This was a fresh welcome! After being turned away 4 weeks in a roll from "Pramyz Kobe" I could no longer wait to give that Groomer my Business... After a search for reviews of reputable groomers I found this groomer to be recommended and so I thought I'd give it a try, let me tell you I was very happy with my visit the groomer who assisted me was very pleasant to work with and gave me no negative remarks as to the hair style I choose for my dog, as that was what happened at the other groomers, she told me that was "A HOLLYWOOD STYLE WHICH ALSO COST HOLLYWOOD MONEY" the stylist I seen here at holiday pet grooming name was Chris, I told her how I like my dog styled and with no Problem and with excellent execution she did the Job and she did not charge me EXTRA. This place fit me into their schedule with no problem, although they were booked up. The groomer also noticed my dog had a little infection going on between his paws because of his constant licking i'm sure. But that was an excellent "Heads up" I would recommend this place for your baby, as my baby came out looking beautiful and smelling great! Thank you for excellent service. We will be back. P.S. I don't recommend this place. My mom drop off her there dog getting a haircut there and they cut my dog 2 inches deep. I do not trust this place. They could've hurt my dog my mom's dog had to get staples by the neck that's so insane. I walked into Ohana Paws for the first time taking my pet there. I walked in said hello to the lady at the front desk and got no response. I was the only one in the lobby. I had my glasses on so maybe she didnt know I was talking to her. I said hello again, as she looked a bit stressed. I was concerned for her stress levels early in the morning and is my pet going to be happy and safe here? I said hello again, waived and received no response. Finally Ms. Denise who was sitting on the other side of the door greeted me and I felt a bit at ease a bit. Ms. Denise took my pet and chatted with me and I felt a bit more relaxed leaving my pet there for the first time. After Ms. Denise took my pet to the back and asked me to fill out a few simple forms, which would have took me about a minute. I was accosted by the worker who did not greet me, with an attitude about wear my car was parked. There was no body in front of the store. I admit, It was a fire lane but no one was in the lot. I would have been in and out in 5 minutes tops. I was wrong by parking there but what I was met with shocked me. I responded to the request to move, of course I will move it, I am almost done with the paper work. In stead of being kind and allowing me to cross my T and dot my I - she insisted that I move my car immediately. Leaned over and pointed with a high and somewhat aggressive voice ; SIR YOU NEED TO MOVE YOUR CAR... I immediately felt uncomfortable, irritated and felt like she was being a bit of a "Karen." Based off her lack of a proper greeting when I walked in. I was totally rubbed the wrong way. After moving my car, I came back in and finished the paper work. I told her I hope your Morning is better. Based off her visible stress levels upon entry and her tone when speaking to me. She changed her tone eventually. But It effected me in a way that I am writing about it now. I was going to ask for my pet back immediately and go some where else. The reason why I stayed was because I saw other customers coming out happy with their pets. And of course Ms. Denise was just amazing and sweet. The cut on pet was a little over priced for what I received but my little girl came out happy and clean. And that is all that matters. But I must say I was a bit taken back by the greeting & "Karen" attitude I received before service and said I was not coming back. A bit disappointed to be honest. I made an appointment for 10 am, and got my dog 5 hrs later with cuts all over her and hair splinters in her eyes. Her nails were not cut on several of them each paw, patches of long fur left all over her body. Worst of all are the spots on her poor face where they sheered her skin off and made her bleed. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this is pretty heartbreaking to see my dog in pain and bleeding, she's never spent this long at a groomer and to come out like this is very sad. I was also quoted a starting price of $65 and ended up paying $130 with no itemized receipt of what she had done. I usually pay $65 for her to be washed, nails clipped and hair cut. I don't know what added up to this much but I'm very upset my dog came out like this and I paid them for it. I do not recommend going here. Very sad to say my dog this way. read more

