I took my puppy to get groomed at this location and everything was fine.. I recently went back to get her a puppy pedicure and they turned me down bec she isn't done getting her puppy shots. She has her last set and is under 6 months! When I tell the lady this she act as if I am lying... Not to mention I was told last time we have a year to get her puppy shots.. My dog is under 6 months old... Needless to say my dog can go someplace else to get her nails done.. Petsmart has lost all business from us! read more

The actual store is fine, but the grooming Department doesn't even deserve one star. We had been taking my dog to get groomed there for almost 4 years. She has special skin issues that they have always known about. About a month ago she really needed a haircut that was also very itchy from skin allergies because of it being Springtime. I set up an appointment online to have her groomed and they kept her in a kennel for almost 30 minutes before her groom. She ended up tearing up the side of her mouth because she gets anxious around other animals and she was extremely itchy that day. The Grooming manager calls me about 30 minutes after I am home asking me to come pick her up because the side of her mouth is bleeding. I go to pick her up and only talk to the groomer That was supposed to groom her. I apologized for the inconvenience. I never once talked to the grooming manager in store when I picked up my dog. It has been over 3 weeks. I took my dog to the vet and her skin issues have been resolved (for now). On Monday I made an appointment once again online to have her groomed on Saturday. The Grooming manager calls me today (which is Friday) to tell me that they no longer can groom her after the incident with her mouth. She claims that she advised me to take her to a vet (which we did). She said that my dog was a "special needs" dog and they could no longer meet her needs. I will never recommend this groomer to anyone and they have lost my business forever as well as several others that I know that take their dogs there. Horrible customer service! On top of that, they never did the best job on my dog. But we never complained. Probably should have and found a better groomer. Lesson learned. read more

Brought my puppy to get her nails trimmed. She cried hysterically the entire time and I thought she was being dramatic. The lady that was doing it handed her to another lady to finish up. I payed and got to the car and after a few minutes pf having her on me, she left my white pants all bloody. ALL of her nails were bleeding!!!!!! I was absolutely furious!! DO NOT bring your pet here. I take my dog here for grooming all the time. They're so friendly and they do a great job. Other than that, it's just your typical Petsmart.

I basically paid $55 for 5 hours at the groomers for two nail trims and a one wet dog. The other dog was dry but I can't tell is he was even bathed or not. I would not recommend bringing your animal here for grooming service. read more

On Saturday June 14th we took our 3 dogs to petsmart for a grooming and baths. I told the lady Tiffany P that our Ollie would prob snap when she got to his back legs because he's old and has Arthritis, her response was well I'll have to charge a special handling fee! our dogs have been going there for along time and never have we been charged this fee, so I said ok. so we leave than we get a call about Ollie, I can't finish his haircut and he can never come here again, when I ask why she said he was to stressed. so we go to pick him and the other two dogs up, this girl Tiffany P is complaining about other customers in front of the customers that were there and snapping towards her co-workers. she was very rude, my dog looks like he has mange or something because his hair is so uneven from her not finishing his cut, if this Tiffany P person is not happy at her job she needs to go find another, dogs can sense when your stressed out and have an attitude, that's prob while my Ollie was upset. never again will I bring my dogs to this store! Even if she was having a bad day, you don't take it out on customers, co-workers and your pets that are there for an appointment! very dissappointed! read more

This is not the best Petsmart. The chance of getting an employee to help you is non existent. The cashier could not figure out how to use a coupon that Petsmart emailed me. It took 15 minutes and 4 calls for a manager to get help. I will be shopping at Pet Supermarket. They have much better customer service. read more

I needed a vet on a Sunday, but did not want to pay the high fee of the emergency vet clinic. (Plus I found an online coupon for an office visit!) The staff was very helpful, and the clinic was clean. They were also sympathetic and patient with my family when unfortunately, we had to have our cat euthanized. I recommend this clinic, and am so thankful they were available when we needed them! Thank you! read more

