Maybe I've stepped into the twilight zone of rudeness towards me.. This Petsmart is the closest place to me that sells my cats food. I always enjoy walking to the back to say hello to the dogs in the back and the kitties waiting to be adopted. But today the workers seemed to be done with the day. I waved to the dogs in the back and I had the worker in the back scold me, I don't think I've been scolded since I was a kid. I'm pretty sure a dog had peed in her cheerios that morning with how mad she was at my wave to the cute little dogs. Hope she's okay, because she's living my dream life of being around animals. While checking out the cashier nearly killed my crickets with shaken-cricket-syndrome. Throwing them around and under the cat food. I mean, I get they are feeder crickets but I'm sure my gecko (pickles) would like to have them make it to them alive. Anyways, weird experience today. I'll be back. but only because my cat Toulouse is 20lbs and needs a constant supply of food and my gecko needs crickets even if they were shaken. Updated a picture to add Toulouse and her cute little cowgirl outfit I bought at this petsmart.

The store was busy, but there were enough people there to make things go smoothly. I purchased I.D. tags, and the gentleman that helped me even bothered to check up as I was engraving them. Usual PetSmart, but a very efficient staff. I'm glad it's my local pet store, I'll definitely return.

(They overcharge) I've been taking my dog there for couple years. I have a small poodle they always charged me Most of the time $45 for bath today they charge me $95 then only take 25 minutes cause after I drop my dog they called me back. 30 minutes later saying it is ready and I noticed there was charging me two hours for the work.!! I complain about it, and they don't care. Nobody was helping me I'm really disappointed They don't do the work as last time They need to do better service

If you have a dog that doesn't like to stay home alone when you're at work or harasses you when you try to work from home, the Clackamas dog daycare is a great option. I highly recommend buying the pass card. It reduces the cost per day and if you buy 10 days, you get a free day. 20 days gets you two free days. Thursdays are party days with a theme, treat options, and their pic posted to the location Instagram account. I take my pup to the Doggie Daycare on most Thursdays. Grubi loves it there. He even comes home with a report card talking about his day. The staff all know him by name and he rewards their greetings with typical boxer wiggle butt excitement. Grubi comes home worn out from running around like a fiend and almost always often asleep in the car on the way home and his energy is a lot less frenetic for a couple of days after. I'm really grateful I followed Dana's suggestion to sign Grubi up for training classes. His trainer, Jake, seems to really understand Grubi's high energy, trouble focusing, fun loving personality. He makes suggestions that are individual to Grubi, which helps me to feel successful and more confident during the at home practice. Skills learned in class are reinforced when Grubi goes to daycare because training communicates with daycare/hotel about Grubi's progress.

I have enjoyed shopping at PetSmart and have always been treated in a positive way. I also enjoy taking my little dog there to get his nails trimmed and they always do a great job. The girls in the salon have always been very nice even when they are swamped.

We've been taking our pom here to get groomed for a few years now. It's always been great experiences so maybe the staff has changed slightly from seeing the last customer review? The gal we book with always does a descent job. She goes over what's needed and finishes in the time given. You get a call when they're done which is about 1.5 hours. Call in advance for appointments. I like to stay in the area so he's not let alone in the back for very long. Sometimes they give him a bandana but not always. Bailey's just the best customer and all the staff love it when he comes in!

If I could give this zero stars I would. This was the absolute worst haircut my Goldendoodle has ever had. The only reason I came here was because I had a good experience with the Bend, OR location but lesson learned they are not all equal. It was way overpriced and for terrible work. They took 4.5 hours and they charged me double for de-matting but he has no hair now so not sure what exactly they de-matted? He has gotten plenty of haircuts and I always ask the groomer to get rid of his matted spots and if they need to go short they can. I have never had a problem with this request before but this time they just shaved him bald instead of a short doodle cut. He went in looking like a doodle and came out looking like a GSP... or some other completely different breed. If it was just a communication issue about what "short" meant I would have gotten over it because hair grows back but what's even more infuriating than his haircut is that he has been depressed ever since he got home. He has never had any issues with his demeanor until now. He has literally been crying and shaking for two days, he isn't sleeping through the night, his ears keep twitching, he sits down while he walks, he randomly kicks his feet while he's laying down, he wont play with his toys, and cowers at everything now. I have no idea what they did to him but he is depressed and not his usually happy energetic self. I am disgusted by this service and wish I would have read up on reviews first because looks like I'm not alone in my experiences.

I understand having dead fish in a tank but when you're literally pulling decorations out, working around the floating corpse yet leaving the dead fish in there to swirl in a tank overpopulated with goldfish that's just careless, irresponsible and unacceptable. It would be different if she came back to take care of it after taking the decoration out but for the 15 minutes we were there that fish was just floating in there; and I'm sure it's been in there longer.

He'd only ever been with me and an occasional dog walker, and I knew a full day alone wouldn't be good for him. Then I found Mary Ellen's "Wag Along Pet Care" - a doggy daycare run out of her home. They also offer overnight boarding, which is a huge bonus since my new job requires travel. Wag Along has become Cooper's true home-away-from-home, and that's exactly what I wanted-- not some kennel tucked into a light-industrial office complex. Drop-off and pick-up are a snap, with a predictable routine that puts both of us at ease. But the best part? Mary Ellen is some kind of magical dog whisperer. Every time I pick Cooper up, the dogs in her care are all calm and content. Since starting at Wag Along, Cooper has begun wagging his tail in his sleep, something I'd never seen before. Wag Along, indeed! He's even learned to use a doggy door, which is no small feat for a dog who's reluctant to jump into new things. And Mary Ellen sends daily photos or videos, whether he's playing in the yard or lounging on the couch. Cooper has been at Wag Along for both daycare and boarding, and the experience has been wonderful. Mary Ellen is flexible, kind, professional, and obviously gifted with dogs. Cooper always comes home happy and tired... the sign of a truly great day.

