I never paid attention to their pick up service. Order online and set up to pick up curbside or in store. In store just scan the check in QR code when in store for pick up. I did that for our neighbor today. Very handy. I also picked up some food for our pup. They have a new policy that not only do they price match with Patsmart online website, but they will price match with other retail stores like Target, Walmart, Chewy, and Petco. You're always guaranteed the lowest price thst way. That definitely will keep customers coming in. That had a lot of cute kittiens today. I like how they leave a feather string toy in the area, so you can play through the plexiglass with the cats. read more

I often visit this one cause they seem to have better stock of the wet cat food than the one located on Bell. Overall, staff is friendly at the registers. I do hear them yell out hello to customers as they walk in. I've also utilized their online order/store pick up which was nice. read more

If this is the store off of Waddell, We were so diasapointed that the profits for this store are above customer satisfaction. We had 3 great puppy training classes with the trainer that they let go. We bought many training tools that she suggested (pouch for treats, gentle leader, vest for slowing her, calming treats...) We returned back to CA during the Christmas break with the instructions to call back when we returned for the remainder of classes. After 2 weeks we retuned and called back immediately but did not get a return call back for a full month. Once again we called back and was told we were past their 60 day period of cancellation and could only get more classes unless we paid more. We have always gone to Petsmart but have to consider other options after this experience. read more

Took my dog Pearl in to see RuthE and couldn't be happier! She was so kind, patient, and really took the time to talk with me beforehand, which I really appreciated. Pearl looked amazing after her grooming -- you can tell RuthE pays attention to detail and truly cares about the dogs she works with. Definitely planning to come back to her again. If you want "qualified" pet groomers for large or gentle giants, do not take to PetSmart. They are not qualified to handle these large breeds nor have the equipment. The first time we took our dog, all went well and was told our dog did great. Unfortunately, the groomer left. Second time, and last time, we took her the groomer said that we needed to take her to another place that had belly restraint. When I told her first groomer didn't have any issues, she told me that that groomer had a tendency not to tell pet parents the truth. The second time we took her the job that was done was no where near as good as the first time. We do not recommend PetSmart groomers at Prasada. read more

I was so happy when this location was built as it is closer to my house but my experience today was it for me! Zoie is in the wrong profession! I tried to check in my dogs (2 Shih Tzu mixes, 1 terrier mix) and she claimed they were extremely matted and they would need to be shaved on their ears and tails. I knew they had tangles and expected the $15 extra charge but Zoie didn't even offer that, she just wanted to shave them and I refused that and asked for their ears and tails not to be touched. She continued to argue with me and then stated they couldn't receive any services. I checked in my terrier and left. I went home and easily detangled their "extremely matted" ears. When it came time to pick up my terrier, Zoie then claimed that my dog had matting on her paws even though she took extra time to look her over when I checked her in (after she refused to take my other 2 dogs) and she said her fur was fine. Miraculously, now she had matting. I paid and had the receipt emailed to me which I later discovered she charged me $10 extra for "special handling". She failed to mention there was an additional charge!! I will be going to Goodyear or the second Surprise location before I go back to Prasada, unfortunately. Do better Zoie!! read more

The grooming salon was one of the best I have been at in a PetSmart. I have been to several here and in California. The ladies working were super nice and really cared about my dog and her injured leg. They took their time with her and let her take a break when she couldn't stand anymore. Thanks! read more

It was our first and last experience with the groomers at Petsmart in Surprise. 5 hours later, after being told 3 times another 1 and a half, I finally get my two little dogs back. When I dropped them off I was told 1-2 hours, because one of them only needed a wash and brush. It was obvious I was upset at this time frame and not once did anyone offer an explanation or apology. Had some time to kill and have been waiting for some free time to check out this new location. The parking lot is large and shared with many shops. No issues with parking as of yet, but they are building like crazy around it. Once inside we were greeted right away by a sweet girl tending to the lizards and snakes. She was kind to my friends son and was patient as he looked in awe as she handled the snakes etc. the store is clean and organized. I went towards the back because I adore the kitties and wanted to give them a little visit. There were only a few inside, but unfortunately was told I couldn't even pet one in the back without scanning the barcode on their info sheet and setting an appointment. They looked so sad in there. There was a huge selection of fish and the tanks clean. We got to look at the pretty birds as well. I will be back soon since I do need some dog food, but didn't pick it up during todays visit. read more

Second time I've gotten my dog groomed at this location and I'm not sure I will give it a 3rd chance. My dog came out looking fluffy and clean, but almost as if I bathed her myself. I switched to professional grooming because of how I could tell the difference between myself grooming her and taking her somewhere. I also paid for the delux package because it said it would come with a bow or bandanna as well as a nail grind. We got no bow or bandana. The nail grind was super important for me because the 1st time we tried this location she came home with nails feeling sharper than before. When I read the details of the "grind" it pinpointed on smoothness. Today when I picked her up I could barely hold her because her nails were soo rough and kept scratching me. She was initially dropped off at 130 and we were told 2-3 hours. At 3.5 hours I called to ask if she would be ready soon as I had to run an errand and was worried I wouldn't be there in time to get her. I asked if it was okay to keep her there till I got back from the errand, but was told they just needed 5 minutes and she would be done. I can't imagine that after 3.5 hours that my calling to check in would be the reason the service was meh. I sadly don't think it's worth the $80 plus, the amount of time it took, the ok job for just a bath & brushing and also paying extra for a service add on that was not completed. read more

rescued a bearded dragon from here about a week and a half ago. brought him back 4 days ago because he was showing signs of having a parasite. i then called last night to check for any update as they told me they would call me and let me know. the guy that answered was clueless and said to call in am when manager was there. i called this morning and got a horrible attitude from the manager to begin with. then after i asked for an update she says "oh yeah they called last night and said they had to "wait a few days for ivs" and such, and i said "oh okay" and then she goes "but yeah they called me this morning and he passed away" like seriously? horrible experience. do not buy your replies from petsmart. buy them from a reputable store. LIKE CNB REPTILES IN PHOENIX! YOU WONT NEED TO RESCUE THEM! read more