I do not recommend. Despite the several reviews that I have seen from other pet owners saying that they have cut their pups, I decided to give them a try anyway because it was highly recommended by a friend. I also wanted to support a family owned business. We brought our pup here to get groomed a total of three times. Every time we received our dog back, he had cuts on him, but I thought it could be possibly because his hair is very curly and was possibly tangled. This most recent time we got him back he had a severe cut on his back paw, causing him to lose a lot of blood. When we picked him up, the groomer was making statements to which felt to me that they were blaming him for the reason why he was cut so bad. The groomer informed my grandmother (who is the person who picked our dog up) to come back the next day, which was on Thursday to get the bandage taken off. Unfortunately, my elderly grandmother was not able to come the next day. So I called on Saturday (since I was off) to see if we could bring our dog back there to get the bandage taken off at least. The person who answered the phone first stated that they were fully booked, then, after I explained the situation, they stated that they were not there. This person showed no compassion or empathy for their mistake, not apologetic or concerned whatsoever. In fact, the person on the phone kept repeating "I told her to come back on Thursday" in a very rude manner. In which again, my elderly grandmother was not able to come back the next day. Our dog is currently in a lot of pain, and will need surgery on his paw. Now we are left with an injured pup who is now afraid of getting groomed and a $300 veterinarian bill and counting. read more

You have lost a customer. I was a long time customer at holiday pets in rialto. I find this place very overpriced. 70 dollars for a small terrier mix. My dogs cut looked horrible and sloppy and choppy her tail looked raggedy also. I don't know who did her cut but it wasn't like before. They also told my son that my dog bit her when they shaved her legs and next time they would charge an aggression fee. My dog is very old and it obviously must have hurt her. She is not an aggressive dog. They told me she'd be ready my 230. So when I hear 230 I'm going to work it around my time not if she's done early. They said if I didn't come by 215 she was going to have to stay overnight. I was extremely disappointed. read more

Took 2 weeks for an appt cause they never answer, they only take cash, which would all be fine IF the girl at the counter hadn't been so incredibly rude. My jaw nearly dropped to the ground watching the interaction between my husband and her. When I dropped my poodle off I said I didn't want to take him home with loose hairs cause he gets itchy and didn't want to have to bathe him after taking him to be groomed like I had to do in the past at another grooming salon. She said they would blow him off and that would take care of any loose hair. Prior to picking him up my husband called to see if he was ready, spoke to the male employee and asked if he'd been bathed after his hair cut and if not, could he be? Because we really didn't want the fuzz and he didn't think blowing it off would be enough. He answered "all dogs get bathed", again he asked specifically about bathing after his cut and he was told "yeah he got bathed". We get there, my dog shakes and tufts of hair go flying, my black shirt and I are covered in prickly fuzz, the girl calls my husband a liar when he told her that the male employee told him my dog got that bath and she says "No he didn't. I was standing right here when you called". My husband says "it's on the recording in the car's camera" She says "Show me. Show me the recording" and then proceeds to tell us that they "don't have time to bathe all the dogs twice" and said "he CLEARLY doesn't have any loose hair anyway sooo..." We were willing to pay more if that's what it took, not argue with her about what she thought was good enough. He pays her the $46 and says we won't be coming back and she answers "That's fine." shrugs her shoulders and rolls her eyes. And based on her replies to other yelp reviewers I can see that's her general attitude towards customers, basically the whole "no, you're wrong" rather than "how can I make this right?" ICING ON THE CAKE: I took my poodle home to bathe him AND fix his jacked up picazo ears when I realized what a creative job they'd done with the scissors Not to mention he looked depressed all day. read more

