It's not that they make mistakes, it's that they blame and argue. They deflect their responsibility. They don't seem to understand they can be calm, polite, apologize, and move forward. I've been going to this vet for over five years, and periodically one of the staff would just be really unprofessional in their snark. For example, one staff member argued with me for about ten minutes about the age of my cat. Why? Why argue? It was SO ODD. I did not understand why this was the hill she wanted to die on. The receptionist kept insisting my cat was younger than she was. Over and over and over. THEN, I guess the receptionist finally decided to believe me, and she pivoted to insisting that *I'd* put down the wrong birthday, and that's why she had the wrong age. (ARGUE... then BLAME.) I went along with this theory in hopes we could just move forward in the conversation. But I guess the receptionist had a bone to pick and put me on hold to check the initial visit record. She was right fighting. It was needlessly exhausting. Turns out *they* entered the wrong info into their system. It was their mistake all along. So they wasted time, caused undue stress, and blamed the client rather than, say, calmly update the record and MOVE ON. Like a polite, rational person would. That's one of many, many examples. I'd never asked to speak to the manager before, I'd never called them out on their BS. But after YET ANOTHER MISTAKE, I finally asked to speak to the manager. I just wanted them to apologize and to get things rectified. But the manager didn't want to take responsibility. Their staff had dropped the ball, and the manager's attitude was, "well, IF that happened..." This was the proverbial last straw. It *did* happen. The staff member did drop the ball. I don't need to add gaslighting to snark and blame in these interactions. I wish they'd just apologize and MOVE ON. Just be professional. No need to deflect and argue because you made a mistake. If I were one of the veterinarians, I'd be MORTIFIED that my staff was acting this way. The care here is not fantastic enough for these draining interactions.

The cost of boarding was the average for most places, but it also included a groom. My yorkipoo always just gets a shave down with very little scissoring work so there's isn't much fine detail to worry about. However, I do notice that other grooming places I have taken my yorkipoo would something make his cut shaggy and the transition is not as smooth as when he gets his cut at Me & My Dog.

I found Paw Perfect just looking up groomers online in the area as well as reviews on Yelp, but also remembered I had passed their sign a number of times. It was easy to get an appointment and when I got there everyone was very nice. The problem is that it's very hard for me to explain what I want for my dog. Luckily, I was able to talk it out with a person, who I believe was the owner, and felt comfortable with our conversation. They were busy that day but still managed to get her groomed within about 3 hrs and I was overall pleased with the outcome. She wasn't cut quite how i thought she would be but overall I was still pleased, especially since i really don't know how to fully articulate exactly what I want. Pricing was a little higher than I am use to paying. Yes, I would suggest using their services but I would just make sure you fully understand pricing and also properly describe what you want for your pet a little better than I did.

It's not hard to take time off, and they respect your off time. Working in the kennel, although not an awesome job, was a very fun job! I was always allowed to listen to music (wearing a headphone or on a speaker if the students were training) my direct supervisor ended up being one of my best friends. She's the best supervisor I've ever had. We were able to maintain a perfect work/home balance. Work stayed at work and home life stayed at home. The staff are all very close with each other, we would often go out to lunches together and have outside get together, barbecues, bonfires, tailgates. The students and customers who come through are also really great! I've made some really good connects and friends with a lot of cops, sheriffs, trainers, and civilians that even now 3 years later I am still in contact with. CCU makes training fun, realistic, and enjotable. Everyday is a new challenge and getting to know the dogs personalities is so much fun.

I have Mong Mong on speed dial (jk we're only on texting basis) and she has transformed my pup into the cutest dog in the freaking world, not that she wasn't already the cutest dog in the world - she just looks more so now. CONS: Suwanee is a bit far for me so I have to make a whole day of it every time. But with so many restaurants opening up daily, I have no complaints there. There is a bit of a language barrier (I can't say more than a couple words in Korea and prices for a grooming session have gone up over the past couple of years. BUT $80 is not bad for the work she has done for Miffy. And I just show a photo of what I'm looking for and they do a great job imitating what I ask for. STORYTIME: I brought in Miffy for her grooming and she had an embarrassing run in with fleas that I wasn't aware of. I thought it was just her usual cream poodle mix allergies but they calmly called me and told me they found bugs on Miffy and needed to apply flea shampoo to her grooming. Also that they would need to completely clean the entire salon and would have to charge me extra. It was completely understandable and also entirely embarrassing that my pup had found herself some fleas... but I was grateful they found out before it had blown up into a real problem. There were times they would cut her hair WAY shorter than I would ever want for her but they claimed it was due to the knots and tangles. Because let's face it, sometimes I go a few days without brushing her and the rapidly growing fur keeps growing. But after a couple weeks the concern melts away because once the fur grows out, she looks like exactly how I wanted her to look in the photos I showed them. It's amazing! I feel like they go above and beyond to cut my dog's fur and take care of her. There have been times where they have to hold onto her for longer to make sure they groom her appropriately and complete all the services. Just means I have an extra hour of errands I can run, in my opinion! I hope Mong Mong's owner never retires, at least not in my pup's lifetime, because there is no one I trust more with her cut!

The staff may not speak English fluently but they understand well enough and they do an excellent job. I drop her off in the morning and it can take 3 to 4.5 hrs. If you cannot reach them on the phone, you can reach them by text. Although I moved far from Suwanee, I drive all the way to them every month. It gives me piece of mind.
