Warning: this is going to be a LONG post but it's a real experience. I am honestly so disappointed in my experience at this PetSmart on Kirby and West Loop. Specifically, from the grooming department. I took my dog in for grooming for the holidays because my family has been coming here for years with our family dog, Bones, and this would be my second time bringing my dog in since July. My dog is a Maltese/Poodle mix so she has curly hair and I try to comb through it so it doesn't get tangled. Occasionally, she may get knots. But I always get a shampoo and haircut at the groomers and they make it work. I have NEVER been complained to about knots and I am a very thorough person when it comes to my dog. This time I wasn't able to drop her off myself (my fault, I definitely should have) so my mother took her. My mother FaceTimed me so that I could speak to the groomer. The groomer told me that Gigi had some knots and insisted on getting the detangling shampoo. I opted to not try it but instead just pay extra for a detangle/cut/scissors or whatever they name it as. I told the groomer that I wanted to keep as much hair because we live in the north with snow and very cold weather. Anyway, she told me that she may have to cut her down to where she wouldn't super fluffy but she wouldn't be short. I'm like okay. I pick up Gigi and they completely cut her down to where I can see her skin peeping through. The manager insisted that because I did not get the detangling shampoo then the safest way was to shave all of her hair off. This really made me so angry because I was not called about her hair being tangled to the point that she needed to just be shaved or that they would just not be able to groom her because her hair was unmanageable. She does not even look like a Maltese or poodle anymore, she looks just so horrible and she's a beautiful dog inside and out. I also got a refund but it was really weird because I used Apple Pay on my phone to pay for it and it ringed up as another card when I went to get my refund. But I proved it came out of my account, provided id, and my bank card matching the notification that I paid for this service on my phone. And it also made me even more upset because the lady who placed my transaction saw when I had paid for her and complained about the haircut. I am a hardworking individual and make an honest living. Ultimately, I am just so disappointed in this whole event and will not be bringing my dog back. At least for some years anyway. The best part about this is her bows. Super cute. A lot of the negative reviews appear to be regarding the grooming services, and I can tell you personally I stopped using their grooming YEARS ago because of bad service, or service that took WAY too long to complete. And my dog is a short haired breed that doesn't require a cut or anything special. Regardless, it's still the closest pet store to me. Recently my vet (NOT the Banfield vets, long story) put poor little Pheebs (my 10 y/o pit bull) on a vegetarian diet. Originally we tried the prescription vegetarian blend, but it was too costly. Instead, this Petsmart has another vegetarian blend that Phoebe actually loves. They've only got the one OTC brand, so there's not a lot of choice for vegetarian, but for everything else they've got a wide selection of everything. There are always a lot of staff around, and I've never had an issue with absent or rude staff. I will say occasionally there can be a short wait to check out, but usually they'll call for backup and get it immediately. We've also used their pet boarding, and Pheebs seemed to have a great time and got a glowing report card from her stay. read more

This was the first pet store I went to on a regular basis after getting a dog. As noted in previous posts, the staff here is really pleasant and always full of suggestions and desire to assist. I was a little nervous about leaving our dog for grooming but, I've gotten better about it. The one time I've had an issue with the grooming services, the staff has been immediately responsive. However, the follow-up call when your pet is ready is "hit-and-miss" and most times, you just have to show up to collect your dog when you think the dog may be ready. This PetSmart is useless. I called simply to find out if they had the Science Diet I needed. I was on hold for several minutes when the call went back to the front and someone else picked it up. This happened FIVE times. Non of them were familiar enough with the products to even understand what I was after. After 15 minutes I finally found out they didn't have what I needed. The staff I dealt with were and rude and unable to be of use. So I went to the PetSmart on Kirby and OST by NRG Stadium. They were great!! Go there. read more