Would highly recommend this place! Took my puppy as a walk in, and they took her in right away. They gave her thr haircut exactly like Iwanted, and even made her tail look extra cute and fluffy as well. Super nice environment. The ladies are super nice and welcoming, and the prices are great as well. Even went back the next day for my other dog to have her nails trimmed, and I was in and out in less than 10 mins! We come here every few months for the past 7-8 years. We've never loved it but they're cheap and they always have openings (i can only imagine why) they're always so rude for no reason and when they say bring your dog at 9 they really mean 9:30-10 because they won't be there. They have really uneven cuts and can't ever trim all the nails on my pup. They also only take cash which is hilarious just say you don't pay taxes girly. Anyway despite all that they're cheap so why not. Well I bring my dog in this past Monday only to be told my total is going to be $30 more than usual. I mean this girl literally whispers the total to the girl I'm talking to without looking at me and walks away so said girl can tell me more (the blond girl that has the very flattering pictures on the other reviews is the rude one that blessed us with her sweet presence and price change). I understand times are changing and prices need to go up to make a living but come on a $30 difference is insane. I agree anyway because my pup needs it and they say to come back at 12 to get my pup. I'm back at 12:30 (because they are never ready when they say in my 8 years of coming here) and I wait for someone to come see me... and I wait.... And wait.... And wait till someone finally runs up, looks at me stupidly and says he's not ready till 2 and that I must have misheard. Okay, I didn't but tell yourself that to cover your own it's fine. I've made mistakes when working too but you can own up to it but again it's fine. I come back at 2 and to my surprise (not) my dog is uneven and has so much hair and gross flakes on him he covers my clothes and my car AND his toe nails are trimmed so horribly they actually broke skin on my child. They raise the prices by almost half and do even crappier work I just dont get it. If that's how they groom my pup I can just do it myself I mean grooming is a luxury and should look it too right? Anyway I'll be going literally anywhere else. Not related to my experience- but it's even better to come on here to read reviews to see if I'm the only one with a bad experience (I'm not) but the kicker is that the owner goes on and argues with the people reviewing her business. I will NEVER go back to Holiday Pet Grooming in Rialto again. I would give them a ZERO if I could. And I am sharing my traumatic experience my puppy & I had there with everyone I know. He was so frightened & depressed, that he didn't even want to eat & just for two days! And I was SO SAD UPSET, SHOCKED & NUMB, that I developed whelps on my arm that week! Apologies in advance for the length, but here's o experience: I called in advance & made an "appointment" here & was surprised to find out that FOUR other ppl had an appt. for the "same time" I did. Since it was still early morning, I went ahead & left my "Puppy" & explained (both when I called & in person) that I had. YORKIE & wanted a "Brush & Trim" & only wanted his under carriage & private areas "cut" but that I wanted the TOP/BACK LONG. The man told me it would be $30.00. I shared that he was a PUPPY & that it was my FIRST time bringing him for this, so I " WASN'T-sure" if I was explaining myself right. "The OWNER" (identified herself) & told me: I quote: "well, a # ONE is the LONGEST we have." so I said. Ok, then do a # 1 then. Then she said we ONLY take CASH & it will be $40.0‼ I thought they were only going to BRUSH & TRIM around his skirt‼ (I brushed him out, & though they raised the price because they were going to have to "brush again." I had to go get cash & was surprised that they finished more that an hour before promised... When I entered, I kept LOOKING for my puppy, when I noticed one becoming more & more excited in a wall kennel, I thought, said, Don't tell me that's MY dog⁉ He LOOKED NOTHING like my CUTE little Puppy‼ THEY SHAVED ALL HIS BEAUTIFUL BLACK hair OFF & he now look like a GREY SCHNAUZER‼ Which would be ok, IF that's what bread he was‼ WHO would spend LOTS of on a cute LONG HAIRED dog, only to PAY 40 to have it ALL CUT OFF⁉ The (lady) OWNED DIDN'T even offer to give me a discount! I was SO HURT & SHOCKED, knowing it couldn't be UNDONE, I just walked out & like a dummy, left the $40 on the counter. That was about a month 1/2 or 2 ago, but it's also the FIRST time I've EVER written any review & I'm finally able to think about it enough to research & download the YELP appl. & submit this bad experience. (& she also did NOT write my request or desired grooming down on the Puppy's name card, so of course, there was no proof of what my request was, I thought that was convenient of them. I think they just didn't want to bother brushing him out & were in a hurry, so the just BUZZED him. & NOW I've also learned that "a # ONE" is really their SHORTEST CUT‼NEVER GOING BACK‼ I have pictures of my puppy SAD & TRAUMATIZED, I was so depressed or a few weeks. 