I took my very large (aprox. 80 lbs) german shepherd mix to the groomer at petsmart today to get a nail grind done. He had a very bad vet visit a few months ago, which caused his personality to do a 180. He went from a very sociable, playful dog to a dog that was unpredictable. I brought him in with his muzzle to get the grind done. A younger man (with dark hair and plugs/guages in his ears) was the one to work on him. He had a co-worker hold my dog and pet him while he ground the nails down. Not only did they treat my dog as thier own, but the nail grind was the best I've ever seen! I highly suggest using this petsmart!!! I wish I had caught the man's name so I could suggest him as well! read more

We took our small pet in for grooming- Dog left with 6 Staples (which due to size of the dog was the whole side of her body) Dog now has permeant scar and fear of Groomer. We took her to get groomed to do pics and to go on a trip. All had to be cancelled.(Thank you Petsmart Groomer we were looking forward to our trip and photos getting done for quite some time) Person that did this to the dog should never be allowed to groom another dog again. Yet it was explained to me that it was considered no big deal to me by the manager and person was put back to work that day and we saw her grooming other dogs another day day I had to go get the staples removed from the dog. I was in shock- Petsmart Manager tried to down play the whole incident whole meanwhile I am in shock and I had to listen to some spiel from the manager- abt. how great Petsmart grooming is for at least 20 minutes Unbelievable !!!! By the way no one apologized to us. They didn't charge for grooming bec. they didn't finish- that was supposed to be another great benefit. I was in shock when this happened- Than thought abt. it later and not happy with the way it was handled or we were treated.Or that the dog groomer was allowed to continue grooming which we consider a pretty serious incident (although obviously Petsmart Grooming manager did not and Petsmart Corporte Office bec. I informed them because this is a serious issue and should be treated as one and I gave them the courtesy to inform them -which by the way I didn't have to do, and they couldn't be bothered to call us back and they have had plenty of time to do so so if this is the way they treat Pets and customers they will no longer be getting our business and we spent a lot of $$$ at this location over the years on pets- won't be doing so anymore) (They refused to give me the dogs paperwork in the event of a emergency with the dog) So much for the concern of the dogs well being. A family member said that when they told me abt. the dog and when I was walking over to see the dog I turned white- Petsmart Grooming manager was more concerned abt. selling me on Petsmart Grooming than the Well being of the dog they just caused to suffer and protecting therselves (obviously why I could not get the paperwork, but I only wanted it in case I needed it as I lived rather far from the vet in the event of a emergency with the staples and to show what medicine she was prescribed and by the way nothing for pain and that had to hurt. So much for "Professional Grooming" at Petsmart If you have a dog thats needs to be groomed you should be informed this is the story of what happened to our dog and how Petsmart handled it- and you should know that this person is still grooming at the Sav. GA location last time we were there to get the staples removed and if it happened to our dog it can happen to yours. read more

Make sure take plenty of money if you need put your dog to sleep I called them because my vet was closed and I ask how much it was going cost they told me $130.00 dollars my bill was over $200.00 to have him put to sleep. Luckily I had money but what about people who don't and take their pet there not expecting to pay more than what they tell you on phone. They seem care more about money than your dying pet. They were nice to us but it concerns me how they handle people who have dying pets. I suppose I should be glad they ate open to have a service on weekends. We are traveling across country and were in need of grooming for our Bichon Frise in Savannah. We decided to try Petsmart for the first time and were a bit nervous since there were no reviews of the grooming services. We were able to get a reservation for the next day with a charming young woman, Taelor, who listened to our concerns and requirements attentively. We left our dog for the 4 hour window they request for the basic groom. We were very pleased with the outcome which was as good if not better than many of the groomers we have used in the past. I also noticed that another groomer was very affectionate with another dog that was probably nervous and that people leaving the store after their dog's grooming seemed pleased as well. I am writing this review because so often people take for granted the good services they receive and don't review them, or else they only review the poor services. Just because this is a chain business doesn't necessarily imply less than good services. We are by likely to try Petsmart again during our travels. read more
