Against my better judgement we booked an apt for our 6 month old cavapoo today for a full service grooming. My puppy was so stressed out when they brought him out to us. He was whimpering and completely beside himself. Cecilia the one who worked on him didn't even bring him out to us. She did a horrible job and after my husband explained NOT to shave his face she did all the way to the tip of his nose. She shattered one of his nails, his cut is choppy and over his body This was the absolute worst experience by far. This was his second visit to a groomer, we are looking for a place to take him to consistently. The first time he was no where near full of anxiety like he displayed today! I was in tears not because she did a horrible wack job on his hair but because he was beyond stressed whimpering and clawing at me for dear life. I didn't bother complaining because what the hell is that going to do exactly. I decided to write a review instead so that you can read for your self. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DON'T TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE!! I didn't bother leaving her a tip. I watched a couple of other groomers in action before my dog came out and they were mean and seemed impatient with their dogs. If you can't be a patient loving human when working with dogs I suggest getting a new Job that's more your speed where you don't have to interact with anyone! Horrible place just horrible!!!! Scheduled an appointment for a full groom. I asked for a light trim/touch up around the face & paws. Was told that my dog's fur was too matted & needed to be shaved. I asked why the groomer could not brush it out. Isn't that the point of getting your dog groomed? I was given 2 options - take the dog back or shaved down. Extremely disappointed in the lack of effort from the groomer! Just lost my business. read more

Worst service ! Took my Dog to get groomed and the first lady I encountered was really friendly. Then all the staff all at once decided go to lunch and left together. Another one of her co-workers walked in and asked if she can take my dog to the back. Then goes off giving her so much attitude and snatches the leach from her. Took my dog here months ago and never left a review. Always schedule groomings here, but that immediately was put to a stop once my baby came back limping. Took her back the next morning, and after a lot of back and forth, as well as reaching out to corporate, only to never receive a call back, we've decided not to return. We were told if the x ray showed something we wouldn't have to pay, however if it didn't, we would have to pay. What sense does this make when my dog was not limping until I picked her up? Had to have someone else speak up, as that quickly changed and we didn't pay a DIME for anything. No answers were given, only medicine distributed stating "dogs like her have knee problems" I advise everyone to get MOBILE ROOMING. You can see what is being done at all times. Extremely upset on the cleanliness of the aquarium life in store they are ridden with harmful bacteria. I recently bought Guppies and goldfish as feeders from this location to find my whole aquarium destroyed by the bacteria kept in their water. My child is devastated that the fish that he raised for over 3 years are all dead. He lost two adult parrot fish an adult African cichlid, an adult green terror and a adult Silverback catfish. read more

Amazing!! I took my senior cat to get groomed here for the first time. He is a very shy cat but they did an awesome job grooming him. I got him a haircut and the groomer, Tiffany, was able to evenly shave all of his back and belly. When came home and was very happy to strut around and show off his new adorable haircut! The manager of this store needs to find a job she can handle. I just spent 20 minutes + in line waiting to pay for my dog food. The manager was walking around doing nothing while the 15 of us in line waiting to pay looked around for someone to help at the registers. Only one was open which seems to be sop for this manager. The one cashier was helping people buy live fish and had called for backup twice before any help arrived. The poor people purchasing fish were still standing at the register when I finally checked out and left. Corporate needs to get rid of this woman. I am never shopping at this Petsmart as long as she is in charge. BTW... the two stars are only because the store is clean and other employees are nice. read more

Mercedes at the grooming center always takes good care of my baby boy, Zuko. He is an all white German Shepherd Husky mix, so keeping him clean and his shedding can be a problem but PetSmart makes it easy for me to call in and schedule an appointment as soon as Zuko needs one. The pricing, especially for a large breed, isn't too bad. I've looked elsewhere but the prices are usually to steep anywhere else. We will definitely be going back! read more

I was going to take my dog here for training when I first got him, about a month ago. I ended up asking for my money back and taking him to another Petsmart because the attitude of the trainer, Amanda, was very off-putting. She was not only rude, but also not very helpful. We had to miss the first class because Bosco just had surgery, so we rescheduled a make up class with the trainer. I showed up on a rainy Saturday morning only to find out that the trainer had cancelled all her classes and forgotten to call me. When I called the next day to reschedule again her excuse was "Oh, I couldn't find your number." There wasn't an apology, nor was there any remorse for the fact that I had to drag myself and my dog down there early on a rainy Saturday. I was not happy. I was also not happy because when I asked to reschedule her response was "We didn't really do anything that day, just socialization. we couldn't do much because of an unruly dog. You don't really have to come in." When I said that I wanted to come in because I paid for 8 classes, she reluctantly rescheduled. I was not amused with her attitude and I didn't feel like spending 2 months with her, so the next day I went into the store and asked for my money back. I ended up taking Bosco to the Petsmart on Foothill (review to follow at the end of our training class). read more

Took my French Bulldog to be groomed and pampered. Mercedes was awesome! My Coco doesn't usually like strangers touching her and I've been the only one to every give her a bath or brush her teeth but she loved Mercedes and wasn't scared with her. I have been taking my two standard poodles to the PetSmart Fontana grooming salon for over two years. Each time, they are expertly groomed by Katy and Noel who do EXCELLENT work on my girls. I am completely and totally satisfied with the grooming my girls get at Fontana PetSmart. There was one time that I needed my girls groomed at the last minute and Katy and Noel were already booked, so I took them to another groomer closer to my home. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! The other groomers absolutely paled in comparison to the job we get at Fontana PetSmart. I am picky about how my girls are groomed, and I just can't say enough about these two fabulous groomers. I always bring my great dane to get groomed here and haven't had a problem, they are always friendly and work with my dog, he is sensitive when people touch his paws so depending on his mood he will let himself get his nails filed or not, and they always try and if he didn't let himself then they won't charge me. I would NOT RECOMMEND to purchase aquatic decorations from this establishments because they dont honor to exchange or return back what breaks down in a short time. I purchased expensive aquarium pieces (4) large wood looking with many plastic plants at $70.00-$80.00 a item. After about a month to month and a half these pieces, from the plants started to unglue themselfs. I did return to Petsmart to exchange these that were coming apart. The cashier said they could not do anything about it and suggested to glue them back myself. To me Petsmart does not back up there products Especially if you spend some good money on these items. To this day they still come unglued and stuck with these cheap items. Never again will I buy decorations from them again. I have learned to buy online from establishment's like Mountain or chewy or like these that back up there merchandise. Really am disappointed PetSmart. read more

The staff here is always nice! They've helped me immensely with my dog Otis. But today I took my pup in for grooming and let me just say...he was a mess! He's a Siberian Husky in the midst of shedding. It was so bad that I decided to hand him over to a pro! Well the staff in grooming was so easy to deal with, nice and friendly. I was very reluctant to take my dog here to get his nails trimmed after all of the bad reviews. I normally have it done when he visits his vet, but I really needed it done and they were the closest, so I went! I walked in to the groomers and was instantly greeted. They took my dog right away and was done in 5-7 minutes. There were 4 groomers, all busy grooming dogs, no dogs were screaming or crying. I also purchased my dog food and a container for the dog food. I was asked by the lady up front if I needed help to my car! I will definitely bring my dog here again! read more
