The manager Allie turned my cute Shih Tzu puppy into a Gorilla. As in it looks like a bowl cut on her head. She could easily be mistaken for a cave man or one of the Beatles. She also has a bush of hair that sticks straight out in front of her eyes. I asked for a teddy bear cut. For the price take your dog to people who know what their doing. read more

Never shopping here again I went to exchange a combination of a leash and collar and they meet and they made me pay 2.24 cents extra just to exchange this item I bought these two items together and when I went to exchange it because the caller was way to me with my dog they said wall it only gave you a discount because you bought two and one when I was exchanging it and I let the front desk know I exchanged it I exchange these the color with leash for that exact reason and they still made me pay $2.24 for the exchanged combo item, PetSmart you've lost my business forever I'm never shopping in your store again and there is nothing you can do to change my mind anyone with a brain who tries to exchange anything there an even exchange can even bother you been shopping there they should just go to jurassic pets or pet fun. read more

Please i you love your pet.do not take them to this pet store. I took both of my poodles for grooming and they hurt one of them. The next day she couldnt walk.i called them and ofcourse they denied any wrong doin.i spent 300 out of pocket for vet bills.the so called supervisor handeled this very unprofessional and i have yet to see any reimburstment. I took my dogs to get groomed today and will never come back. When I dropped my 2 dogs off the place was packed with dogs, they didn't even have them in kennels, just tied to something on the floor and the place was a MESS! They confirmed my phone number and said it would be 4 hours and they would call me. 4 hours later they hadn't called so I called asking if my dogs were ready and the front desk women proceeded to yell at me that my dogs were done over 2 hours ago and that it was dangerous for them to be in the shop so long. I said I was waiting for them to call me like they said and she very rudely told me she had already spoken to me on the phone and told me to come. They had my cell number, that no one else could have answered. The scary thing about that is that they obviously had too many dogs at one time and mixed up the owners with the dogs. Not only were they incredibly rude but they jeopardize the safety of the animals there. I would NEVER bring my dogs back here again. read more

The grooming dept is horrible, bad customer service. I spoke to Jen the " person in charge" she was rude and trying to over charge for services I never asked for. This is the last time I will bring my pet to get groomed. The 1st& 2nd times, I thought ok maybe they just busy and don't have time for my questions but this is the 3rd and final time I will be here. Something needs to be done about the staff in the grooming dept they are absolutely HORRIBLE. If Jen is the person in charge I can see why the staff is so rude. read more

I have never been in a store with worse customer service. I walked through the store for 10 minutes finally found someone and asked for help. She said "ill be right with you". Waited 5 more minutes and then went looking for someone again. Found the same person and she looked at me and said just a few more minutes and started gathering shopping carts to put away. I asked her again to help me and was told she was helping someone else. If you are wanting to purchase an animal from here, do not have an employee named Tracy help you. I had a horrible experience with this snatch of a woman today. I wanted to surprise my man with a guinea pig (such a weirdo, but he really wanted one) so, she did not even greet me or anything, she immediately pointed out how little my cage was and would not shut the f*ck up about it. She extremely hesitantly went to get paperwork and literally WOULD NOT SHUT UP about how small my cage was. I told her three times that this cage was simply temporary as my fiancé will be wanting to pick out his own. No goodbye, no thank you, no good luck, whatever. She literally just took the paperwork and walked away. I've owned SEVERAL different kinds of species of animals throughout my life, I've been a veterinary professional for years, and I am sick and tired of these minimum wage pet store employees acting the way they do. I submitted a complain to Petsmarts email, but I think I am going to go out of my way to contact the manager. I am a very busy person, I typically don't have time for this crap, but this just goes to show how horrid my experience was with this witch. read more

Paid $125 to adopt a young cat that supposedly was healthy and had all current shots/vaccinations. $500 later to fix hernia, get shots/vaccinations and flea treatment. I now have the healthy cat I thought I had purchased. Sometimes when buying an animal you get caught up in the moment and 1) overlook the obvious and 2) believe what the sales people are telling you without seeing written documentation. The staff was nice but that doesn't make up for the fraud that was perpetuated on an unsuspecting buyer. read more

The absolute worst experience of my life. I went into Pet Smart on Sunday 3/4/2018 to buy dog food to find out that I needed a prescription. I was told to get a written prescription from my vet and come back to buy the dog food. I did exactly what was asked of me on Monday. Well I arrived at Pet Smart at 8:20 after working all day and brought the dog food to the cashier and she asked me for the prescription I produced the prescription and she told me I could not buy this food. I swear it was like I was trying to buy heroin or some other illegal drug from Pet Smart. This was ridiculous. I can't believe the trouble they put me through for dog food. My poor dog was out of food and needed the hypo allergenic dog food. I understand I needed the prescription and have it in my hand to be told once again I needed to complete another step in the process. REALLY!!!!! Absolutely never going back for grooming. Never let Kimiko groom your puppy. I went to Petsmart to get my five month old Yorkie groomed. He's a very friendly guy. As soon as I went in I noticed the place was a mess. The front counter was as tiny as can be with dog hair scattered everywhere. The lady asked me what breed my dog was and I told her a Yorkie. She then tried telling me that my dog was not a Yorkie that he had to be mixed with something else. I immediately became offended but didn't want to cause a scene so I politely told her he was AKC registered and he was a pure Yorkshire Terrier. She still wouldn't listen she said ya well I think he's a maltipoo so I'm just going to put that down. I was exhausted from arguing with her so just said whatever. She asked me what kind of cut I wanted and I told her a puppy cut. I asked her if she knew how to do that and she claimed she did. She kept asking me what length I wanted and i just said I wanted it long like about 2in left of hair or longer. That's like about what a puppy cut is, longer on the face and shorter on the body. She seemed to know what I was talking about. She told me she would give me a call back when she was finished. This lady's name is Kimiko and I HIGHLY recommend to never let her cut your dogs hair. When I returned she said to go pay for it first then i can see my pup. That was a mistake. If I knew his hair cut was going to be that bad I would've never paid. I felt so bad for my puppy he had uneven hair and it was so short! Kimiko left my puppy's hair like half an inch long after I told her to leave it 2 inches or longer. She did not listen to me at all and I am never ever going back there again. I didn't say anything to her because I didn't want to be rude and I was in shock. His hair looks like it was cut in the dark. Then she tried telling me I need to get his hair cut again in 2 weeks. She also told me to get his hair cut only by her. Ya right this lady was crazy. The next time my puppy is going to get his hair cut is right before summer and definitely never by her ever again! read more
