Highly recommend Gaby. She always does great work. read more

When it comes to my pets, I want them to receive the best possible care that they can get. They're family, so of course I'm not just going to choose some random cheap pet groomer to do the job. I found Gaby on Yelp, and even though I only read two reviews, it was enough for me to trust her with both Mocha and Benji. I went on her website as well and saw her work, and I knew this was the person to go to. When I met with her, I could tell right away that she really loves what she does. Not only that, she really cares about the pets you bring to her. Because she has pets of her own, I felt that she had the same mindset that I had - They aren't just dogs; they're family. Gaby is so friendly and outgoing, and just having that small conversation with her gave me validation that I can trust her with Mocha and Benji. I was a little worried that she would not be able to deal with Benji, in that he is such an aggressive little guy. I knew he would take a lot of work too, because of all the mats he had in his fur. However, she did such an amazing job with him! He is now mat-free and I know he is much happier without all those crazy tangles in his fur. Moreover, what I really appreciated was that she kept updating me on how my dogs were doing. I feel that she doesn't only see this as a job, but as a passion, especially with the fact that she does so much for such a good price! With her positive attitude and her awesome customer service (not only to me, but my dogs), she is now my go-to groomer! read more

I love bringing our miniature schnauzer Madeline to Gabby. She is so kind and Madeline is never nervous to see her (she was always shaking going to other grooming salons). I appreciate Gabby's warmth and overall friendliness to us and to our Madeline. She of course does a great job with the grooming! I particularly sought her out because of the more individual attention she can give Madeline and Madeline isn't put into a tiny box to wait and develop anxiety. When you bring your dog to Gabby there is a lovely lawn for the dog to run around and feel comfortable and I think the cost is also friendly given the individual attention she offers your pet! read more

First timer with Gabby's Grooming and I must say we will definitely be going back to her. Once I found Gaby about a year and a half ago I haven't taken my dog anywhere else! I have a shitzu/Maltese mix and Gaby knows exactly how to cut him down for summer and any location. I hadn't found anyone who groomed my Milo just right but Gaby is a true dog grooming guru!! I also had a Labrador retriever and Gaby was great with her too. She is so gentle and precise. Also her pricing is perfect. She works out of her house, she has a mobile truck but haven't used the mobile deal because I do not live far. For my shitzu its $35 for wash, cut and all the cleaning of crevices, ears, etc. She even gives cute gender appropriate ribbons/bows/scarves depending on weather! :-) LOVE Gaby!!! I'll post a pic after today's grooming. If I could give 10+ that's what I would do!! read more

This was my first time going to a groomer. It's been a little over a year since I rescued my babies. And it was time for Daisy to get groomed. I was hesitant abt doing it bc she can b very aggressive with strangers. But it all turned out great and Gaby did such a wonderful job. My baby looks so different n beautiful n she seems to b very happy without all that excess hair. I would highly recommend her. Thank you Gaby!! read more

I saw all of these reviews and mentioned Gaby to my little sister because she was looking for someone to groom her dog. She was a little iffy about it at first because it wasn't someone from Petsmart, but I convinced her to give this place a try. She went a while ago and absolutely LOVED how Gaby cut his hair. Gaby is absolutely wonderful! She's very welcoming and she asked my sister what she'd like. I would definitely recommend her services. Gaby is awesome! I've only taken my malti-poo Chata to her once, and will DEFINITELY take her back! Gaby is your to go girl! I took my 11 year old American Eskimo to her and she did such an amazing job! He has tight hips and likes to lay down a lot during bath time but she was able to get him cleaned and shaved with no problems. He also doesn't like to get his nails trimmed but she was able to get those taken care of and even said he did fine! When i went to pick Charley up, i brought my 4 year old corgi to get her nails cut and Gaby was able to do it (which is saying a lot but Daisy definitely hates getting her nails cut) she's amazing. i highly recommend her. she's very kind and warm and gentle!! read more

Me and my dog love gabby! She is wonderful with my baby! She use to groom my moms aggressive shih tzu as well but he passed away she was great with him he never got aggressive on her. My dog is 15 and sooo dramatic but she is so gentle with him! I took him to petsmart once because gabby just had her first baby and wasn't able to groom and they called me with with in 30 mins saying my old dog who has never bit anyone in his life and has been groomed all his life broke skin on one of the groomers. So I waited till gabby could groom again and told her the story she couldn't believe it. She said she knows he's dramatic when it comes to his paws but he never even growls at her. Ever since I will never go anywhere but with Gabby! I love how she loves our dogs as her own and cares for them so dearly she is wonderful! She might take a while to reply but she's a mom! And 1 person who grooms! So you do need to book a appointment with her! read more

I was skeptical since I've had a bad experience with a previous mobile pet grooming. From initial contact, I text messaged Gaby and was surprised she replied quickly! She was able to groom my MaltiPoo the same day on such short notice. That's difficult to find, most groomers ask if you're a returning or new customer and wouldn't give me same day appointment. Love that she's very local! That's a two thumbs up for me Love that when I arrived she was ready for him, when I asked how long she said a specific time and he was reach at that time Reasonable rates And last but not least I appreciate her patience with my baby he looked handsome Thanks Gaby! I was looking for a groomer after mine had left the vet and didn't say a word to me. I've been taking my temperamental Pomeranian there for 3 years. Needless to say, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find another groomer who would do a good job and handle my meanie at the same time. I found Groomin' Gaby on yelp and saw such great reviews that I decided to contact her. She's also in Baldwin Park which is a plus since I live there too. Gaby was extremely flexible with my schedule and was always prompt to reply to my inquiries. Remy was done in an hour and a half and looked absolutely perfect! She did exactly what I asked for! If you're looking for a groomer, Gaby is your girl! I found her here, on yelp.. And yelp has let me down before with food reviews (LOL) But all these comments about Grooming Gaby were spot on. I took my dog to her a few months back and he came out looking so adorable! I was one happy customer! She knows what's she's doing and I love how she gave me tips for our next visit. She's so thoughtful and caring. Sweetest groomers I've ever met. Most definitely coming back. read more

My previous groomer had done a very good job with my two miniature poodles but the distance became too much and my dogs were caged for most of the day. So I decided to give Gaby a shot. We set up the appointment by text. She arrived on time and my dogs took an immediate liking to her. She took an hour or so for both and they were never caged. I snuck a look through the window because I was curious how my female, Cici, was holding up, as she's notoriously difficult to groom. Not this time, as she was calmly letting Gaby trim her. Gaby did a great job on their cuts and to top it off, her prices were very reasonable. I'm very happy with the results. read more

Here is a great example of perfect customer service. I've had my dogs groomed by Gaby several times now. She is absolutely one of the friendliest and outgoing persons I've ever met. You get the sense of her passion for her work. Shopping around I've also found that she is very conveniently priced. For the great grooms along with her great attitude, you would expect it would cost more. I love how my dogs come back home groomed, clean, fresh but most of all, I love the custom scarfs they get around their neck after every visit. Really, you get so much at a wonderful price.
