So I actually visited for the first time on 7-10-2026. Most people have a dog or a cat or a fish aquarium I don't have neither. I like to step outside in the yard area in front of my apartment unit and get some fresh air. I see cardinal birds, woodpeckers, maybe brown thrashers and other little brown birds and morning doves. The squirrels come to eat the buffet of birdseed in a group also there are 2 chipmunks out there also robin birds. This is the only birdseed that I purchased from here. I got this for the morning doves other birds eat it also. All other birdseed I previously got from 2 other grocery stores. I stopped by PetSmart with my mom's new dog, who was in desperate need of a harness and leash. The harness situation was nonexistent. The retractable leash? Completely busted. I knew picking the right harness wouldn't be easy because most versions are a struggle to put on, which isn't ideal for my elderly mom, and to top it off, this fluffy dog is between sizes. I wasn't stuck for long before an angel named Diane came to the rescue. She must've read my mind because she jumped right in, helping me try multiple harnesses until we found the right one. She even suggested letting the dog walk around in it, which is when we realized our first choice was too loose. Before I could even say a word, she had already called over another amazing employee. This young, tall, African American gentleman--whose name I wish I'd caught--was just as patient and helpful. He sifted through storage bins and found the perfect harness, then helped Diane guide me through leash options. We went over colors, styles, and even specs, making sure we had exactly what my mom's dog needed to the point that he literally left the store wearing his new harness and leash. I was blown away by their patience and attention to detail. They stayed with me until I was 100% happy, which meant a lot. I'm usually pretty self-sufficient, but this was a challenge. The checkout process was quick and easy. My mom's dog is officially set, and from now on, we'll be getting all her pet supplies here. read more

I ordered a curbside pick up the evening before and came the next evening on a Wednesday before 7 pm. I like how I can leave the heavy lifting for the friendly staff member who came out to my car with 40 pounds of cat litter and 14 pounds of cat food. I keep earning $10 rewards this month for purchases over $49, so I appreciate the savings and the ease of purchase. This is my neighborhood PetSmart and I have always appreciated the customer service and remember getting a photo with the Easter Rabbit once (the cats didn't want to come). My first time grooming experience with PetSmart left me in shock and total disappointment with my pets grooming. I took my Golden Doodle into the Lavista Rd Tucker location for a full service grooming at the cost of $160 bucks. I have a 8 month old Golden Doodle with curly hair that simply needed to be bathed, brushed and trimmed in specific areas around the head & chest. What they did was cut all my dogs hair off from noise to tail. No style, No type of definition, just a buzz like cut of my dog. The very definition of Grooming is providing a service that maintains the appearance, skin, coat health, and overall well-being using skills to make the appearance of dog better, without dramatically changing its appearance. Simply put, my poor dog was given a full body effortless buzz cut. His fur shaved off in the middle of winter, that's unevenly cut and frankly looks horrible. It's the middle of winter and my dogs fur has completely been cut off is not practicing common sense of considering the health of the pet by unnecessarily cutting all his hair off. I'm highly upset with the results and so far have not been given an apology, only shallow explanations and excuses. read more

This review is for the PetSmart grooming salon at the Tucker, Ga. store. I made an appt. on-line for my dog to have a "Bath and Brush" with an added "Deluxe" service which would include special shampoo and conditioner, teeth brushing, breath spray, and nail grinding. The combined packages also included ear cleaning. My dog is very short haired so didn't need sanitary trim, paw pad trim, or expressing the anal glands. Should be a very easy groom. When I dropped my dog off, I mentioned to the groomer that her ears were very dirty from digging in the yard and also, she did not need any trimming as mentioned above. When I got my dog home, I noticed she didn't even smell like she had been to the groomer. She didn't smell bad, but she didn't smell like any kind of shampoo and certainly no scented "spritz." I'm ok with my dog not smelling like perfume but it just seemed really odd. Even with short fur it usually is fluffed up a bit after a bath and it was pretty flat. I almost wondered if they forgot to use shampoo. What really upset me is I looked in her ears and they were still dirty. I took a tissue and cleaned out quite a bit of dirt and I didn't even wipe in the ear canal itself. The salon was already closed by this time or I would have called to express my concern. I feel like I way overpaid for the services my dog received. I've used this salon before without an issue but at this point doubt I will return. read more

