Some of the rudest nastiest people with a the worst attitude. Never anyone at aquatics and fish are dead in the tanks went to get a refund for a fish that died less than 24h of purchase and told me they needed the dead fish in the store. Always messing up prices. Shelf price will say 50% off bc of expiration and they will charge you full price at register. I have been to neighboring pet smarts and this has got to be the worst one. Had a similar experience as some others here. I have a puppy that needed his nails trimmed and they said they couldn't because of how stressed he was. It's his first time at the groomer! of course he would be nervous!! Never seen people whose sole job it is to work with dogs be so unwilling to help and work with a dog. They didn't even take more than 5 minutes to try! I waited longer to check in! Absolutely ridiculous! read more

I took my poor little dog to this horrible place and they burned her so bad with the razor and pulled out a toenail totally. They didn't call me until she was bleeding all over her stomach and on her feet. Then they tried to tell me it was her skin. They took her to banfield and they put some kind of yellow stuff on it that made it look worse but I guess it stopped the bleeding... This is a national chain and for the most part, it's very good. The stores are well stocked with stuff for every species of animal you may own. They get props for not selling puppies (from mills) and they let you walk around the store with your well behaved dogs. Their prices aren't the cheapest (especially if you have time to shop online), but you pay for convenience. Why only two stars? Because it has to be about customer service. My wife and I are members of their loyalty program, Pet Perks and as such we get coupons by email. We went in to buy a giant dog crate for our Great Dane and wanted to use a coupon that was emailed to us. They wouldn't take it off the smart phone ("it had to be printed"). They refused to give us the discount afforded by the coupon and when I followed up with the store manager, she said in a condescending tone: "coupons are pieces of paper..." Firstly, it's the 21st Century, coupons come electronic too. Two, as the store manager you should have the power to make it right. If she isn't given the power to make it right, that's a flaw in the corporate culture (and needs to be fixed), OR if she DID have the ability to make it right and chose not to, they that is a flaw in customer service training (and also, needs to be fixed). Solutions: Accept electronic coupons. If not, give the manager the ability to make it right. Or train them on good customer service, especially for loyal customers. They did help me out with the XL dog crate, thus they get two stars and not just one. read more

My mothers dog requires special ordered food so I use Pet Smart mostly for this, and toys for my little girl and hers. I have never used their hair cutting service as I have my own place for this but generally find a wide selection of sweaters, treats, toys, food, pretty much all you need. A bit pricey on some items but you get the selection. Staff is always kind and helpful so I can get in and out. Taken my dog in several times to but she makes me spend too much money so now mostly go alone!! read more

This store is clean and laid out well. The staff is typically friendly although not terribly knowledgable. Then again, I doubt that you'd get really educated staff at a low pay job like that. They do have most of what we need for our pets though and having it all in one location is convenient. At some point I hope they will begin carrying more high quality dog foods. For now we have to buy that elsewhere. But in general their prices are good for most of the other things we get there on a regular basis. Take what the employees say with a grain of salt, and be prepared to do your own research about things pet related. read more

Worst grooming service ever. I took my cat there for a lions cut and all they did was shave half his body. Clearly they had no idea what they are doing if they think this is a "lions cut". I purchased clippers just to finish what they screwed up. Save your money - don't use their grooming service. read more

Horrible customer service. Acted like they hated their job and didn't want to be there. Couldn't answer any questions, even ones I already knew the answer to but was testing them to see if they had basic knowledge. And got me the wrong animal I had requested which I didn't realize until I got him almost an hour and a half away. Overall have been pissed off about my experience for 2 days now, which is amplified by the fact that I can do nothing about it and am now stuck with animals I have to keep and care for that I don't even want. read more

Just disappointed with this store. Will never bring back my dog for nail clipping. Such a bad job. And closing the door to the store 10 min before close is just so rude. All I wanted was to buy my dog some more bones which I knew exactly where to get them. So arriving 10 mins before close but not being able to get them is simply upsetting. And an employee made eye contact with me through the door and simply looked away. This store is so close to home that it could serve to use for me but I just don't think I will be coming back. read more

We took our dog to have her nails done last weekend. We had to wait a very long time since we had no appointment, which we did patiently. Our dog has been there many times. The groomer, however, told us he couldn't do her nails because she was "stressed", we've never been turned away so we were annoyed. Took her today and now they won't take her without an appointment despite 3 groomers present with only one dog there. The manager took NO action and quite frankly didn't seem to care. We'll be finding another groomer. read more

They do a great job grooming. It is overpriced and you sometimes get surprised with extra charges you werent expecting. Usually its needed though. Petsmart could offer more grooming coupons though bc 60 dollars for a toy poodle is a little much. The girls that work there are awesome. read more

William, the manager at this store, actually hung up on me on the phone today. Explaining they have previously been out of the prescription dog food we need and have to drive 30+ minutes to the next location (only Banfield sites have prescription products), he refused to check stock and told me to check online and hung up on me. When I called back and asked if he hung up on me, he LIED and said because I was screaming at him, which did not happen. He didn't give me time to explain I wasn't anywhere I could check online - and I live 45 minutes from the store and was still awaiting stock to date. We use this location for grooming occasionally, but rarely the same person twice at the salon, so a lot of turnover. There is never more than one cashier open. The store and parking lot always need attention. Most Petsmart locations are starting to look like this, and the staff is always overwhelmed. If they cannot give better customer service, people will go elsewhere, but when someone is actually this RUDE to your face (even though they think the phone hides them), they will quickly learn people will go out of their way to spend their money elsewhere. I will NEVER take my dog back to this groomer. I would expect much better quality for the price and not having my dog a bleeding and burned mess when I got there would be nice too! They brought her out without noticing her bloody paws and nails and when I asked, the attendant said she must have just gotten nervous in the cage. What makes me really angry is that there were three people in that back area who must have heard her (as she whimpers every time she gets even a little uncomfortable) who clearly did not even bother to check on her. The manager was less than helpful and the groomer would not acknowledge the burn marks from the razor on my dog's ears and back. Never have I had such a negative experience with a groomer and I will surely not be back. read more

Good store but Jenny is not a great trainer, I am ending my puppy training with her early because A) I have taught him more myself from books but mainly B) every time she touches his leash she is harsh with him and borderline abusive and then I spend weeks using positive reinforcement to get my pup over the trauma. Don't get puppy training from her. Jake is better with puppies who have a softer personality. read more

Took my dog in for shampoo and nail trimming, even though I had an appointment I was still given 3 hour turn around, I go back 2 hours later my dog had been done and the lady was already grooming another dog, they didn't even bother to call, the next day my dogs eye is extremely swollen, so I can only assume someone was careless and got something in my dogs eye or the shampoo they use causes irritation and they don't bother to inform you.
