"I recently brought home my precious Shih Tzu puppy, Chloe, from Puppy Plus, and I couldn't be happier! What stood out to me most was how much the store owner truly cares about the puppies. They made sure Chloe was going to a good, loving home instead of just trying to make a quick sale. Chloe is doing wonderful, and I am so grateful for such a positive experience." read more

Met the store owner today incredibly helpful and it's clear that the puppies are well taken care of. Very clean store and healthy puppies

Terrible service from a rude man who treats customers according to how they're dressed or what brand they wear. I'm sorry those dogs are in the hands of heartless people. I don't recommend it. read more

Bought a puppy. Great service. Very thorough is detail one. Smart puppy is thriving. Quality pup

Not a welcoming experience at all. I was questioned about my age and occupation simply for asking if I could see a dog up close. I understand that past experiences with younger people may have caused concerns, but there's a respectful way to ask those questions. The interaction came off as money-driven rather than customer-focused. Yes, it's a business at the end of the day, but with that kind of attitude, they won't be getting my business. I was seriously considering purchasing a dog, but will not be doing so here. read more

Avoid going in if you don't want to be treated poorly. The moment you enter, they'll start by telling you not to touch any puppies, which makes no sense if you're there to adopt one. How are you supposed to connect with a puppy without touching it? The logic is baffling, and their customer service deserves a rating below zero. For the place to improve, both the owner and the management need to be replaced. Avoid at all costs!! read more

I just want to take time to thank Puppy Plus. I bought my precious teacup Yorkie "Payton" at your store over 16 years ago. Sadly we just lost her after 16 1/2 wonderful years. She welcomed the birth of 3 children and loved them all the minute they arrived home, she gave lots of laughs and wonderful memories. She remained healthy and strong until her sudden illness and died within a week. I thank you puppy plus for selling me the best dog that we could have ever received. read more

My wife and I had been thinking about buying a dog for over a year now but hadn't really had a chance to really fall in love with one, despite visiting several puppy shops. We decided to visit Puppy Plus on a recommendation and boy was it a game changer for us! All their puppies were adorable and looked super healthy, it was so hard to chose from all the options. We knew we wanted a small to medium size dog so we focused on the Cavapoo's and immediately fell in love with two of the girls. Choosing between them was probably one of the hardest things we've ever done (took us probably 2 hours of interacting with them to decide). The staff at the store were extremely friendly and understanding, and helped us through the entore process (you can just tell they enjoy what they do) they answered all of our questions until we finally settled on this beauty!! Meet "Bella" the new member of our family. Thank you Puppy Plus, you made this process so easy, can't wait for what's next. read more

We just bought our first puppy , a Cavapoo from here! The owner, Joseph, is so kind, extremely helpful, and deeply knowledgeable on each breed. As soon as you walk in, you feel so welcomed and the staff clearly shares their expectations to keep the puppies safe and healthy. They will spend as much time with you as needed and will patiently answer every question. Joseph allowed my children to interact with a few puppies to find the perfect fit. He was so patient with our family and others that passed through the store. He has the highest quality breeders to ensure super healthy puppies. The pens and store are so clean, unlike most other local puppy stores that smell of urine and bleach. After purchasing our new family member, you leave the store worry free and fully prepared to take care of our new puppy. Thank you Joseph for a memorable experience that we will never forget! read more

Avoid this place if you don't want to be treated like a nuisance. The owner is beyond rude and makes it clear they don't want you there. The moment you walk in, you're told you can't touch or play with the puppies, which makes zero sense if you're there to buy. How are you supposed to bond with a pet you're considering taking home? On top of that, they lie about the puppies' health and age, and when confronted, they get defensive instead of taking responsibility. The whole experience was awful. For this place to improve, the owner and staff need a complete attitude adjustment--or better yet, new management entirely. Stay far away! read more

I got my first cavapoo last Thanksgiving and we are very happy with this place. The staff was extremely helpful and I really appreciated they keep puppies safe by asking you to sanitize your hands and not pick up the puppies. They will bring the puppy to a safe area for interaction. We went back yesterday and got another cavapoo puppy! Same service! They allowed me to bring in my first dog to interact with the puppy. I would highly recommend this place. I would also highly recommend Dr. Levy as well. He's been a fantastic vet for our girl! The staff is amazing too! read more