Don't bring your dog here for grooming. I had an ok experience the first time I brought my dog here for a full groom, but this second time was awful. My dog has been home for almost a week and still has been yelping from pain when she moves a certain way. She was certainly hurt here, her neck was swollen after and it seems that one of her legs hurts as well. Her cut was also way shorter than it's ever been. My mom also had to wait 40 minutes to pick her up, the front desk staff did not care she was waiting. read more

Usually love the customer service here but this new lady named Candice (Lightskinned African American Woman with slicked back short dark hair) in the front was extremely rude for no reason. It seems as if I looked like someone she hated because when I got to the register she already had it out for me! She slammed my products down on the counter while I had my hand open to receive the products after I told her I didn't need a bag since it was only a few products. I'm just trying to lower my carbon footprint lady. The entire experience was wild. I've never experienced that coming to this location. It's always been friendly and loving. I've had two decent grooming appointments here. My dog does not need his hair cut so I book the bath and brush which includes ear cleaning, glands, etc. I love that you can book appointments through the app. Both times the check in and check out experiences were efficient and he comes back looking like he was well cared for during his time. I always love taking my dog to get his bath and grooming here. I always asked for Aaron because he does a wonderful job. About a week ago I made an appointment and was informed that Aaron does not work there but I made the appointment anyway. I did not get the name of the person who was going to groom my dog but they told me they would give me a call when my dog was ready. I NEVER got a call, 4 or almost 5 hours have passed with out a call and mind you his appointment was at 7am. So I went to pet smart at 12pm and he was already done. Once I got home, I noticed my dog was not his usual happy self. I checked him and he was all red from his private part and just below his tail. He wouldn't stop licking himself because he was in pain. His usual groomer never did that to my dog. Aside from that, the main store is amazing they always have what I need. read more

So they say , 3rd times a charm, well not here! The grooming Manager was unnecessarily rough while plucking my 4yr old Schnauzers ears today after 2 return visits from earlier this week. Day 1 His face was not cut, day two they trimmed his face but didn't remove any hair from inside his ears. Really? That's one of the highlights of Hey schnauzer cut. And the manager, cut his hair on day two. Why would you skip over the ears? My dog is groomed on a regular basis ( but 1st time at PetSmart) and I am very disappointed and infuriated after the Mgr poor attitude , awful handling , & over all poor service from her and her assistant ( the Restrainer) . I feel like the grooming manager was extra rough with my dog just to prove to me that he doesn't like to get haircuts. She even had someone come in and tightly restrain my dog while she aggressively pluck hair from his ears ( as I watched from the outside window). It was so bad, that my dog was squealing and shaking during the ear plucking torture session. It was to the point where I ran inside the grooming Area and demanded that they (the dog retainer and the Mgr ) stop the service/ torturing my dog and the Mgr said 'now you see for yourself how your dogs acts! You need to take him to the vet so he can be sedated' smh!! He's never been to the vet and been sedated for grooming, and his ears are always clear and clean when he comes from his other groomer. To make things worse, The restrainer was very callus & unsympathetic after I said 'let him go.' Horrible Tag Team on Wed Morning April 20th. Long story short , after three days , Three attempts, The grooming Mgr can't get a Schnauzer cut right and need major dog handling training and need both people& pet skills. I wanted to come back and give credit where it's due here. Yes, sometimes they don't have every product that I want, which got the initial low score. I've got a very picky eater of a dog though, and so i've had to open bags of dog food, glucosamine vitamins/chews/etc, and each time my dog turned her nose up at them, I took the product back, opened, and got a complete refund. Staff was very helpful, gave recommendations on alternatives and even suggested buying a smaller bag of food just in case she doesn't eat it, instead of trying to get my money. I appreciate that they care about my dog, or at least seem to. Can't speak on the grooming service and customer service associated with it, but the front cashiers are extremely nice and informative. read more

