Although Tucker had already earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate, he was still quite shy and skittish--traits that aren't ideal for therapy work. When I explained this to Jacob, our trainer, he immediately began working closely with us to address Tucker's challenges. I was so impressed with the progress that I continued enrolling him in additional classes. Thanks to Jacob's patient and dedicated guidance, I'm thrilled to share that Tucker has now earned both his AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU) and AKC Community Canine Advanced Good Citizen (CGCA) certifications! Every staff member I encountered at Fido's was kind, professional, and supportive. I highly recommend Fido's World to anyone looking for quality training. In fact, Tucker is now signed up for their Agility class--we're excited to continue the journey! The.

He was not visible in the cameras for the first few days so I'm guessing they forgot to let him out. I've recently heard so many horror stories about this place but this was my first and last terrible experience. It's clear the owners do not care about the dogs or customers, they don't even bother to answer emails about complaints. Update: after sending a complaint via fb, I did finally receive an email back. Although they were sympathetic I will still never board my puppy here again. Since we love the trainer, we will still take our puppy to training with the trainer at Fido's. I wish Gainesville had more options for dog boarding. In the future, we will be driving a ways for an accommodating and caring boarding facility.

She went in perfectly fine & came out with 1 eye completely shut. The next few days her right eye could barely open & when she could open it, her eye ball was droopy. Through multiple vet visits with them, they would never give us an answer about what happened. They ordered us a steroid and pain medication. Mistakes happen, but usually people try to make up for those mistakes. No word about what happened to our dog. "We don't want to speculate", yet they took pictures after whatever incident happened. Obviously something went wrong while our dog was here. We finally decided to get away from this place, went to a new vet. Gave our got an anti-inflammatory and her eye is close to being back to normal. Stay very far away from the grooming service. Dr.Gladden was nice, but I wish she would have decided to give us an anti-inflammatory to speed this process up. All in all we spend over $700 and still have no clue what happened to our dog after multiple questions. We will never go back.

Let's be honest, if you came to…read moreBrowns Bridge Animal Hospital (BBAH) during the days of Dr. Vitali & Dr. Watson, and continued to come to BBAH after they left, you probably have a bitter taste in your mouth. The rotating staff, management and vets that came in after Vitali, et al, left were abysmal. Many/most of the old clients left after terrible experiences, some truly heartbreaking. We, too, left & took our dog to a vet across town, with whom we had no problems. The new vet was nice, competent, we liked him well enough, but it was inconvenient. A friendly letter to old clients announcing a new owner/vet encouraged me to @ least give BBAH one more try. I went to see Dr. Hall w/my 11 y.o lab mix and really liked him. I liked him enough to let him do a knee surgery that she needed. He recommended a less expensive, more conservative surgery due to her age, which I appreciated. He did a great job, was nice, friendly and responded well to questions. But hey, it's still an expensive surgery, so I thought maybe it was just good business for him to be nice pre/post-op and follow-up. Recently, however, my old girl developed a rapidly growing lump on her belly. I took her in, expecting the worst. Initially, he recommeded, not surprisingly, surgical removal. We talked a bit and I expressed concern about repeated anesthesia at her age. We talked about the risk/benefit and we mutually decided to take a step back and go for a "wait and see" approach. He made sure that I was comfortable monitering the growth, even though removal might be the "ideal option". If it grows, we'll remove it, if it doesn't, and its not bothering her, then we'll continue to moniter it. I now feel comfortable he's not just being nice to me (& my dog) because he's looking to do a money making surgery. He recommended the "text book" right answer (surgical removal b/c it grew rapidly), but listened to and considered my concerns and together we came up with a plan of care with which we all feel comfortable. Dr. Vitali left some huge shoes to fill, but I think I have found a vet I am really beginning to trust. I can attest to Dr. Hall's surgical skill thanks to my dog's successful knee surgery. More importantly, perhaps, I am beginning to trust him as a good, honest, thoughtful vet that genuinely cares about my dog. That, as most pet owners know, is a trait that is priceless! If you left BBAH for the same reasons most of us did, consider going back :-) I'm a new fan.

We arrived at 12:10. The place was deserted and the employees were on their cell phones. I was told that they couldn't see my pup because they don't take patients after noon on Saturdays. We were only 10 minutes past the cutoff. Staff was on site and not busy, but still couldn't tend to my injured pup. What does that tell you about how they treat animals? If that's what they do in front of a customer, imagine what goes on behind closed doors! Run, don't walk, away from this vet clinic who clearly does not care for the well-being and health of animals.

We brought our dog there on Aug 3rd, 2022, not knowing Platinum had been bought out. There was no sign of any price increases and they did not inform us of those increases at drop off time. With the old owners in charge, they would call us three, or sometimes four hours later to come pick up our dog. The new owners called a mere 1.5 hours later to pick up our German Shepherd and she didn't smell fresh like Platinum owners made her smell. They told me it would be a extra $10 for two squirts of fragrance. Fragrance? She should be cleaned properly so you don't have to put fluffy perfume cover-up on the dog. We declined the "cover-up" and asked for the total. The gentlemen asked me how much we paid before. I told him $50. He said it would be $55 as they had to raise prices. Ok, we accepted that, but barely two days later our inside dog smelled like she did when we brought her for the bath. Didn't understand why but we presumed that maybe because they had her out in one and a half hours versus three hours likely had something to do with it. So today, September 14, 2022, we tried again thinking last time they were new at the business and maybe they just had a bad day on August 3rd. When I picked our dog up this afternoon I asked what type of shampoo they used last time because she smelled two days later. The clerk said she'd check and came back to tell me they used a different type of shampoo on her today. It was time to pay and, of course, I thought it was $55 like last time. The lady then told me it would be $85. I'm sorry, what? For what? The clerk informed me, "We used the Dremel to do her nails". I replied I never asked for that service, so she removed the fee. Then she told me the new price was now $65. What? Why? "Because she is a big dog", said the clerk. I decided not to argue with her about $10, but to instead "vote with my feet" so I paid $65 but we will never return. Here's a suggestion. Why not tell everyone you, for the second time in as many months, have raised the prices! I departed for home but driving down the road, I had to drop the windows because our dog smelled like the perfume counter at the department store. I will be looking for another place for her to have a bathed. If you decide not to heed my warning and venture inside to have any kind of pet treatments performed, BUYERS BEWARE and make sure you pin K9 Inn down on the price before you drop off your four-legged family member.
