Dawson
Klarissa C.

With our furbaby Dawson we had bark busters come train. He was demanding at playtime and sometimes jumped on people. It was very important to us that he was not touched or traumatized in any way. After the trainer Mark left Dawson has been listening to everything! He is so smart and the funny thing is they taught us how to speak dog and be the alpha and that is all it took. Dawson is still loving as ever. Everyone is happy in our household!

I rescued Milo a year and a half ago. He is a sweet dog, however, he began having severe separation anxiety if I left the house. I tried several exercises when didn't work. Other unwanted behaviors began to surface and I realized that I was not communicating well with him and he believed he was in charge! I called Bark Busters in the hopes of a solution. Karen started by having me realize how dogs REALLY communicate. That was an eye-opener! Then she began teaching me how to communicate and set "rules". I immediately began to see changes in Milo's response! I was blown away!! However, I was still worried about the separation. I had a crate that was folded and put away. Karen made me realize that he needed the crate as his own safe place to be. We set the crate up, made it nice and comfy and put some treats in there and in he went. That also shocked me because I tried the crate when I first got him, but failed miserably, and he did not like it at all. We then took it a step further and left him in the room with the door closed for 20 minutes! I was in AWE to say the least. I know this process takes time, but I feel so reassured knowing that if I encounter a difficulty, I can always contact Karen. No other company I have ever researched provides ongoing support for both me and my best buddy. I feel very secure, knowing that I am now in the beginning stages of making Milo, a happy stress-free dog. So grateful for Bark Busters!!!!

This is amazing and it works. In 3 hours my cats who couldn't come in the house due To our new crazy barking dog got to re-enter our home. Our dog Caesar doesn't bark at them anymore and he is listening so good you'd think he was a different dog. If your dog is driving you bonkers I recommend Bark busters for the both of you! but most of all I recommend Mark and his wife! Thank you both again so much.

With Florida's rainy season upon us, it brings nasty. dreaded Bufo frog season! Yesterday evening…read moreat dusk, our 24-month-old puppy, Gracie, decided a Bufo frog was a good playmate! She came in the house frantically shaking her head as if her muzzle had been stung by bees. Mouth foaming was next followed by vomiting up her dinner and staggering. As the Emergency Vet put it, "She acted like she was drunk". IMMEDIATE ACTION is necessary to save your pet!! Internet advice claims attention must be done within 15 minutes!! Use a wet washcloth to carefully wash out your pets mouth and gums-rise the washcloth thoroughly between washings -we used 3 washcloths to be sure they were clean of Bufo toxins. Do NOT use a hose to wash out their mouths or allow them to drink water as this could force the toxins into their lungs and cause mortal aspiration! Then rush them to your closest Vet ER!! We bat outta hell'ed it to The VETERINARY MEDICAL CENTER OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY on US1 south of Prima Vista! Open 24 hours a day!! I cannot celebrate enough the fast actions and important care they took with our Gracie! Her vitals looked good (quick actions are imperative!!) but they had us stay for an additional 30 minutes to be certain she didn't have a delayed seizure, which, incidentally, they could have treated with medication. The Vet Med Center sent us home- then amazingly refused to charge anything for their remarkable care as the Vet herself didn't need to address our dog's problem. Huge shout out to the Veterinarian Medical Center of St. Lucie County! While I'm at it- Be sure and protect your pets from Leptospirosis! The inoculations are NOT 100% so it's important to be sure your pets are not eating or drinking anything an infected rodent might have helped themselves to, as in puddles or standing water. It's not a bad idea to keep them indoors at night (Although, as we found out, dusk can be dangerous, too!)! Keep your pets safe! After all, they're cherished family members! The Vet Medical Center is open 24/7. Their number is: (772) 919-8049. Web site: https://www.vetmedcenterslc.com
