The appointment was made maybe a week or two in advance with them sending text reminders/notifications of the appointment periodically. The day of my dog's appointment, I walk inside only for ANDREA (vet tech) to tell me that they were closed for the day... done giving vaccines! I was told that they close at 1 PM and had to move on to another location. There was a guy standing beside her who just stood there like a bump on a log and said nothing (found out later he was the actual veterinarian). I was beyond pissed because WHY would they allow me to make an appointment for 12:55 if they closed at 1?!? I called and spoke with a store staff member (Mary) who was very nice and perplexed as to why they did not accommodate me. She saw me walk inside and be denied service and questioned them about it. Save your time and money and get your animals vaccinated elsewhere as the Vetco staff are very unprofessional.

It's better enough that they don't even have a good selection of things but to close at seven. It's ridiculous. No other store around them in Hamilton Mill closes at that time.

They have ample great quality pet supplies to fit all of your needs. They even offer dog grooming and self serve dog washing. My dog Samantha and I always love coming here and shopping here: I can get her nails trimmed and then bathe her myself (which I always do). After that I always buy and stock up on her favorite Open Farm dog treats (dehydrated beef treats & cod skins) from this awesome place. I also love how they have an awesome and convenient app that I can always shop from (in case I don't feel like heading to the store). They also always have the beast deals and sales on all their products to help you save. I also only prefer shopping here rather than at PetSmart or Petco. I find the deals and sales here to be a better fit for myself. The staff and the owner at this location are always so helpful, kind, friendly, and courteous. Whenever I have trouble getting something off a shelf that is too high for me to get on my own, they always get it down for me as I'm not tall. This place is always so clean and well organized. It is also extremely spacious. I also love how they have beautiful cats and kittens (occasionally) that are available for adoption from the local Buford cat rescue Cat Rangers. The service here is always stellar and top notch. My dog Samantha and I love to say "hi" to all the beautiful cats and kittens they get from Cat Rangers that are available for adoption.

I tried using a coupon as \ when making the appointment but it was not as easy to apply because when making the appointment there is no place to enter the code. She never smiled, didn't ask any questions about grooming (I had to offer what we were looking for), and she didn't get to know my dog before basically dragging her away. (My dog cried the whole way back. Definitely made me nervous for how she would be treated when I was gone.) Neither one of the staff members asked for proof of her rabies shot and I had to ask them if they needed that too. It's a requirement that they have it on file for all dogs receiving services. Makes me wonder if they just don't actually check. My dog looks good, so the grooming is fine. My dog's eyes have been watering since she got home though, so I don't know if they got their shampoo in them or if she was sensitive to the products they used. We haven't had this happen before and she's been going to a groomer for 4 years. We'll definitely stick with PetSmart. They are very sweet to her, actually seem excited to see her, they discuss everything with us before we leave and their customer service skills are much better.

I'm annoyed as I now have to clean the cans, throw away the contents and lug the cans out to the recycling bins. I have to do this almost every time I get an order, which is every three weeks. I'm not doing it this time. I'm taking the cans to my local Petco and they can handle it. Petco doesn't pay me to clean up their messes. More importantly, it's a horrifying waste of food. Animals are starving and I'm throwing away food that perfectly good until Petco decided to pack and ship it. It's a disgrace
