Went in to pick up a brand new prescription food for my 13 y/o fur baby, and unknowingly needed an invoice to pick it up. The vet gave the food to me for free, so I didn't have an invoice. Flustered; I was trying to find proof of prescription, and eventually found proof. Larissa was very helpful and gracious through my angst, as I was worried I wouldn't have been able to get the food. This location doesn't have the friendliest staff. I have been here in 3 separate occasions and still always the same. I did not purchase the other 2 times I could not deal with the employees. They are focused on their tasks. They may answer a question but not suggest or even walk you to the item. It's very different from the other locations I've shopped. Not sure if I'll return. I would hope this location would be better with custom service. Shelves were empty and parking lot was as well. The lady mentioned today was a slow day- I'm yeah I see why.... My pups love their bather, always excited to see her. Jilly P always greets them with enthusiasm and cheer. They always come he so soft and smelling good. They wont let me clip thair nails at home but Jilky takes goid care of them and they come home trimmed. I know my fur babies are taken care of when I book an appointment with Jilly! I am sorry to leave, but I just can't take it anymore. I have had my older dog groomed here for a couple of years. The puppy has been groomed here from the start - about a year. I have nothing against the groomers or the store manager, but the grooming salon is overdue for an enlargement and good cleaning. It is just too small for the number of groomers employed at this site. Just getting in and out of the salon is a hassle, but it is so crowded - it always looks like a mess and unkempt, and it smells. I have chosen a new salon that is cleaner and less crowded; as a result, the dogs are given the attention needed for the groomer to do a good job, and they are much calmer when I pick them up. That can't happen at Petsmart - it's too chaotic- too many dogs and humans in a tiny room. I have never known the salon not to be busy, so I hope Petsmart gets the message and understands the need for this store, especially the grooming salon, to be up-sized and up-graded. Meanwhile, I have moved on to a cleaner and less chaotic grooming salon for my two furbabies. read more

Do NOT take your animals here for grooming. Staff is very unprofessional, uncaring, and rude. Some of the things we experienced: Calling at 10am the morning of to reschedule to an earlier time, shitty attitude for arriving when we agreed upon on the phone (1-1:30, I got there at 1:15, original groom was scheduled much later in the evening) blatantly lying to my face, and basically refusing to groom my pet, yet offering to reschedule with a different groomer at a later time (like we previously had) or earlier in the morning. If you didn't want to groom my pet, then instead of begging for us to come in earlier, just cancel it altogether. It would've saved me the hassle of re-arranging my entire schedule, driving all the way there for an hour in heavy traffic, dealing with the groomer's bad attitude, and driving all the way home for another hour in traffic, with my still ungroomed pet. Looking at the reviews now, I'm honestly relieved that the groomer didn't touch my pet - looks like lots of pets have gotten injured or the job just turns out horribly. We found a different place that is more than happy to groom him and trimmed him up ourselves for the time being. read more

I have ALWAYS been treated so well in this store until tonight. I even had a receipt to prove I was matched within the same week (I understand certain deals etc.) but the deal ran through October 1st (today). After tonight , I will come here only on as an need basis which is so unfortunate because it so close to home & will no longer come here to purchase for our plants, fish supplies or dogs. I am so disappointed in our experience. Never have I seen anyone turn away money like I experienced tonight. Fish ladies (whom I have experienced) - this does NOT apply to you. Mojo jojo is doing so much better! He's swimming great and comes up to me when he heard me walking over by his tank and comes and says hello and that right there makes it worth it. He even feeds from my tongs now! I use to have to set it his beta leaf for him to eat! Such an amazing improvement. I'm still waiting for corporate to contact me. I will be calling normal customer service tomorrow. Also, on one of my betta feeds I saw some purchase 19 of them and then resells them in their pet shops and those employees are completely aware of that but yet I can't purchase multiple on over 3 months span. They had 5 techs in the grooming station texting without looking up to check us in, during our check in they gave us a lot of attitude for no reason at all. Tracy saved my fish my big orange tabby jumped on my fish tank lid while I was cleaning it at 8:39 pm and the closest PetSmart that had the lid in stock was 24 minutes away I called in panic and she told me to pay for it online and she would pass it to me through the doors and when I arrived at 9:04 she had it all ready for me and thanks to her my fish will not jump out and my cats won't get in thanks again Tracy we will be back read more

