However, it's what you do to rebound from that right? So Alejandro saw us and apologized so it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, our furry children had a good time. They had a blueberry facial, they had bandanas, they also had a lot of exercise and 1:1 time. What I loved-- is how we can check the pet cameras to make sure they are ok! They also did brain games too and they were so tired when we picked them up! Money usually cries in the car but he didn't cry at all on our way back so I could tell that dogtopia did a very great job. Jasmine also explained everything well. The pups also had their nails trimmed too!!!! I loved how they center the dogs around like what group they can be too! Penny and Money were in the medium dog size group for medium energy! Separated from highest energy dogs! That kind of thought is so cute!

Even though they offered to do absolutely nothing for taking up my entire day, I tried to be understanding and I get people make mistakes, continued to come back again. I drop my dog off at 10 am for an appointment 6/6 I made weeks in advance, they confirm my appointment the day before as well, at 2PM IN THE AFTERNOON I'm informed there's no groomer there, never was a groomer down on the schedule at all. The best they could give me is "sorry you can come back tomorrow or another day and we can TRY and make sure someone is there" Oh not to mention every time I go it's always a different price with no explanation. As someone that's been with you for 5 years, never no showed, not payed or caused any fuss this customer service was extremely disappointing.

WARNING! ** URBAN TAILS PET RESORT KILLED OUR DOG!! ** It is…read morevery difficult for us to write this review, but I'm hoping it will give us some closer and peace for our Beloved Marley Girl. While our dog "Marley" was at the groomer getting simple nail trim and bath, we received a phone call from Urban Tails stating that there was an "accident". We rushed to the groomer to find out the worst news. Our beloved Marley was dead. The groomer stated she brought Marley to the back room and place Marley in a bath tub and placed her on a choke collar. After the groomer was done giving Marley a bath, the groomer stated: "...Marley jumped out of the tub and broke her neck... it all happened so quickly, it was an accident.." At first, I was sympathetic to the situation, but as i demanded to see the video footage, I was denied viewing any video footage because the owner of Urban Tails stated: ".. it's too graphic to watch.." We left Urban Tails with our sweet Marley's body wrapped in a cold wet towel. Our lawyer also requested to view the video footage. This is when we found out the TRUTH. After the groomer finished rinsing Marley, the groomer proceeded to leave the room leaving Marley soaking wet, attached to the choke holder and alone in the tub. Approx 1 min later, Marley began to look around. Then she jumped out of the tub with the choke collar still attached. Marley then began to struggle for her life, gasping for air and trying to reach for anything to help her breath. She could not touch the ground. She struggled for 8 WHOLE MINUTES according to the video footage. Her body went limb at 9 minutes. Marley was found hanging by the choke collar outside of the tub by a different groomer at 11 minutes. 11 minutes have passed since the original groomer left the room. Her body was unresponsive and Marley was dead. The original story given to us by the groomer was a complete lie. This was NO accident!! This was complete and utter NEGLIGENCE!! Marley did not die instantly as the groomer stated. Our poor Marley struggled for her life and suffered a senseless death. We feel tremendous guilt for trusting our family member with Urban Tails. We should have never brought her there. If you love your pet as much as we do, please please please DO NOT bring your pet to Urban Tails. Nothing on earth will bring beloved Marley back to us. But we hope to inform others to learn from our tragedy. The groomer should have never left her unattended and the use of choke collars should only be used by properly trained groomers or omitted from grooming / bathing techniques completely. The heartache of losing a loved one in such a sudden tragic manner is overwhelmingly difficult. Please DO NOT bring your pet to Urban Tails!! In solidarity - Marley's parents

I definitely recommend adding a spa bath on pick up day. I also love the cute bandana that was given to Boba each time! I will definitely continue using this as a safe boarding option for my dog when necessary.

The care and expertise that they have shown our Buddy has been transformative... for all of us! This is a long-established care and training facility... and the dog's care, training, family integration, and safety are their hallmarks. After having our active vizsla spend 3 successful overnight stays at the farm, we opted for an intensive month-long, board-and-train stay. Buddy was kept in a very comfortable "suite" with his own indoor/outdoor access (during supervised hours), comfortable amenities, and even a lttle television for "white-noise" and company. Martine is nationally renowned and respected-- and for good reason. She is first and foremost an expert in understanding and training these precious creatures, and she is secondly SERIOUS about the training for our pup and our family. She has been open, respectful, and communicative about our exact needs, as well as Buddy's. After the very hard month (for this doting mom and dad) away from our Buddy, we returned to a pet who had tools and strategies for living politely, attentively, calmly and engaged. Martine and the J-Canine staff were patient with our frequent check-ins and always honest and clear in answering our questions and concerns. Buddy received consistent and loving-care and training -- all from a dedicated POSITIVE approach. Buddy is 18 months old, and we are realistic about the training and commitment that lies ahead. As Martine explained, he is just in "kindegarten"... but ready to move ahead... AS ARE WE! NB: If you want access to your own video cameras, frills that mean nothing to our pets (and are merely in place for our comfort), or only glowing reports about your animal, then this may not be the place for you... My dog was understandably wet and nervous from the weather, and rather than taking the time to evaluate her properly, the trainer quickly labeled her as "not trainable" and emphasized how "expensive" their program is. She also suggested medicating my dog -- after barely interacting with her. Yes, my dog was nervous in a new place, but that's exactly why we were seeking help. Instead of showing patience or professionalism, the trainer was dismissive and made a snap judgment that couldn't have been more wrong. Honestly, I'm glad her poor attitude and lack of professionalism were apparent early on -- it saved me from wasting more time after driving an hour to get there.
