Ashley, the manager, was not helpful during my visit. I came in to buy treats for my cat and saw a sale sign listing them at $0.97. I double-checked to make sure the product I picked matched the sign, and it did. However, when I went to the register, the item did not ring up at the advertised sale price. I politely asked Ashley if she could honor the price shown on the sign, since it clearly matched the product, but she refused. This was very disappointing and felt like poor customer service. During my dog's grooming I was told they clipped one of her skin tags and couldn't continue the grooming. I could not find where she was clipped but this morning while at Jupiter Animal Hospital being groomed, I received a call from the groomer that she was clipped on her ear and it's infected. This is the second incident. I will not be going back there ever again. read more

Took my Lakeland Terrier Gracie several weeks ago for a haircut. It was suggested that I use Taylor to groom her. Taylor did an excellent job. I was extremely pleased. The staff was very pleasant and kind to my dog who is very shy. Unfortunately the grooming he got was very disappointing. he is a cockapoo who was just shaved from head to toe. He has about 1/2 of an inch on the top of his head , not a good look. I know it will grow back but the prices at Pet Smart are the same as my normal groomer but the end result was awful . This isn't our usual PetSmart but our kitties eat some specific wet food that has been hard to find at our local PetSmart. I checked online and this location had some in stock so we made the drive specifically to get our kitties their food. The store itself seemed kind of dark for a PetSmart and a bit smaller than the ones we normally go to. However it's laid out like the others making it easy to navigate. We quickly found the food which was in stock however they only had 5 cans. They did have some more wet food that was similar and since the regular food is so hard to find we stocked up on that. Got to keep the kitties happy! The service was quick and we were in and out in a few minutes. Make sure you stop by the adoption area if you are looking for a cat or dog to adopt. Grooming...: Bad vibes and energy as soon as I walked in groomer room. I've taken my dogs to the pet smart off Donald Ross but they were all booked so I thought I would give this location a try. One of my dogs has a chronic leg injury and is going to possibly have surgery tomorrow. Her knee cap is out of socket and has been that way for a couple years. When I was letting the nice (blonde hair) groomer know, the manager (lady with dark hair) chimed in and said "we can't groom her bc grooming is stressful and we can't be responsible for any dislocations". I said she's an easy dog and you can look at your records in the pet smart database. And I just stopped talking at that point and walked out with both my dogs. Again. Bad vibes. Didn't feel good about it as soon as I walked in, so yea it worked out. read more

tried adopting a kitten td, coke to find out half of them are a pair meaning you have to adopt 2 of them. Not only that but it's through a third party. when someone adopts a puppy do they take every brother or sister or dad that is there? no. they are doing animals an injustice to not be adopted in my own opinion. read more

Decent PetSmart at a good location. This PetSmart is smaller compared to other PetSmart stores. It's kinda like a 'Neighbor Walmart.' Small, they have brands but they don't sell everything like a Super Walmart. Note: If they don't sell a specific brand of items that you want, you can have your items shipped to this store for free and pick them up. I didn't use the Groomers or the Pet Veterinary so I can't write a review about that at the moment. As a plus, this PetSmart is right next to a Publix if you ever are getting your Pet groomed, you can run errands nearby and by the time you come back the groomer is done. read more

We have completed our third training class at this location with Colleen. We did Brain Games this time. Its a nice break for the dogs as they really get to choose what games they like to play. I really wanted to do Brain Games because they claimed you will teach your dog to read. I was skeptical, but low and behold, my dog can now read his commands. My bro-in-law was over and we told him our dog could read, to say he was skeptical is an understatement. He kind of freaked our when the dog was following written instruction. He even took our his phone to record it when he held up the cards. Our dog enjoys playing the brain games at home and it is really fun for us too. I recommend both the class and Colleen as a trainer. Unfriendly staff. Would not let us go in to the cat room without filling out applications first and asking if we planned on adopting then. Bearded dragons were adorable and wanted to see one but she said we can't even touch them and when I asked why she just snapped POLICY. My vet phoned in a prescription for my cat's food because it would not arrive at their office before I ran out. Petsmart charged 22% more than my vet for the same bag of food. When asked about it, I was told that there wasn't anything that could be done since they could not compare it to an online purchase. DISGRACEFUL! Bye, Bye, Bye Petsmart. This store lost a customer today, I had an appointment at 9 am for today for a haircut. On Thursday they called and asked if I could come in then, I told them no that i was coinciding my appointment with Easter pictures. Then yesterday i recieved a text saying my appointment was now for 12:40 today. No problem. Then this morning I recieved a text saying the appointment has been Canceled. I called and spoke with the manager and she said that they changed my appointment time because the stylist was over booked but had no reschedule listed on her list for 12:40 so now no, haircut and no pictures. The staff member rudely said that she wasn't going to sell me a rat cause I was going to feed it to my snake. I had my cat groomed there. She is a mix of not sure what, ( we found her in our back yard, someone just dumped her) but her hair is somewhat long around her neck and tail. I asked for her to get a bath, brushed with the anti matting brush and hair thinner, nails clipped, blow dry and paws trimmed. I have the most docile sweetest cat who just sits there and takes it. When I picked her up she was soaking wet. They didn't brush her AT ALL, and she spent the next four hours licking herself because she was wet. Which lead her to suffer gagging on hair balls. I paid $52.00 for this. She didn't even smell like a nice shampoo! Never again. read more

This store is the worst excuse for groomers. My dog is a 5 year old maltipoo that gets very nervous during grooming. He may growl and act like he'll bite but he doesn't. He has never bitten a groomer or anyone else in the past and I doubt he ever will. I was asked to pick him up because they were afraid he would bite them. Listen if you're going to grooming school to groom good dogs and think you're never going to come across a nervous animal, get another profession. He is a sweet dog and thank God, my old groomer suggested another person that was just as good as she was and my dog is groomed & happy. read more

I've been to countless Petsmarts all over the nation and I've never had a bad experience in any way but today's visit at this particular location was exceptional. Every employee was happy, social, and very helpful. I even had a really complicated return for which I had lost the receipt (flew out of my convertible lol) and it was for Halloween costumes which are now on clearance and probably cost a quarter of what I originally paid for them. I immediately called the original location where I made that purchase (Palm Beach lakes) and they made it seem hopeless even with my pet perks phone number. Although they were nice about it I was just disappointed that there wasn't more effort in resolving my problem. I was prepared for the worst I had my transaction number from my Amex and even had a picture of every item that I purchased that day. Today I happened to be in Jupiter and had the returns with me so I took a chance on this location and sure enough they were able to pull up the entire transaction and refund me the exact amount. The young lady that helped me was amazing I wish I got her name so I could inform the company about her excellent service. She even gave me a detailed explanation about their friends and family sale. I then got trapped there because of a crazy rainstorm so I proceeded to shop and speak to several employees about all kinds of things and had a great time doing so. I live on Singer Island so this is not the closest location to me but definitely worth the extra time to shop here from now on.