Got my dog groomed here. Staff wasn't very friendly. I got the deluxe package which included a bow or banana but my dog didn't have one upon pickup. I left her at 2:30 pm and she was only ready at 5 pm. 2:30 hr to give a bath seems like a long time beyond what is necessary. but the worst was not the waiting time, when I picked it up she was very wet!! The neck it was super wet and in the back were still several areas that were also not very dry. Not drying a dog properly due to skin problems, this is the most essential part of the post bath. I got a hamster from here only 11 months ago, I was told he was roughly 3 months old when I adopted him and he seemed healthy and happy. I bought many things for him off of Amazon and Etsy since PetSmart doesn't have proper hamster cages, wheels, or hides. He was very happy and lived a good life in his large wooden cage with plenty of enrichment and homemade food. Today he passed away rather quickly, I came home only a few days ago to him constipated and his belly swollen, so I gave him fruits and veggies to help pass it and called the vet. The vet could only take him in for $200 and I couldn't afford it, they told me from his symptoms and how fats he was declining that he likely had worms or liver problems. He was quickly dehydrated and lethargic to the point he was still breathing but wasn't moving, then he passed away. I believe I gave him a great life and all the things he could ever wish for an more, he trusted me and he was happy. But in all, don't buy pets PetSmart or places like it. They breed for quantity and not quality, and most of their animals only live for a short time due to health issues they're bred with. Chain stores like this one have plenty of workers that I know care for the animals but the store itself is the issue. Please look to buy from licensed breeders if you are looking for a hamster, Guinea pig, reptile etc. they will have a much healthier and long life if you do. read more

I was in a great mood heading into get our sweet puppy groomed but quickly got into another world when I walked through the doors of the grooming salon at PetSmart. The two women greeted me with harsh behavior on being a few minutes late, no smiles and early judgements about my dogs behavior, who could not be sweeter. I asked for a cut that would require a bit more thought and time but they quickly told me all they could do is shave her down due to some matting on her tummy. I should have known to turn around when our intuitive pup was frightened to be left behind. I am now taking the dog to the vet as since bringing her home she has been licking/chewing her paws and shaking her ears. They have lost my business and we won't be returning. read more

This review is for the grooming services at Petsmart. I took my dog in for a bath and cut this past weekend and I am livid to say the least. I should have known from the last few times I took her there. She used to be fine going to the groomers, but the last several times, she shakes badly and does not want to go into the Petsmart grooming salon. I literally have to drag her by the leash or pick her up. Needless to say this last visit will be the last time I take my dog there. After we got home, I went to pick her up under her arms like I always do to give her cuddles and she yelped and cried like a banshee. So I look at her underside and see two huge gashes on both sides of her chest. They literally took clippers and shaved her skin off!!! Not razor burn but literally took out a chunk of her flesh! Not only that, the groomer did not even mention it or apologize! I paid $54 plus a $10 tip for them to basically maul my dog and scar her to getting groomed! If you care for your pets, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE! The pictures are 3 days old so they have healed somewhat with ointment and I was too angry to even write a review until today. I will not mention the groomers name, but I'm pretty sure she knows who she is. You can't have cut my dogs flesh that deep and not have noticed because I am 100% sure she cried and was bleeding heavily before you cleaned it and tried to cover it up! read more

I took my 50 pound rescue in and had him bathed and brushed with Kurrisa at the Lynnwood store yesterday and I was very impressed. She went the extra mile with Tucker and explained what she did and how he responded. Their online scheduling system works well, allowing you to complete the check in process ahead of time, and their pickup notification comes via phone call and text. I also figured out (too late) I could have paid through the text notification as well and saved a trip to the busy cashier in the store. I should also mention the front desk staff was very helpful and efficient as well, despite dealing nicely with a clueless customer ahead of me. read more

