DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE FOR GROOMING. I brought both of my dogs here to be groomed and one of my dogs was cut and had to be stitched. I asked to speak with the vet and they said he was on lunch which I don't believe. The lady was acting like it was not a big deal and I felt the vets assistant (Steven) was the same. They only charged me for one dog but that wouldn't fix anything. Never will I ever bring my dogs to any PetSmart grooming. read more

PetSmart - Pet Stores Near Me - Fullerton, California

I took my dog here about a week ago for a grooming. After she came back she wasnt the same. She would just stare at us for long periods of time without moving. She would lay down and throw up everywhere. She wouldn't eat her food or drink any water. I legit thought she was gonna die. One day she just laid in her bed without moving for a couple hours. I thought she was getting comfortable cause she knew she was gonna die. This broke my heart. I ended up grabbing her and forcing her to eat food and drink water. Shes finally doing better now. I will never take my dog back here again. I'm writing this review because I just read an article that said that DOGS ARE DYING!!!! After being GROOMED at PETSMART for no reason. AND THAT Petsmart was paying owners money to stay QUIET. Dont take your dog here. You'll regret it. TRUST ME. read more

Leana is horrible and her customer service is bad. I called to verify if they had any large frozen rats which she answered "plenty of them". Upon arrival there was none to be found. When I asked her about it she just brushed me off without any care about the bad experience she provided. I doubt the managers/supervisors will do anything about the lack of customer service so my roommates have decided to no longer use this location for our pets needs. read more

BEWARE of terrible customer service!! We got some hermit crabs as gifts from a family friend. They weren't terribly healthy to begin with and one died. They were purchased at the Brea store. They were within the guarantee period. My poor wife took them to this location and was insulted and told to go to the store they were purchased at. Another hour and more exposure to covid. Thanks jerks! BTW this is not the policy of PS, they were just too lazy to help her. I recommend the Orange CA store. Their staff is excellent. read more

I just got a new dog and went to the store to get the essential starter items and the staff member who helped me was great. He guided me to each isle to find what I was looking for. I also ended up buying a harness that was too big and I was able to exchange it without a problem even after I took off the tags. Great customer service! I will keep coming back :) read more

Went into this petsmart to buy my dog a training collar and after about a week I realized it was defective. I got rid of my receipt (my fault) when I went back to see if I can exchange it or get a refund for their defective training collar they said they couldn't because they could not find my transaction where I used my card to pay with so there goes $120 defective training collar. read more

Set an appointment a week in advance over the phone since no online bookings were available for at least 2 months.... Show up and was told I wasn't on the schedule after asking for proof of rabies (which was requested when I set up the appointment via phone despite the rabies shot was administered by THE SAME Petsmart yet' not showing up in their system'...). This is not the first disappointment I've had with them but it is definitely the last. They are notorious for trying to add all types of additional charges for extra services I've declined in the past. I'm done with these losers. Spare yourself the misery and take your business elsewhere. You suck Petsmart read more

Needless to say I totally didn't bring cash for tip so I thought why not leave a nice review for the people that handle my dogs often. Thank you for always taking care of them for me and really going above and beyond that I have seen. PetSmart - Place sucks!!!!!!!! - Pet Stores Near Me - Fullerton, California

I will start off by saying that I have a groomer I go to on a regular basis but was given a coupon for a free bath for my puppy. So I decided to use it. Bad idea! I had to ask the girl who trimmed my puppies nails to file them because upon picking her, my puppy scratched me really deep. Her nails were trimmed but not filed so they were sharp. She told me tell them next time I bring her to file them. I also noticed that the puppy was just brushed on top. Nowhere else. Then when I asked why things hadn't been done the girl said because my 5 lb. maltipoo was aggressive. To which I replied that she's teething and that's not the same as aggression. She respond that she was so aggressive she had to move her from the top crates to the bottom... I said that sounds like she was scared not aggressive!!! So if you have a puppy that needs to be groomed do not bring them here, they seem to not have experience with puppies! read more

Mary the Manager of Cats in Need is an angel for all the kittens and cats. She has helped me with sick kittens I rescued. Great service and always on schedule! Friendly staff helped me to purchase necessities and at great prices.

Paid 60 dollars for a water shower only. They told me to upgrade to the summer special, they didn't give me anything included with it. Literally paid 60 dollars and my dog got a water shower only. I will be going back tomorrow to get a refund. read more

Be sure to check out this place before taking your dog in to the groomer. I was not pleased by seeing, and hearing, the way they keep the dogs in the back when not being groomed. The music was so loud just to drown out the dogs, it was ridiculous. They were extremely rude which made it an even more unpleasant experience, both for me and my dog. They do not tell you what they actually do, only that they won't do anything your dog is not comfortable with. This is 100% understandable but seems like an easy way to get out of doing what you pay for. I also ended up paying $10 more than was shown on the website and my dog didn't even get the bandana that was supposed to be included. In the end, I would not go back and would not recommend it. read more

