Bald spot on head!

I will never let Kimberly W groom my Yorkies ever again! She did a TERRIBLE grooming job on my little guy Baxter, I asked for a Yorkie Teddy Bear cut and asked her to go a little shorter on his face and over his eyes. I got a shaved head with a bald spot from where she went to low with the clippers and a a big chunk of hair missing on his left ear. When I explained that this wasn't what I asked for, she gave me attitude and said "That's what you asked for" and then I explained to her that is NOT what I asked for and that I wasn't happy at all with the haircut. She then paged for a manager and toof him that we needed to do a Puppy Credit or refund, she never once apologized for the bad haircut and continued on to the next customer. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received at PetSmart Grooming and she will NEVER groom either of my boys again. The only reason I gave 1 was because the system wouldn't let me give zero

I made a grooming appointment for my dog since he's been having some dingleberry issues due to some nerve pain and him being scared to squat to poop. He just received grooming the month prior and his coat was still fairly loose and clean since he basically lives outside and hates being indoors. Not to mention the week prior I gave him a bath myself to get some of the poop out of his fur since he was now medicated with pain killers after a vet visit and was pooping like normal again but still had some left over poop. I take him in and the groomer says he has some matting deep in his fur and I explain the above information and she asks if it's okay to spot shave if needed and I agree since that can be an issue over time but I wasn't expecting it to be an issue since he was recently groomed and I gave him a bath even more recently. They called after a few hours and said he's all bathed and they're gonna start combining him out etc. And asked about trimming him down if needed and I agreed and said we talked about spot shaving him if it was needed so that's fine to do if they needed to still. I come to pick him up after I get the call and he's completely shaved. No spot shaving, just straight shaved down. And the person helping me has no clue what happened since she just got there. I show her before pictures to show her why I was confused and explained to her as well that he was just groomed the month prior. All in all, there no way in hell he needed to be shaved and wasn't even that dirty to end up like he did.

With a puppy, it's time to shop! PetSmart is normally a little far to drive, but they have the selection of dog foods and supplies that the grocery store doesn't offer. It had been awhile since shopping there, and I was impressed by the high quality brands they have for dogs and puppies. Cats too. I spent some time browsing different brands before making a purchase. Wellness, Nulo, Merrick, Solid Gold and many top of the line foods are available in their well stocked isles. They have a nice selection of canned foods, along with collars, leashes, shampoos, chew bones and toys. Everything you need at a good price. It's worth the drive.

I have been taking my dachshunds to Darian for years and I'm always so impressed with the personal attention she gives them. My senior fur baby needs extra attention to his paw pads and can't stand on his hind legs very well. Darian is so patient and works around him so he's comfortable. I recommend her to all my friends and family. She is THE BEST!!

I give this Petsmart a 3.5. I agree with everyone that it's nice to have the Banfield hospital in the store and I like the kitty cats for adoption in the front. They have a really good variety in the selection and there are some moderately good prices on some items, but I do find that a lot of the food is pricey and I've read some of the labels and a lot of the food is exactly the same, just more pricey on some. They do have the type of food that some want with the organics and etc. There pet beds and cages are a pretty good price too. And there are so many doggy treats & nagahides. It's also nice to be able to take your pet in with you. Although since my daschund is so sexy, she practically get's raped everytime we go in. So now I take my male doxie in for her protection. They have a good selection of fish and birds and cat foods. Makes me want to get a kitty cat. They even have doggy doo bags just in case your little lumps make little lumps in the grass. I only gave 3.5 stars because I can find a lot of the same items elsewhere for less money. Also, I had a hard time finding someone to help me when I need help in the dog section.

I had Darian groom my cat and my dogs. She's AMAZING! I would not go anywhere else. My animals are never afraid when they go in.