This is for the groomer. The people were nice but I have to give it 1 star and warn people not to take their pets here to be groomed unless for just a wash. I have a poodle and wrote in my notes and explained fro the groomer about my dogs skin tag on her cheek. They said everything would be ok and then when they called they said they cut it by accident! There was blood on her face and she was actively bleeding! She would not stop pawing at it and I couldn't get into the vet to have them look at it because they were booked. Well within a week and a half it was VERY infected and had to go to an emergency vet....the groomers again were nice but I think they just might be inexperienced and not qualified when it comes to avoiding things like skin tags. Tried to do a return. Yes the crate was dusty. She claimed unsaleable condition. No ma'am. It's called dusty. Then she claimed they don't sale puppy pads that I bought a few months ago and said I'd have to drive all the way to issaquah to return. No ma'am that's not how customer service works. She also tore my box trying to open it and then claimed not saleable condition. Also brought in a brand new bag of cat litter and it suddenly "had a hole" when she took it out of the cart. A brand new cat bag. So she gave me no money back. Repeated herself like I was an idiot. Oh and she's the "new version" of a store manager. I guess finding good employees is tough nowadays. I will NOT be returning and my friends and family won't either. Good job Nicole. Keep up the sub par level work. Update! I went to another store and they took ALL the returns and stated that is not the behavior their managers are trained to behave like and apologized for her attitude and manner. Very unprofessional in the groomer area and thank god the last GM left as she was rude as well. We would always take our pups to Courtney Morgan. She yelled at us and lied to her GM on what happen and that GM took her side. They booked us for both our pups and later lied about it saying we only booked for one. We always took them together as they always took so long and we didn't want our pups alone. The average time for groomer our teacups now is 20 to 30 mins each. They would have them 4 to 6 hours. Funny thing is we always bought Courtney gift cards around the holidays. She is very rude, would jerk animals around and yell. I wonder what she would do behind close doors. This review is for the grooming center. We have had our Pomeranian, Oliver groomed here twice. Both times by Sarah. I absolutely LOVE her. She does such an amazing job with him. I picked him up today and had the opportunity to overhear her talking with another dogs parents. She was explaining to them how their sweet boy did with his grooming and I was more than impressed with her gentle and patient care of them. The other gal who helped us today (I didn't get her name-she had very blonde hair and light complexion) was sweet with Oliver as well. These folks work so hard and I'm sure it takes a special person to groom animals all day. Even though they were so busy, I didn't feel rushed at check out. I appreciate the wonderful care of our baby and will always ask for Sarah to care for Oliver. We appreciate you Sarah! You are a gem. Cost for this was around $70 for the best package they offer (deep clean- I believe they refer to it as the furbinator, with anal glad cleaning and nail grinding). We tipped her $30 (my husband failed to tip her last time so I gave her extra). Oliver got a short cut for summer and he looks amazing! No nicks from the clippers and his nails and ears look perfect. She said he was a good boy but I'm sure he was a stinker! read more

I've been taking my dog for grooming here for several years. During my last visit, my dog and I were treated very rudely by the the groomer at the desk. She nitpicked about us being a few minutes late, and then made a rude comment to her colleague about my dog being hers to deal with. The shop was messy and the floor was covered in unswept dog hair. When I picked up my pup from Amy the groomer, my dog's haircut was uneven across her body and face. One side of her head was groomed longer than the other. Everything was uneven. It looked as if she had not been not bathed and when I got her home it was clear that her ears and tail had not been brushed. It was not even close to being worth the $84 charge. This will be the last time I trust my dog with PetSmart. read more

Very unprofessional management. I walk in to the store to buy something off the register, I give the cashier a $100 bill. She says I need to call a manager. Manager comes in with an attitude saying "I know you are buying it to break the $100 bill and not because you need it so we are not a bank you can go to a gas station and that $100 could be fake" he finishes his sentence and walks off. Not even wanting to finish the conversation with me, I call him back to finish talking to me. I asked him did u even look at it to see its fake or no? Customer service sucks! Staff didn't greet me or acknowledged my presence when my dog and I were standing in front of her, until I spoke up to tell her that I have an appointment at 1:00 pm and I'm here on time. I waited for about 1:10-1:15 pm to see a groomer finally come out. The groomers did NOT know how to interact with my dog. They approached him in a bossy or demanding manner that my dog disliked. He became very agitated and uncooperative. They really didn't know how to make my dog cooperative. I offered ideas to calm my dog down, they rejected my ideas. Subsequently, they refused providing the service to my dog. Before coming to this Petsmart grooming salon, I took my dog to a very busy grooming facility in Greenwood, where my dog had no issue. An employee there was able to place a loop around my dog's neck to get him ready for a bath. My dog is a super friendly dog. I just have him for a month and he is my first dog I ever owned. I'm very disappointed that the staff there don't know how work with my dog where other busy grooming places are able to handle him. read more

Today I brought my dog in for a grooming and wash. When my son picked her up she had a hard time opening her eyes and they were red and irritated. I came home a little later and noticed it as well, so I called this location and asked what was used on her so that we could let the vet know. While speaking with someone (no name given), I explained the situation and apparently she found it amusing. She said she couldn't tell me off the top of her head but did not offer to put me on hold to check, then laughed. I was just flabbergasted and figured she didn't care and I wasting my time. I guess maybe I didn't emphasize my concern well enough? But for her to laugh about it is just unprofessional and inappropriate. We've been at this location four times already and service has always been above par. Call me sensitive but when it comes to my pets I'm a little protective, and especially don't find humor in my pet being uncomfortable or in pain. read more