Took my boy here for a nail trimming and anal gland expression (ew, I know). The price is 10 each so I opted for the bath because the girl at the counter told me the price would be $21.99 for a bath which includes an oxygenated bath, drying, 15 mins of brushing, ear solution, nail trim, anal gland expression and pad shaving. However I was rang up at 24.99, which is still affordable. HOWEVER, they only do external gland expression. My doggy was very uncomfortable and if I knew that, I would have gone somewhere else. A little transparency would have been nice. But some places are just about the bottom line. My boys nails were pretty long so when they called to tell me he was ready in 1 hour, I asked if they trimmed his nails. They said no! Because his nails are black, it's difficult to see the wick, but they are supposed to be professional groomers. She said she would check again. When I went to pick him up, his nails were untrimmed. I have tile at home, so I hear lots of clicking when he walks. So the two services that I came for, were not fulfilled. read more

I have given this place numerous chances time after time and there are still no results!!!! Beware I repeat do not bring your dog here to get groomed!!!!! Just picked up my dog Tinkerbell from the groomers and she has severe razor burn all over her body poor little thing..... I am still upset that is why I am writing this review I have contacted the manager and no one will talk to me.... the store manager herself thinks it's better that the person in charge of the grooming need to take care of the situation and she is out for the day! !!!! Shame on you! this is s horrible situation that needs to be taken care of immediately!!!! I can not believe how much they don't care about their pets and their customers! Shame, shame, shame!!!!!!!! Please learn from other peoples' mistakes!!!!!!!!!!!....including mine! There are countless reviews about horrible, poorly executed service here, from Petsmart Grooming and Bansfield to the employees who could care less about customer service...... If you go through these reviews and STILL decide to come here, I give you props. Your BS tolerance is probably pretty high :) You are more likely than not to come out of this store with an unsatisfactory experience. If not, then consider yourself one the few, you're pretty lucky ! This particular location is ALL sorts of wrong. They need to rehire and retrain. Go to Buena Park location instead! read more

Boyfriend got the urge to set up an aquarium, and decided that Petsmart was the way to go. I was less than enthusiastic about the plan, but decided to be supportive anyway. I really wish the staff there had felt the same way. Whenever we were there, it was difficult, to say the least, to track down someone in the petcare department to assist us, and when we did, to say they weren't all that helpful would a be a gross understatement on my part. No matter how often we explained that he was new to this, it seemed the employees were determined to act like he should know better before asking them questions that they thought he ought to have researched beforehand. The good thing about this Petsmart? It's close to us, and the cashiers are usually very friendly. read more

I've never had problems with products at this location that they weren't able to help me to return or exchange if my pets don't like a certain brand of food. Staff are always helpful and pleasant and I enjoy shopping here. There is one thing that bothers me... is the constant number of cats and kittens throughout the year that are in the cat adoption area looking for a loving home not only at this location but throughout America. Understandably, sometimes home situations cannot be avoided like if someone can no longer take care of their pets and pets have nowhere else to go but to an adoption center like they have. Nothing against this store or chain or any pet adoption center. This is a problem for dogs as well, but many people seem to think that cats are very independent and need to be outside where they roam free in neighborhoods catching birds and rodents. All domestic small pets need to be at home either indoors-only or in a yard with a secured enclosure. Cats are especially vulnerable as they are smaller and can become prey for larger aggressive animals, accident victims or even prey on birds and other smaller animals outside. If they are not fixed and are free to roam, they can have hundreds of kittens within a short time which you'll see in adoption centers. Very sad situation... but there are many vets and organizations where you can have your pets fixed for lowered fees on certain days... so keep your small pets indoors-only, they will be happier and healthier and you'll have a treasured furry family member to enjoy for a lot longer. read more

For the Groomers only!!!! So I called and wanted to sch a bath for my lab 5 months old and she told me that the price went up due to that my dog is older than 6 months and i asked her if she knew how to count because he's not quite six months yet. She replied it dose not matter the age we cant take him because it needs to be three weeks before you can give him a bath again. I just told her she was out her ever loving mind he gets bathed two times a week and if she didn't want to do it I will be happy to find someone else who wants my money And hong up. Im so disappointed I really liked how they bathed him and how he liked going there. Oh well there loss Ill find another groomer. read more

Don't waste your time here because they have absolutely no regard at all for your money or time invested into their training. I paid for an advanced class back in NOVEMBER that was supposed to start at the end of that month. We had done Beginning and Intermediate with the trainer that we had signed up with and loved it; however, we showed up for the first day to find nobody there and find out that the class was cancelled. Fast forward through months of playing phone tag and getting absolutely no communication from PetSmart about anything....the only way I got signed up for a new class was because I kept calling and leaving messages that weren't returned until January. We were supposed to finally start our advanced class yesterday afternoon, only to find out that it was postponed until FEBRUARY 23RD!! Shocker....nobody contacted us to let us know until today. There's only one trainer there now and he has 0 regard for anything considering that over the phone he told me "I could apologize but I haven't been here for 3 months." What an absolute joke. It's safe to say that I won't be wasting any more of my money or time here as it's clear that you really do get what you pay for. There's a reason why their classes are so cheap, you truly get what you pay for. You're better off investing your money into a training program that actually cares about their dogs and the handlers than ever stepping foot into this place. read more