This entire establishment is incredibly friendly, helpful and still able to do a fast and reliable job. I am more than pleased with the way they treated me and my dog especially. I have a 7 month old female German Shepard and I felt like they truly cared about my dog! She was very nervous to get her nails clipped but they made sure to talk her through the process and try and calm her down instead of just pinning her down and clipping the nails as fast as they could like most groomers or vet techs would do. It's very hard to find people to trust with your pets but I am very confident in the care I receive for my fur baby at Puppy Plus! Thank you for being so comforting and welcoming! Every word you are about to read is 100% the truth. Owner Joe D is an arrogant liar and is selling unhealthy dogs and is teamed up with their veterinarian Dr. Andrew Levy of 441 animal hospital. After grieving over a year after the loss of my beloved golden doodle I decided I was ready for a new best buddy. After looking at golden doodle breeders online and the expense of having them shipped to me and all that goes along with that process, I found an adorable female doodle at puppy plus my local pet shop. When I asked Joe how much she cost without hesitation is he said $2500. I thought that was an excellent price, so I instantly made the purchase. That's when Joe looked at the papers and said she hasn't had her first set of shots yet and said I can go to Dr. Levy of 441 animal hospital tomorrow for her shots at no cost and make an appointment for her first visit at no cost. I said to Joe, you didn't tell me that when you processed my credit card. Joe then said he would take her their tomorrow and call me when she's back to pick her up. I was so excited to finally get Honey home. Joe handed me Honey's official certificate and veterinary inspection which clearly states fecal test is normal. My wife and I began to purchase the food all the necessary items for Honey that Joe recommended, and the young lady began to charge me almost $400 dollars until my wife noticed a small flyer covered on the counter that said everything that was needed for a special cost of $250. Joe did apologize for this oversight. Now this is where the nightmare begins. As soon as I brought home, she had severe diarrhea and was pooping and urinating many times during the day and night. I called 441 animal hospital for her first free checkup and the receptionist scheduled an appointment. Honey's diarrea continued right up to my scheduled appointment with Dr. Levy. Now l couldn't make this up if I tried. Honey gets examined by Dr. Levy and he changes dog food from dry to wet gives some feedback about care takes a fetal test and front desk hits me almost a $500 bill. I said my visit is supposed to be at no charge and they that I brought Honey in 1 day past the free visit. I told them you guys are the ones who gave me the appointment is this a scam or what? I refused to pay the fee and stormed out of the place and contacted Joe from puppy plus who did call them and resolved the issue. The following day I received the results from Dr Levy fetal test and the results came back that Honey had parasites. Dr Levy did give me meds at no cost but those meds didn't solve Honey's issues. It was so obvious that I was sold a sick dog and 441 animal hospital gave a phony health report on the visit when Joe took Honey there for her first vaccine. I had it with Joe and 441 animal hospital and brought Honey to a new veterinarian who examined Honey and gave her a fetal and urinary test which results showed Giardia and whipworm and Honey also has a urinary infection. New Meds were administered a new protein diet was recomended for the next 2 months and Honey is now improving. Honey is not able to receive her second set of vaccines until her issues clear up. This has cost me $675 additional dollars. I contacted Joe about all this and wanted to be reimbursed which he clearly said he will not even well he sold me a sick dog. Instead, he asked me to call him this past Thursday 5/25/2023 to meet him with my receipts at 441 animal hospital on Friday 05/26 when I called on Thursday at 4:30pm his employee said he had left for the day. I give up dealing with both of these people and this entire process has been horrendous. Puppy plus does not stand behind the guaranteed bullshit Joe offers when he lies about the sales of his dogs and 441 animal hospital is scamming pet lovers. You guys this is not the end I will be bringing a legitimate lawsuit against both businesses and publishing this story in as many places as possible to help future pet owners. Shame on you! Joe, as stated you are the liar not me. Just look at how many negative reviews you and your vet have. According to your response to my review you took the dog same day to vet for shots and they preformed fetal test with normal results within 2 hours. How can that be possible when you just stated fetal test is sent to a lab results come later or next day. Also in front of my son and wife you said to us to introduce the dog at once to the cat when we brought up our concerns but you were a typical lying salesman to make the sale instructed us to do the wrong thing which has nothing to do with selling us a sick dog. I have no reason to state any false acquisitions against you or the vet if they were absolutely not true. Every complaint that I read about you and your business you have always put the blame on the customer. I hope that people read my absolutely true review and not buy anything from your store. read more

It's interesting to read these peoples reviews about how their 20 year old daughter couldn't buy a dog and their dogs nails were cut too short. I mean a one star for that? Welcome to parkland. The owner of the store cares about these dogs and it shows. He has maybe 7-10 dogs at a time and none of them are the Frenchie breeds people pay 5000 for. Which means he knows the breeders and they aren't from mills. His one employee even told me I couldn't play with the puppy that day because she had been busy all day, that means they care not that they're trying to make you feel like you're not important get a grip. I bought my baby here, Rosie the Golden and she's a beautiful dog and was well cared for before I got her. Shame on these people, think before you leave a 1 star, this is a local parkland resident who feeds his family from this store. read more