*GROOMING REVIEW* I had an appointment for my dog Penny at 1 PM on July 15. I dropped her off at 12:30 for her appointment and was not told any specifics, but we have used pet smart grooming numerous times before and it has always been the 2 hour turn around time after the appointment start time. 4:00 PM rolls around and i have heard absolutely nothing from petsmart, so i give them a call. My call was answered and I asked about the status of Penny, and he said he would check. He came back on the phone and the only thing he said to me was "we will call when she is ready." so i replied "has she been seen yet or bathed yet?" and he replied again "we will call when she is ready." and i asked again "can you please let me know if she has even been seen or out of the kennel since noon?" and he only replied "we will call when she is ready" and im shocked at how rude he was to me. I said "alright" and he hung right up on me. I have never experienced such rude customer service, my dog had been there for over 3.5 hours and i would just like a simple update whether that be oh we are busy and haven't seen her yet or something along those lines, i would be totally fine with a response like that. He was SO rude and hung up on me i decided to call back because i was going to pick Penny up right then due to the lack of professionalism. We love this Petsmart location because they are always on time, do a great job with Penny and we have never had a bad experience. We are going on Penny being there for 5 hours for a simple bath and nail grind, nothing extensive whatsoever and I am still wondering if she has even been seen yet? I am SO disappointed in the grooming tech who was so rude to me over the phone. I hate to even go somewhere else for Pennys grooming but after this experience, the lack of information on my dogs status, and the lack of professionalism i think i will which is such a shame. read more

So, I took my dog in for a bath and paid for a premium aromatic treatment and she smelled worse than she did when I brought her in. She gagged a bit from the short collar used to keep her in place when her nails were being groomed and the technician laughed. I won't bring her back for grooming paid 40-50 bucks to have my dog tortured and soaked in poop water from the smell of her. read more

Okay I love this Petsmart because it is near my house, so it is convenient for people in or near the Bellaire area. The store is one of the bigger PS that I have been in, in the Houston area. They usually are well stocked and have a good variety of things. They usually have sales all the times, especially if you have a Petsmart member card. I took my pup (Chihuahua mix) to their grooming salon because our regular location was booked, and I needed a same day appointment. HUGE MISTAKE!! They were extremely unprofessional and the place was a disaster. The person who attended to me was nice but the others were speaking so loudly to each other I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. I explained all the services my pup needed (bath w/medicated shampoo, nails filed, shave, anal glands expressed, and ears cleaned), I was told the total was about $50. Which would have been fine if they actually did the work I paid for. The groomer called me about 30 minutes after I left saying he was ready, even though I was told that there was another dog ahead of him in line. I was shocked it took so little time. When I arrived to pick him up the woman at the front was too busy enjoying a joke from her colleague to bring me my dog. I stood there and watched this woman cackle for 5 minutes before she got herself together to attend to me. I was obviously annoyed. She finally retrieved my dog and I left. Once we got in the car I realized why he called so fast. My dog did NOT get bathed! His nails were still fairly long and I am positive they didn't even touch his anal glands! I basically paid $50 for a shave. I write this review as I sit here with a smelly dog at my feet. To top off my experience, I was accosted by a drunk fool in the parking lot asking for money for dog medicine after he hit my car with his car door! My dog,Lady is 15 years old and requires special care when grooming. She was really matted last time and Alexa did a wonderful job with her. She was so kind and caring about Lady. It was time for Lady's grooming again and so I chose Alexa again and she didn't disappoint. I was surprised when the cashier said most people don't tip. I can't understand that. It's like tipping someone who cuts your own hair. These people are doing a dirty job that you don't want to do yourself. Tip your groomer! read more

I have been coming to this location every since it was built. All of the managers as well team members are very helpful, I have never had a problem with exchanges. If my pet does not like the food bring it back they will get you what you want. I will say I am very sad that one of them will be retiring for this location, she always makes my day.. read more

Maxx at the Grooming salon is absolutely wonderful. I have had a few bad experiences at other places and have come to like the groomers here. However Maxx has made me LOVE it. She not only was so sweet and gentle with both my fur babies but she also gave me better recommendations than what I originally came in for that was better for both dogs and cheaper! My boys came out looking great, smelling great and nails in great shape. She even helped me pick out a better shampoo for my dogs that helped with dandruff and long hair. Maxx was very friendly and has a warm and inviting smile and a great customer service attitude. I will definitely come back because of her. read more

Alright, prompted by the yelp bot to get off my arse and write a review. I love this location because it is so close and well stocked. I actually had a hard time getting this location to stock a certain food in the larger varieties(pounds) but have since found out the smaller bags have a better mix. Never mind the ramblings of a geezer but this place has it all. I go here for cat/dog/fish supplies. We have a few animals in our house, not including me, so I'm glad they carry a large variety of essentials for other animals as well...in case I pick up another species. One thing to look out for is that coming off the 610(Westpark) off ramp during a rush hour can make merging over an eye opener. See you there! read more

Maureen does an EXCELLENT job grooming my dog every single time! It may be hard to book her sometimes since she has so many happy customers who keep coming back. Fish selection is bland. Employees don't know much about animals. Felt racially profiled in the store. Wouldn't recommend anyone going here. I personally think the mom and pop pet stores have more to offer .. don't waste your time. They're overpriced for nothing. read more

