Our instructor recommended for social skills to maybe switch to 1/2 or full day visits. A doggie day school. We switched to that. It's been a couple weeks now and its been good. They work hard to train him. They post videos, many of which are on line before we even pick him up. It gives us the joy of seeing how much fun he is having. I pretty much told Liam that there was no way in hell that I believed he could help the situation. I just thought it was too far gone and that you could not teach new tricks to an old dog. I have to say, that hell has frozen over!! Liam brought Bailey back after a month of training and it seems like he is a different animal, he is extremely well behaved, he does not bark..:He does not resource guard. He is a mush and so sweet. We walk him outside where he previously wanted to run down every UPS and FedEx truck and attack every passing human being, he is now minding his own business and acting like a well-behaved citizen. I really have no words, it is remarkable. I am very grateful and again so pleasantly surprised that he was able to perform this miracle for us. We actually are able to bring him out with us to restaurants, the other night he was sitting quietly in the arms of my husband at the bar at a Mexican restaurant, not making a peep and looking happy .