10-25-18: Replying to your whitewashed reply: Wendy, yes, you are who processed my visit that day. I just so that the public knows, I don't "feel" I had a bad visit, I KNOW I had a bad visit AND experience. You KNOW you didNOT write the groom request on the card until AFTER I returned, because we BOTH SAW it with our own eyes & I watched you write in "bath & Tidy up... $30..". You "don't KNOW why" I asked for him to have his hair cut underneath. & yes, he did need to be brushed out more, which is WHY the fees were $40.00 for the "BRUSHING-out" along with trimming & bathing. That was "my understanding." They way you wrote your reply, you are insinuating that I lied: "you "always" write it on the cards... I do NOT LIE. I can see you are still not wanting to take your share of the situation... yes, I take part blame, for not taking in any pictures to show what I was expecting. & yes, I DID say that I "asked for a #1" ONLY because "you" told me that was the "longest" one you had..." YOU did NOT bother to explain or offer what that would look like, especially after I informed you that I did not know if I explained myself correctly. To the reply I got as I recall you blamed it on us you specifically told my sister it was our fault for letting our dog get knots when he in fact did not have any knots. I have been bringing my pets here for a few years. No complaints what so ever. My dogs are a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle mix. They come in a hot mess with long hair and end up coming out pampered pooches with clean cuts, trimmed nails and sparkling teeth. My cat would get Lions cut haircuts. I had scheduled an appointment without reading reviews and after reading the reviews they were already there so we decided to leave them there. We had a family emergency and wouldn't have been able to pick them up later so we rushed over to see if we can pick them up and pay for whatever service they have had done. When we got there they were very understanding and accommodating to our needs. I was skeptical since it would be a little rushed for one of our pups but luckily everything came out better than expected. Our pups were not harmed in any way and look great for their first cut. They smell great and are happy. The only negative thing i have to say is that they had sooo many littler hairs on their fur and made it itchy for me on the ride home but it could have been because they were rush(will update next time) . This is my new rescue pet after going to this place , their excuse was the pet had matted fur. I have worked in the veterinary field for over 10+ years , with multiple cruelty cases that I myself shaved (dogs ,cats etc) this is the result of a bad clip job , dull cliper blades that they've let get too hot as they shave and they dont exchange for a new clean blade. We called their response was super unprofessional DANIEL said "we cant please everyone ". If the fur was seriously matted that bad that its caused bruising, cliper blade burns , and now painful irritated skin they should've stopped. Obviously this is a task they do not know how to perform with out harming your pet. Would recomend a cleaner , more professional, experienced place where your pet will be safe. OBVIOUSLY the groomers here have very little experiece working with animals they are not confident in their skills and DO NOT know their limitations. The issue at hand here is them harming my pet,and them not owning up to it. There are better grooming places in the area. Would not recommend. Making a report to the Better Business Bureau, local and state consumer affairs, and the local humane society as well. DO NOT GO HERE read more

From the reviews I decided to take my dog here. I have a Bichon Frise 8 month old female puppy. I expected more from Holiday Grooming. I was disappointed & sad for my puppy. She didn't smell good, her nails were left super long, they completely shaved her & was very uneven all over her little body, & cut her toward her back legs & private part... With no fluff to her fur what so ever.... I paid the $46 they charged me but I'm very sad. This was my first time taking her to a groomer. Now it worries me to ever take her to any groomer again... i wish this never happened... My dogs skin is still irritated & healing from them shaving her... So sad. (3) of my Fur babies (shih tzu) had their hair groomed and my Rott had her nails trimmed. The prices are reasonable. They did an awesome job. All four of my babies are senior in age and they didn't seem scared or mistreated. I loved how they looked and they smelled great! The customer service is Outstanding the young lady was very professional when trimming my big babies claws. I loved her confidence and how quick she works def. (5) stars!