I've taken my mothers dog to many dog groomers around Houston and no one has ever been able to fully groom her dog, yet I took him to Petsmart Angie Franco did an amazing job she actually finished grooming him all the way I was informed he bit her but regardless of his aggressiveness she was able to finish her job she was super sweet and knowledgeable, I've spend more funds at other places yet the packages for service she offered were exceptionally witin our budged. This review is long over due... we used your facility for boarding and my dog ended up with fleas. I let you know and you gave her a free flea bath and apologized. Then she stayed 2 weeks later and guess what?! You guessed it - fleas again! Again bath and apology. We stayed away for awhile but the location is convenient. So we made a reservation for her to stay over Labor Day weekend. Harvey happens and it is devastating! Instead of trying to help people with their displaced pets, you cancel my reservation via an automated voicemail - mind you the other businesses around you are completely functional and open. You don't leave recommendations for other nearby places for me to try to board my dog either. I find a place and ask to have her shot record transferred - after over an hour on hold and numerous assurances still no records 12 hours later! This place is a joke! Never coming back!!! read more

First time was fine, 2nd time I picked up my dog they had lost her bed and her toy; literally handed me an empty bag. They told me to call later when I did I had to remind them what happened and they did credit me back $30. Now the kicker. I think they put my dog in a cage instead of a Doggie suite area she was shaking lost her hair and has refused to go into her crate at night. She has been using her crate for a long time at my house and all of a sudden whined and cried It was 4th of July I'm sure they were booked and they just shoved my old girl into a cat cage and somehow lost all her things $200 later my dog won't use her crate. We boarded our 2 year old Border Collie for one night at the PetsHotel in PetSmart. She was understandably nervous when we dropped her off, but that was to be expected. We even purchased a Doggie Daycamp for her so she wouldn't be stuck in small, cold, concrete floored kennel for over 24 hours. When picking her up on Sunday, she was very visibly stressed and did everything she could to get far away from the building. Despite her visible fear, the short and inattentive PetsHotel staff insisted she played, slept, ate, and pottied well. When we finally got her home, she rushed to the nearest patch of grass and proceeded to pee for what seemed like a full 5 minutes. Once taking her inside, she headed straight for the water bowl and drank 2 entire bowls of water, then scarfed down an entire bowl of food- very odd behavior for a dog that typically takes her time nibbling at her food. In taking her to go #2 she was noticeably constipated. It took her some time once back home to let her guard down and realize she was in a safe space where she would be cared for again. Without evidence or even a log of her activities, I find it very hard to believe my dog was well cared for at the pets hotel or that she even participated in the doggie daycamp. Rather, it's very clear that for what we paid, our dog was placed in a small kennel and left there neglected until we picked her up the following day. The staff even made the effort to throw out a portion of her food so as to make it look like she ate all. PetSmart: hire people who have an actual vested interest in the animals they care for rather than those who will work for the low wage you're likely paying them. You've lost our trust and confidence and thus you have lost us as customers. read more