As I walked in, I was not greeted. Instead asked my age. When I said my age, I was asked for an ID which I didn't have on me. I had a picture but she refused to look and said it could be photoshopped. I was with my sister who really wanted to look at the puppies. I left to go back to my car and get my ID. When entering again, no one was at the front and we proceeded to start looking. She comes about 2 minutes later and she said "you have to be an adult." I showed her my ID but then she wanted to kick my sister out because I wasn't her parent. The door clearly says under 18 has to be accompanied by an adult, not specifically by a parent. The employee was very rude about the entire interaction saying "it's the rules." We have had our pup for just over a year now and she still is quite timid. Considering where she came from it's no surprise. https://patch.com/new-jersey/wayne/wayne-store-bought-puppies-breeders-who-shot-dogs-kept-them-sub-freezing Our pup was bred by Shonda Madison and Madison Kennels. Glad we are giving her a much better life than what she was previously subjected to but why would anyone purchase and support anyone capable of doing that to any animal? Before you buy anything from there, do your homework, look at the lineage and make sure you arent directly supporting an abuser!!!!!!!!!! If so shop elsewhere . . . "Madison was cited in December 2015 for keeping small, short-haired dogs outside when temperatures had been as low as 29 degrees and not giving the animals adequate protection from the wind and rain." My son has allergy issues so we had to get a pet that was safe for him which is why we couldn't just rescue any dog. read more

This place is sketchy and the people lie. i took my dog here on a friday to get groomed and he looks great. That same night we noticed his tongue was black. We called and questioned it and the groomer said he "probable ate something off the ground". the next day we noticed he had a little cut on his nose which keep in mind WAS NOT THERE BEFORE and he had black stuff on the hairs next to his nose as if they tried covering it up. we called again to question it and the owner told us that my dog had a "mole" on his nose that was nicked during the grooming. we know there wasn't a mole on his nose before taking him there. We went in and the owner was was not polite. he would not let me speak, telling me the lady was crying in the back. all i was trying to say was that i understand but to US it looks like he was cut but every time i opened my mouth he talked over me. He told me to go to HIS VET and if the vet tells him yes it's a cut then he could refund me. if HIS VET says no it's a mole then he can't do anything about it. We ended up going to the vet the same day and it was also sketchy. The vet seemed a little aggressive saying he "couldn't tell if it was a cut or a mole that was nicked". and if it was a mole that he can stitch it up for us. i told him i don't want you to do anything i just want to know if it's a cut or not. he was still a little aggressive about it. Personally i feel like the groomer called the vet saying "these people are coming to see you this is what i want you to tell them". We just left it alone because they're working together. But don't trust this place. read more

My dog has been getting groomed here for as long as I can remember. MARCY does a superb job, I don't even have to tell her what to do she just knows what would look best for my little yorkie. Recently she had seen a new groomer and he shaved most of my dog's hair off and it was troubling because she looked completely different than what she has gotten for years. obviously i was not very happy. I put a before/after picture up (which is why this review is edited) and immediately the owner himself contacted me. I didn't expect that, most businesses nowadays don't care as much about customer service. He saw that i really love seeing Marcy and told me to come in ASAP to get my dog's hair fixed as much as possible. So i did. She looked perfect, hair a little short still but Marcy did her best to work with what she had I am giving 5 stars because the customer service i had was above and beyond. The fact that the owner reached out to me to make sure that I was happy with the grooming services speaks volumes. Not only that, i live in boca. i have a place next door to my house. I would make the drive any day to get as great of an experience as i typically do and even more so now. Thanks again!!! Will continue being a regular read more

My dog came out of grooming with an eye closed shut, a cut in his ear and his derrière shaved so close that he was up all night scratching, scooting and licking at it. I called and they said he may have gotten hair in his eye from the blow-dry(?) I asked them what to do and they said they had an account with a local vet (?) I had to go to work so my elderly dad (83) brought my dog in to the vet for a shot of cortisone, eye ointment, and the doc said he did "not see a cut" in my dog's ear (I have attached pic of the cut he said was not there).... So far, no call backs, no apologies from them, no courtesy on the phone, no refund or responsibility taken outside of the vet tx (required as a result of their terrible handling and grooming). This is sad and unfortunate, as past experiences we have had there with our dogs, were ok. Not looking for miracles, just decent treatment for our pets that we entrust to these establishments. This type of unprofessionalism showed us the type of person the shop owner(and manager, Kaitlyn) are... not dog lovers, just bad business people. I DO Not recommend-go elsewhere if u want your pup in good hands! read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The staff here is completely useless and rude. An old lady at the front seemed like she truly hated her job and gave me such attitude when I came in to see the puppies. My boy friend and I wanted to play with a puppy as we are interested in purchasing one. I was asked if we will be buying one today, I said maybe not today but we forsure are interested as we would want to see which puppy we would like. I was told by someone "in the back" that we can't play with a puppy unless we buy one today. Wtf? So how are we supposed to see which puppy we like or if we even want one if we can't play with one for not even 5 mins lol. Those poor puppies get no attention it's sad.