This review is delayed, but I never forgot the stress and horrors Mary Ellen put me through. I had a delayed flight, and she threw a fit that I would be unable to pick up my dog in the afternoon, as originally planned, but instead that I would pick my dog up first thing in the morning. When I showed up in the morning, Mary Ellen was outside organizing her recycling and refused to make eye contact with me, or say hello. My dog, she was locked in a kennel outside the gate with all her stuff. Immediately I noticed my dog had some white sticky goo on her backside, and when I got home I immediately bathed her. When I texted Mary Ellen to ask what that was, she said it was sap. I'm not even sure if she has a tree in her backyard. I worried (and still do) that something terrible had happened to my dog. And then, she had the gall to text me back and say I owed her an extra $25!!! Exhausted and stressed, and having seen how unstable and temperamental she is, I paid her in order to not deal with her anymore. Please note - the prices on her website are not accurate. There's a handful of negative reviews on her Yelp and Google reviews. These reviews are consistent outlining her cruel behavior to pet owners entrusting their dogs in her care, and lack of patience and respect - this woman is not well. Please consider that only because the negative reviews are few, doesn't mean they're not true.

Our dog, Shaka, just loved spending time with her and the other pups she cared for. We were a little worried at first about his temperament being around others (humans and other animals) since he gets a little skittish, but he seemed to thrive there. When it was pick-up time, he was always happy and seemed to sleep very well from getting his exercise and socialize in. (He also smelled great on his longer stays. Thank you for the baths!) Jen is super flexible and communicative. We were so appreciative of this since we tend be rather spontaneous and would ask to drop him off the day before sometimes. We also would extend his stay last minute, for example, when we were taking road trips and wanted to stop for the night instead of driving all the way through a town. (Sorry and thank you so much, Jen!) Shaka has stayed over from one day to two weeks (possibly more), and each time, we've received text updates from her and even pictures of him happy with his friends. I always looked forward to those. Shaka passed away early last year, and I've been meaning to write this for a long time to say, "Thank you, Jen!" for being such a wonderful caregiver and trustworthy and friendly person overall. She…read morevisited my dog twice per day-my pup is shy and anxious and would not have anything to do with Betsy. To her credit, I did see that she was making progress with my pup, which is no easy feat. Betsy and I were discussing my dog attending her daycare because my dog does infinitely better in a group setting. In addition, it was convenient for me for obvious reasons. My dog has gone to daycare for the better part of the year that I've had her, and she thrives in that environment. Never once have I had a complaint or negative report about my pup's behavior at daycare. In this conversation, Betsy used a condescending tone to refer to my dog as "difficult ". I informed Betsy that we no longer had an interest in her services, as I don't want my dog to be cared for by someone who would speak about her in that way. However, that's not why I'm leaving this review. I'm leaving this review because of something I observed with regards to her dog daycare. What her dog daycare consists of is several dogs hanging out with Betsy's daughter, Amelia (my best guess is she's a teenager)in their living room/dining room/kitchen area all day. Betsy is typically gone all day (8-3:30) from what she told me. There is a narrow dog run, running along one side and the back of the house. The daycare dogs are let out briefly to do their business a few times a day. While I was a tenant there, I had to do my laundry on the third floor of the house, above the daycare. This required me to wade through the group of dogs each time I went up and down the stairs to switch loads from the washer to the dryer. Every single time I did laundry during the month + I lived there, I noticed that Amelia was never downstairs with the dogs during daycare time. She was always in her room with the door closed. I suppose it's possible that she went in her room each time she heard me coming, but sound carries very well in that house and I'm sure that I would have heard her moving. I would also have considered this discovery a coincidence had it not happened multiple times. My primary inspiration for making this review is the fact that the very last time it happened, while sitting on my couch reading, I heard a kerfuffle between the daycare dogs. It did not sound like a fight, just like the dogs getting rowdy. Eventually, things settled down. Shortly afterwards, I had to go upstairs and get my last load of laundry out of the dryer. While making my way through the sea of dogs, I noticed that one of them was now holding one of its front paws up and was wearing a plastic cone around its neck. I only observed the dog for a couple of minutes, but it was never once willing to be weight-bearing on that paw. I hope that the dog wasn't seriously injured. Even more so, I hope that this is the only time anything like that has ever happened to any dogs that have attended this daycare. And even more so than that, I still have hope that it all was a complete coincidence that the dogs were never being cared for when I made my trips up and down the stairs. To be transparent, Betsy and I did not have a positive dynamic as landlord-tenant. Interactions were never heated, but Betsy did tell me that she is a very sensitive person and perhaps her daughter is as well. She may have been encouraged/wanted to avoid me due to the tension between her mother and I, despite the fact that I was polite to Amelia each time I saw her and professional to her mother. Bowser's Best Buddy is far different from any dog daycare I have ever seen, and I've been taking my dogs to daycare for over fifteen years. It's basically akin to your dog being at home, hanging out with a group of friends, sometimes supervised and sometimes not, with a potty break or two sprinkled in. There are no cameras for pet parents to observe their pups. I've never considered taking my dog to a daycare that doesn't offer this and my observation here has cemented that requirement for any pet care provider we use.

I know that Betsy is partially to thank for the wonderful companion Gromit has become. Betsy is conscientious and communicative, and she is very connected to the pets in her care. She spends time training them in addition to getting them out to stretch their legs and go potty, and she adjusts her training and walks to fit the dog's needs and personality. When my pup boarded with Betsy, he was treated like family. If Gromit could write a review, he would say he loves Betsy and Amelia as much as he loves me, and he wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bowser's Best Buddy to all of his furry friends!