I wish it were possible to give no stars. I wouldn't take my worst enemy's dog here to be groomed. I dropped off my dog to be groomed and just before the time they asked me to pick her up I received a phone call: "I need to tell you, I mean it's really not that big of a deal and your do was being aggressive but I cut her foot." First of all, do not tell me what's a big deal and what isn't when it comes to my dog. So I rush over there. There's no one out front so I walk In the back where they have my dog and they are trying to stop the bleeding. I picked her up and they tell me I can bring my dog back tomorrow to their vet or I can take her to the emergency vet. Obviously I would never take her back there so we we to the emergency vet. On my way out the door another lady told me I had no reason to be so upset and that my dog was being aggressive. I told her if it was that bad they shouldn't have groomed her and they should have called me. Interestingly enough last time I had my dog groomed here (by someone else) she told me my 10 pound maltipoo was the sweetest pup she'd ever groomed. The vet who saw her also said the story the groomer told me didn't add up based on the parts of her that were groomed. I arrived to the emergency vet and the receptionist was on the phone with someone. From her responses I could tell the person on the other end was being short with her. When she hung up I told her who I was and what had happened. Her response: "I was just on the phone with your groomer and they were very rude." I've tried to contact the store manager several times and can't even figure out who the actual head person is over there; a man called me back last week late one evening and said in his voicemail he would call me back the next day. Never to be heard from again. I'm assuming since no one at petsmart ever even called to check on my pup that they're used to this happening. I will never return to so much as buy dog food from this chain. I do understand accidents happen but the attitude and lack of follow up compounded the situation 1,000 times. 1. When I dropped off my puppy everything went pretty well, set him up for a regular grooming with additional trim. They asked the regular questions etc, and things were fine. 2. When I went to pick him up that evening while waiting to pay for the service I noticed directly in front of the register three different locations where someone's pet had relieved themselves that had not been cleaned, but I didn't think much of it b/c it is a pet store. I made sure to make a offhand comment to my son to watch where he steps b/c there's pee everywhere and the cashier then went and cleaned up one of the three spots. 3. Retrieved my puppy and this where I made my mistake, I should have given him a once over while in there but I didn't, popped back in the car and went home. Later that evening by habit I checked him for fleas, even though I have him on a flea/tick treatment at Banfield(in store pet hospital) and what do I find?? 2 fleas by his face and one on his chest. I was livid. I'm super paranoid b/c I have a child and also I know how bad fleas can get, so I consistently keep a look out. I immediately called the store location and spoke with the manager on duty. After speaking with the groomer she assured me this couldn't have happened there but they would go ahead and give him a flea/tick bath tomorrow morning if I would like. Wtf?! I informed her my dog would not be sitting around my house with these fleas for 12 plus hours just to get a bath from the place he got the fleas from and I would like a refund. She then said she would have to speak with the store manager and would give me a call back. Needless to say she called back to let me know they would not be able to do the refund b/c he couldn't have gotten the fleas from there...they have stainless steel in the back, they get the area treated consistently, etc. Sunday, their store manager will be there and so will I. read more

Please do Not adopt cats at this Petsmart location from the Feral Feline retreat people! They are a non-profit organization with one star reviews and they adopted a kitten to me about a month ago on a rainy day and after I offered to buy a pet taxi they handed me the cat in an open box that didn't even close on the top. Between the cat freaking out and having to run with it in an open box in the rain to my car, the box fell apart before I made it through the parking lot. By the time I made it home I tried to get the cat back in what was left of the box in the rain but the cat freaked out and ran away. Flash forward to a month later when they have texted me emailed me left me nasty Facebook messages left me nasty comments on Instagram as well and threatened to have their lawyer sue me because I lost their cat! Perhaps maybe on adoption days you're cat people should have brought pet carriers or ask the adoptive families to purchase pet taxis. I've never seen more ridiculous crazy people in my life. First you would adopt an animal out without having the necessities to take it home and then you act like I'm a criminal and threatened to sue me with your limited finances because the cat got out of a wet box he gave me! Please go sell you're crazy somewhere else and for sham on anybody that donates so much as a dollar to your ridiculous organization that has no organization and is completely disorganized! read more

Always clean, great staff and selection. Been here twice and both times the collar/leash area has been SPECTACULAR! And I mean not a leash or a harness out of place. I've never seen that at any pet store a day in my life so that alone is impressive. This one is a bit smaller than most Petsmarts but they are easy to get to and navigate. read more