I took my 11 month old Yorkie in for a Bath and Haircut + Top Dog Plus. This is $70.00. When I took him in, he did not have fleas. I was looking at his belly as I got into my truck, and there were two fleas (where there are two, there are probably more). I immediately took him back in. They said they could give him a flea bath, but it would be another 30 minutes. I didn't have more time to spend. I picked up some flea spray and flea shampoo, and asked for the manager when I got to the cash register. I didn't want the products free, but I did want them discounted. Instead, the manager gave my puppy a complimentary topical treatment of Frontline. That is good for long term management, but does NOTHING to keep the fleas from infesting my house, or getting transferred to my other dog. I understand that others may bring their dogs in with fleas. But, Petsmart needs to do everything possible to keep them from transferring to other dogs. When I told them that, the manager told me that some people did not want to have the pets treated if they had fleas or ticks. I told them that should not be an option. If the pet has fleas or ticks, it needs to be treated, or they need to turn the customer away. It is not fair to the rest of us that care about our pets to take them for a grooming at a company that is SUPPOSED to care about the welfare of our pets, only to have them leave with parasites that they did not have before they arrived. The haircut received was good, but the treatment received by the manager was horrible. If your pet does not have fleas, do not take them to Petsmart. Your pet will probably have fleas when you pick him or her up. read more

I took my dog - puppy to this location. I told the groomer damari not to shave my dog like a cat. I said it three times and stressed how important is was for her to keep her looking fluffy .. I even showed her a picture. When i picked my dog up she was shaved like a cat and looked a mess. I should have followed my instinct and not went there because when i got there the groomer nor the person that greeted me was friendly or smiling. On Monday I brought my dog in for his first grooming and our experience was awesome. Rae was our groomer. She was very nice and thorough with giving us options on how short we wanted his hair cut and even gave recommendations on specific areas. I made his appointment online and arrived at 4pm. He was ready for pickup around 6pm. He looked and smelled great I was very impressed. My dog is very skiddish when it comes to new people and places but he seemed very comfortable. My only recommendation would be when we arrived to pick him up no one was available to help us for at least 5-10mins which is a long time just standing there. We had to call the store from our cell phones so an associate would come to the front but overall I will definitely bring my dog back to see Rae and recommend her to others! read more

3 cats, 1 dog. That's what I have living at my house. So, I'm here a lot. The shopping center for this place is messed up...try, if you can, to ignore the giant 500 ft. radio tower in the parking lot. Proceed on the round-about and there it is. Plenty of parking, though. Always clean, plenty of staff on hand to assist you if you need it. I've had nothing but great experiences here. Everyone is very nice and they actually appear to enjoy working there. They have an area for adoption and grooming. Great selection of foods, toys, litter, etc. I spend way too much money on cat turds.... read more

I trust her to always do a wonderful grooming session for my Yorkshire Terrier. He is always so excited to see her and eager to get his session started. I took my two dogs here for grooming service. I felt that the service that I'd received from the groomer that helped me was quite strange. The whole entire time that I spoke to her, she seems to bit a odd. I felt that she was kind of drunk because she kept on asking me the same questions twice or even three times on the row. Oh well, I didn't think much of it at that time because I desperately wanted to have my two dogs groom that I didn't mind the strange behavior of hers. After four hours, I finally get to see my babies. The groomers did an "Ok" job on both of my dogs, but I'd seen better from my regular groomer from My Paws Place in sugar loaf parkway. Both of my dogs still had matted hair after they've been groomed. So overall, I would not go back to this place because I don't think that it worth it for the money at all. I paid $100.00 for both small dogs full service groom, but ended up having to trimmed some of the furs myself at home. If that was the case, I might as well groom them myself. read more

I am stupidly positive when it comes to most things, however today I'm not happy. After they canceled my appointment for Friday, they rescheduled our bath and nails appointment for Saturday morning. We were told to just wait in the store because it would only take an hour. THREE AND HALF HOURS LATER we walked in to pick up our dog still slightly damp with no bandanna that we paid for. We were told our dog was an issue and we shouldn't bring her in on a Saturday because they are most busy that day. After $91 we won't be back! read more