This is a review for the groomers. I have 2 mini schnauzers and they usually got the breed cut although sometimes they get an all over summer cut with schnauzer face. got tired of paying $50 (not including tip, which I pay because they're expected not earned these days, geeze I sound like someone's grandma) per dog and having them come home bleeding from the clippers. they also always scold me from not being them in for a bleeding session more frequently. the groomers are generally rude, although there are some who are genuinely nice and enjoy their job and animals. Bought a pair of manual trimming shears from petco (I think) with guides like on the blades like electric shears and they work great without the noise of a buzzer. the vet was impressed that we did it ourselves when we took them in to get their nails did. not to brag or anything lol ;) read more

For a big chain, this is one store that has a lot of personal touches. For years I've taken my dogs to be groomed at Petsmart. I've never encountered any problems. The store usually has a great selection, although the prices aren't usually the lowest. The people that work there do seem to truly love animals. My Golden Retriever especially loves the cookies he's given at the checkout. Last week, I lost one of my beloved dogs to cancer. I stopped by the grooming salon to let them know. They seemed sincerely sad. In fact, one of the groomers even sat on the floor to play with my other dog while we were talking. Flash forward to today when I come home to find a giant box on my front porch. Inside was a large lily plant in a beautiful pot along with a card that read, "Our hearts go out to you. Moose will be missed. - Petsmart". I was blown away. What an extremely classy and lovely thing to do. Thank you, Petsmart. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR TRAINING ONLY Maria. Need training? Go to Maria. She and Paola (who trained my dog during puppy classes only) got my rambunctious Havanese to pass all the way to Advanced, and now he's a therapy dog because he listens so well. We always get praised for how well behaved my dog is and how he's so perfect. WELL THANKS TO THE TRAINERS! Maria taught us for Intermediate and Advanced. She also went out of her way to see me out of class time so I could fix little kinks my dog was doing. Did I mention she helped us study for the therapy evaluation as well? We have become friends and sometimes I sit in on the classes just to assist if she asks or to hang out. GO TO MARIA OR GO HOME! read more

This Petsmart is well kept.. very clean. They have full services: grooming, training, banfield vet, and cat adoptions. My problem is that half the time I go to get my Oxbow rabbit food they're out of it. The first time the lady gave us a discount on a substitute, but I get oxbow because I know it's healthy and it's what my bunnies are used to. I often go to Anaheim feed instead and I tend to prefer it, but sometimes Im too lazy to even drive one block further. Sometimes I prefer to go to petsmart because it's a little more convenient, and close to other places I usually need to go. I would give it more stars if I could just because I like looking at the Hamsters :) (crazy hamster lady here). And I'm glad they started carrying Syrians! They're a little nicer. read more

Grooming Salon: Called and made an appointment days in advance for my day off of work, and I arrived with my dog for them to tell me that my appointment wasn't on their schedule. They told me I could leave my dog with them in their kennels for a minimum of 5 hours at the hopes that they could fit her in, but no guarantees. Seriously? Why would I leave my dog in a shitty kennel for 5 hours with no promise of her even getting seen. I came back a month later thinking perhaps that was just a poor interaction, I dropped her off to get her nails trimmed. I paid extra for her nails to be filed instead of cut, I walked around the store for about 10 minutes until she was done and when I picked up my dog it was like nothing had happened, her nails were still long and looked as though they were barely filed down. Definitely not coming back. A serious waste of money from my experience, and from what I've read of others experiences I'm terrified of bringing my puppy for grooming there now. read more

I would highly recommend taking the puppy/dog training with Maria. We have a lab/australian shepherd puppy and we went through the puppy course, the intermediate course, and the advanced training course. We learned SO much with these- and each of them are extremely affordable. You really get the best value out of these classes! In my class, there were only a few other dogs so I really felt like it was a one-on-one session at times (which is extremely beneficial). I would recommend Maria to everyone because she takes the time with each person and their dog. She even took time after class to help us, which she didn't have to. We learned so much from her and I am happy to say that our dog now listens to us. I loved Maria so much we are actually going to come back to do the "click a trick" class! read more

Just spent a half-hour waiting on hold for the grooming department as a pre-recorded message repeatedly told me about how easy it is to make a grooming appointment online - easy if you want to set up an account, that is. Easy in comparison to waiting a half-hour on hold, of course. Other departments kept picking up and asking me to keep holding and when the grooming department did pick up I was actually surprised. The young man who picked up ruined that. He refused to help, had a bad attitude, and acted like I'd never been there before - I kept telling him, "I know. I've brought my dogs there for years." It was one of those situations where he clearly didn't want to be on the phone and, after a while, I decided to stop inconveniencing him. read more