I am the President of Feral Feline Retreat and we adopt the cats and dogs out at this Petsmart location. We have a very good working relationship with management and customers here. Ericka V. posted a scathing review of our group that is completely untrue. She claims that we adopted a Feral kitten to her. Anyone in the the Cat community knows the a Feral cat has a "tipped" ear and this kittens ear was not clipped or tipped. The kitten we sent home w her was a very sweet, social kitten named Oreo. We were concerned because she had a Great Dane dog and a Bull dog but she assured us the dogs loved cats. The kitten was put in a sturdy box and sent home. It is a requirement of PS that I follow up on all adoptions. I called and texted several times and got no response from this adopter to check to see how the kitten was doing. We saw pics of the dogs on FB but never the kitten. Finally I told her I was coming to her house to take the kitten back per our contract and that is when l were notified about this nonsense w the wet box, rain and the kitten running away. Which was at least a month after the adoption. We have no idea what happened to this sweet, adorable kitten. It was not Feral. It was not the type of kitten to run away. We are a reputable adoption group who all care deeply for the animals under our care and hope that the folks who read the horrible things said by this woman will look at the source. Worst grooming experience. We had just moved to a new area and the Petsmart we normally used was too far away. I waited forever to be checked in. When it was my turn, I felt like I was given little attention. I said I wanted my schnauzers hair left a little longer on her head and back and that I don't really like the bald look. So she said "like a teddy bear". I said "no clue what that means but if that means she'll have a schnauzer cut but longer, sure." She didn't ask any of the questions about her health like previous groomers did (flea protection, surgery or illness in past month, etc.). I called at 6 hours because I'd got busy at work and realized they'd never called. After 15 minutes of keeping putting me on hold and telling me "we don't have your dog", "you aren't in our system" and "you must be mistaken", they finally found my dog. I rushed to pick her up to find out she'd been ready for over two hours. They weren't even going to explain what happened but I insisted. The woman who checked me in, put my last name as first and first as last, misspelled both and entered the wrong phone number even though they were all written down for her to enter. They shoved my dog at me and told me to go pay up front and bring them the receipt. I did and when I came back they were like we don't need this and acted like I inconvenienced them. When I put my dog in the car, something wasn't quite right about her face. In all the rush I hadn't noticed that my schnauzers beard and eyebrows were gone! I scooped her up and ran back inside and asked her groomer directly "what colossal miscommunication happened that you did this to my schnauzer." She informed me that she got her orders for a "teddy bear cut" from her manager that checked me in. Had I known that the incompetent woman that checked me in was the manager, I never would have left her there at all! All she would do to compensate me was offer me a free shampoo upgrade next time! I declined and said we wouldn't be back. After reporting them to corporate, the store manager called me two days later. I got refunded but because I wasn't willing to bring her back, that's all he would do. In addition to this incident, the groom itself was as awful as the groomer. Her name was Laura and she had no business grooming dogs. The cut was uneven and she still had matts in her hair. I paid $65 for cut and nail grind and my dog didn't even smell good. Laura was grooming another dog and kept speaking harshly to it. None of them acted like they even liked dogs. When I finally got mine home, she unloaded all over the house even though I took her outside. She then shook for hours. I don't feel like they treated her right there. The experience made me really think that if the groomers acted this way while I was standing right there, what did they do when no one was around. read more

I've come to this Petsmart for years and the one time my dog gets groomed and hurt the female manager on duty treats me like it was my fault. I was not happy with her but I'm giving them 2 stars because the vet was actually very nice. I've tried pretty much all the other houston area petsmarts and this one wins by far. I use the doggy day camp and Banfield services regularly. I usually go here for regular food, treats, etc. pros- doggy day camp always keeps me informed. My pup got sick one day and they called to let me know and even offered to walk her over to Banfield for me of I wanted. Also, this Banfield location gets me in ASAP. Same day or following and later evening appts available. The vets are friendly and helpful. Sign up for the rewards program- I pretty much use a coupon every other time I'm there. Cons- the vets are always trying to sell you something- but well duh. The techs vary in terms of customer service. Sometimes it can take awhile to check in or check out of doggy day camp. read more

Worse experience ever!! My husband and I went on a week long Cruise and boarded our 10 month old schnauzer Jax at this Petsmart Pet Hotel, mind you we have never left him anywhere before. We use Banfield (the pet hospital inside of Petsmart) for all of Jax's medical needs, and the grooming department (he gets groomed a few times a month) and we love it, so we figured we would be just as satisfied with the Pet Hotel, WRONG!! Our Cruise was scheduled to leave on Sunday , so we dropped off Jax on Saturday evening. I made sure Jax had everything he needed, including 2 gallons of water (yes, he only drinks bottled) and his own bag of food, treats and bowls. I also left 20 potty pads (hes pad trained) along with his toys. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and made sure to put all of our instructions into the computer- when he should eat, when he should get a treat, how often to change his potty pad, etc. We left somewhat sad, but were happy he would be in good hands while we were gone...WRONG!!! We returned the following Sunday to pick Jax up and the same lady greeted us and told us what a good boy Jax had been and how well everything had gone, we paid our almost $300 bill and waited patiently for them to bring Jax out. While we waited, a gentleman brought out all of Jax belongings but only brought out half a gallon of water and told us that Jax drank a lot, which I was pleased to hear. We continued to wait and as soon as Jax walks out I notice that Jax's snout and paws are yellow, they were covered in urine :( which made me question whether or not they had used his potty pads, so I counted them and of course all 20 were still there. This meant that for 7 days my baby had walked, sat, and laid, in his own urine. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I became very upset and requested to speak to a manager, a guy named Curtis stated that the manager was not available but that he was the assistant manager and could help me. I explained the situation and how disappointed we were with their services, he apologized and tried to blame the lady for not putting the instructions in the computer. I explained that she had read everything back to us, therefore, he could not use that as an excuse, he then refunded the entire amount (which is the least of it, when your pet has been mistreated). Poor Jax was completely not himself once we got home, but I understood considering everything he had experienced in the last 7 days, but I found it extremely odd that Jax only peed once the entire night, which means all the water they claimed he drank, he did not!! Had I left him any longed, he probably would have dehydrated to death :( :( :( and that would have caused my lawyer to get involved. I thought that by leaving Jax in a well known place, there would be a greater chance of him being taken care of better than in a mom and pop type of place...and I was completely WRONG!!! DON'T LEAVE YOUR PETS HERE!!! THEY ARE LIARS!!! read more