Writing this post because I am highly disappointed with the grooming service my dog received today. This was her first time going to a groomer because she is terrified of new places. However, she was actually really good and even bonded to the lady who took her back so I felt really comfortable with her being there. Four hours later, I went to pick her up. The ladies inside were different ladies from the morning. When they brought my dog out, she looked way more terrified than when she went in. Which was weird to me because she was really pretty calm going in. She was so nervous the lady who brought her out asked me to put my dogs bandana & stuff on. I told her she wasn't aggressive or reactive in any way but still proceeded to do it. As I was, I noticed she still kind of smelt like dog and not of any "spritz" or shampoo that they say they use. When I got home I inspected her more and realized how disappointing this whole thing really was. My dogs nails are TORE UP. Splitting, cracking, uneven and some look irritated already. She also has a spot of dry blood on the whites of her paws so I don't doubt they made her bleed. She had dandruff (I think) on her coat & now she is limping probably because her nail beds hurt her. So in total I paid $75 for my dog to be hurt.

Friendly Grove Resort & Spa for Dogs

I was a long-time customer of Friendly Grove and trusted them with my dogs for years…read more Unfortunately, that trust was broken after a grooming appointment where one of my doodles came back unable to walk. My husband had to physically carry him out of the vehicle. When I contacted the business, I spoke with Maddy at the front desk, who reassured me that my dog had not sustained an injury while in their care. However, I was not present and was never shown any video footage or documentation to support that claim, which left me with serious concerns about what actually happened. Months later, I received a brief email asking me to update my information in their portal. I responded honestly and shared how unsettled I still felt about the previous incident. Shortly after, a staff member called and said they would be happy to schedule grooming appointments for my dogs since they hadn't been in for a while. However, when I arrived to pick them up, I was told that my dogs were not actually scheduled for grooming but that they "accommodated them anyway." I was then informed that Friendly Grove would no longer be grooming dogs at all. The entire interaction felt incredibly confusing and dismissive, and it came across as though they were simply trying to push us out as customers. They offered a $120 credit for that service and essentially told us to find another groomer. My dogs had been going there for years, and $120 doesn't even cover the cost of a single grooming service. After years of loyalty, the lack of transparency, accountability, and communication was extremely disappointing. I expected far better treatment from a place we trusted with our pets for so long.

Friendly Grove is very clean, the staff have always been nice to work with, and Tilly comes home tired when she has a day of play. I would recommend Friendly Grove to anyone looking for a place to leave your canine family member.

I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Most loving dog owners know how hard it is to find…read morea grooming salon you can truly trust. I found K9 Grooming through Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We drive 30 minutes to get here and I won't lie, the salon is pricey. It usually costs me around $300 with trip for a standard Aussie and mini Aussie regular groom. But it is absolutely worth it. My dogs are my babies. We have a 6-year-old Aussie we've had since he was a puppy, and we recently added our rescue mini Aussie who is now 8. Our rescue has extreme anxiety from her past trauma, including living in a hoarding situation. The team here treats both of our dogs like family. I've never once worried about the way they're cared for. The salon is spotless. Anytime I walk into a grooming place that smells like urine or feces or is chaotic with constant barking, it's an instant red flag for me. K9 Grooming is completely different. It's clean, calm, and you can even watch your dogs being groomed so there's no mystery about how they're treated. Recently our neighbor warned us about fleas in the area, so I called K9 as a concerned pet mom. They were so helpful. They told me they'd start with a regular bath and, if they found any fleas, they'd do the treatment and call us so we could prep the house. Sure enough, they found a few a went forward with the flea bath. They provided me with helpful information and next steps. I sincerely appreciate the level of care, transparency, and customer service the staff provide. I could never take my dogs anywhere else after coming here.

Australian shepherds have very thick double coats, she requires grooming at least every six weeks. From the front desk, all the way back to the groomers they're always so professional, and Mila is always so extremely eager and happy to go there; that says so much. I've had my fair share of very bad grooming experiences, with this very dog. K9 Design Grooming Salon has changed my perspective and Mila's perspective on grooming experiences. We used to live extremely close to the Salon, but we recently bought a house in Olympia and still make the drive! We love K9 Design Grooming!!
