I took my cockapoo here for a bath, haircut, and nail trim. I liked the finished cut. What I didn't like was that my poor dog was there all day, from 10 or 11 am until 6:30 or 7 pm. When I dropped him off, Angela said that their one other groomer called in sick and will be done by 4 pm. I came back at 4 to pick him up, but they kept delaying his finish time by 30 minutes to an hour every half hour. When I finally picked him up, the first thing he did was go to the bathroom since he hasn't been out in so many hours. I'm used to him being in and out in 2 hours maximum. Because of this, I won't be bringing my dog back here. I felt terrible he had to spend all day at the groomer. read more

They took fantastic care of my puppy! They are a bit hard to schedule with, the owner does not schedule clients herself but has a receptionist. They are very friendly! They take care of your pup like it's their child. This is a small family owned business, sometimes they get very busy but they got my pup in and out quickly. read more

The good news is the price was good and so was the haircut. Basically a shave. The not so good news was the groomer couldn't extract my dogs glans which surprised me since he gets groomed (at a different location) and they never had a problem. I took him to the Vet to complete the job for an additional $25.00. The location itself is not clean and there were buckets of dirty towels laying around and the floor full of dog hair. read more

We took our 6 month old Goldendoodle puppy Sandy to Always Pawsabilities yesterday for her first grooming. We called several local places and either they were booked up for months or didn't want to attempt a high energy Goldendoodle puppy. I am so happy we found this place on Yelp. When we called to schedule the appointment they assured us that they are great with these crazy little dogs. They found us an appointment just 3 days away. Check out the before and after pictures. She had SOOOOO much hair before that no matter how often we brushed her she was getting matted. They warned us that she would look dramatically different with the cut we had asked for. Sandy movers her new style. She is much cooler for the summer and best of all, no more mattes. These guys are super friendly, timely, and charge a fair price. Pros: she did a really good job on my doodle's face, which I think is the hardest part to get right. The body looked good and was the length that I wanted. She took time to listen to me. I left instructions and pictures and I felt listened to. Cons: before I was able to schedule an appointment I called multiple times to get info and try to schedule. No one ever answered the phone and it usually took days to get back to me. So scheduling took a long time because it was phone tag. When I dropped off my dog the instructions I brought said that I wanted legs cut with clippers one guard longer than the body. She told me that scissor cutting her legs would look much better. It was more money, but I assumed she she would doing the same length but with scissors so I said ok. She told me that she only had my dog and another dog to do that day, but to pick her in 5 1/2 hours. I wasn't expecting it to take that long and I had a lot going on that evening, but I could make it work. I arrived five minutes early to pick up my dog and she said that she was just trying to call me and that she isn't quite done and it would be another 15 minutes. I was a little short on time, but I said ok and went and waited in my car. I guess because my dog saw me, it made it really difficult to finish her. After waiting a half an hour I was late for another appointment so I had to go and get my dog. She said she was 95% done on the legs. I said that I really just had to get her and go. So I noticed right away that the legs were a lot longer all over than I wanted, but I was super late so I had to take her and go. After I got home that night and really had a chance to look at her, I was not happy the legs were that much longer than the body. It wasn't what I asked for. I have tried calling her twice and asking if she can just run some clippers down my dogs legs so she can look how I wanted. It was been a week and she hasn't called me back. I am going to take that to mean that she doesn't want my business. And on top of all of it she told me that my puppy hadn't gone potty all day and that might be why she was so squirrelly when I picked her up. My pup had been there 6 hours!!! read more

When I called her up she got me right in and I brought My dog in my dog is very important to me he's is a 3 year old Pomchie his very beautiful very expensive and very small I discussed what I wanted I told her please do not trim my dogs hair anywhere except on his belly around his Peeer She even discussed with me how you shouldn't trim dogs that have double coats and promised me no trimming I was satisfied that she knew what she was doing and my dog will be OK. When I came to pick up my dog At first didn't notice but then after loading him in the car and driving off his ears looked different As I look closer I notice she had chopped all around his ears on the top left big chop marks in his hair I was so shocked I didn't know what to say or think he had a long beautiful hair with white tips on top of his ears and now they'll never come back or never grow back. My husky is a lot of work given his double coat and constant shedding but they make him look so handsome for his monthly grooms. They have also been amazing when it comes to tracking his various skin issues which have helped me coordinate care with his vet (e.g., hot spots, allergy reactions). Thanks to the tenderness that she receives from Angela, she comes home happy and relaxed. And the grooming is first rate (Shibas are heavy shedders with double coats.) I love this groomer! Angela is awesome and super accommodating. I have a very anxious long haired cat who sometimes needs some trimming on his tummy and/or potty area, and Angela has very very fair prices and always schedules my kitty early on in the day before there are dogs coming in. I can really tell by the way she is with animals (and with the way my timid boy is comfortable with her) that she truly loves them and is providing the best care. I wish I would've found Angela when I first got Sammy. I had been taking him to a different groomer, not far from her. Due to the COVID-19 my previous groomer wasn't able to take Sammy for over a month! (understandable) I found Always Pawsabilities and was thrilled that Angela could take Sammy the next week :) She was very sweet and asked the right questions as to what I wanted from the grooming service.