I contacted Petsmart grooming yesterday to schedule a nail grind appointment for today. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and advised me that my dog needed an updated rabies. I advised that she goes to Banfield in meyerland they they have the records. She TOLD me to just let the person know tomorrow and that person would call Banfield for the info. However, I was not told the same thing when I arrived. I was told that I needed the piece of paper showing rabies. I advised what I was told yesterday by the person on the phone and then he went to ask someone else, and she told me to walk over the Banfield and get the paper. I tried but the line was super long. I have been going to Petsmart and Banfield for years and have never had the worse experiences than I have received in the past year ever. This is why I have canceled both of my pets plans. Laziness is too common anymore at Petsmart/Banfield. read more

Great place for pet food and supplies. They typically have adoptions taking place, but it always seems to be for cats and never dogs. I've been thinking about adopting a dog so I will check out this place for adoptions and supplies, but am always disappointed that no dogs are available for adoption at this location. read more

Don't bother taking your fur baby here. The grooming department is incompetent. I took my lab here for a nail trim. The person who took her (some white guy with a black lip piercing) decided it would be a good idea to pull on her neck. I kept asking him not to do that after seeing her collar and she was visibly uncomfortable. He brought her back with a ton of attitude and I removed her collar and he just used the slip collar. He continued to keep pulling her neck and she was kept choking. While she was getting her nails trimmed she was perfectly fine (I stood there watching everything). When he brought he back he continued to pull tightly on her collar continuing to choke her. I kept telling him that there is no reason to do that. The manager, Rosa, just sat there oblivious and thanked me for coming in as we walked out. Just... DO NOT GO HERE. If they are willing to do that in front of me, then I don't want to find out how my dog would have been treated without me around. read more

I'm new to Houston I have 2 dogs and 1 puppy. I didn't know where to take my puppy to get her fisrt shots. This morning I dropped off my dogs to Gizzies grommers and I stopped a lady to find out where to take my puppy. Anyway, I just came out of Pet Smart and what a great experience. We saw Dr. Gregory Bogard, he had alot of information and education for me. Overall I had a pleasent visit with people who really care. Thank you! read more

It's Petsmart. They have what you need. The staff isn't great, but that's why I gave it 3 stars.

Do not board your dog here!!!! Horrible experience!!!! When I picked my dog up he was so stinky & dirty. They told me he vomited a few times maybe because it was his first time, but he smelled like they allowed him to roll in the vomit & didn't clean him. He looked like a totally different dog than the one I dropped off & on top of that, something happened to his bark! His bark was much higher & different. It took months for him to get his normal bark back. I paid 400$ for boarding him! They are taking your money, but not taking care of your pet like they promise to! Horrible! I admit it, I'm a dog lady. And I've been to many many groomers who claim to know what they are doing but don't. Petsmart is not usually my favorite but they get the job done and I can be fit in to most schedules plus the price is reasonable. But then there was James! I didn't know who touched my dog but she came out beautiful! It's hard to make the lion cut on a husky look good. I couldn't tell you about competition/confirmation but this guy has talent. I've requested him ever since. 2 other groomers got ahold of her in between and I underestimated the power living with a dog with a nice haircut. More people want to pet my dog, she seems happier, I swear I'm not making this up! I will follow james and his services wherever he goes. He has done a consistent great job and is polite. James is now my go to groomer! read more

DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE. 6 months ago I took my dog to get groomed and they do not follow instructions on what you tell them that you want. I Showed up this morning and they have a rude ass person working there. Like if I was the one who picked her job. And Guess what? Picked up my dog 4 hours later and they did the same thing that they did 6 moths ago, I made my self clear when calling to make an appointment. Will never be back. read more
