I should've took this as a sign to just leave. Basic human interaction includes being polite and this place can't even offer that. Front desk receptionist needs to learn manners. Also as other reviews mention, their dog has come back with scratches and cuts on their skin. Manners aside, at least take care of the dog. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere to a grooming establishment with better customer service and genuine care for your pet.

The convenience of the mobile service is hard to beat too. It's a little more expensive than service at a brick and mortar building, but it's worth it in my opinion. Maria is working with just one dog --yours--from start to finish--so it's way less stress for your baby. I should also mention that Maria is the best, kindest, most competent dog groomer in the DMV. Full stop. If you have a small dog, don't even *think* about going anywhere else! Reviews may be more common these days than they were a decade ago, but that's no excuse--Dunia has been such a consistent, important part of Bella's life, and she absolutely deserves the recognition. Dunia is amazing at what she does. She always gets Bella's groom just right, and Bella is always happy and relaxed when I pick her up--which wasn't the case before we found Dunia. In fact, even when I lived in North Carolina, I would plan Bella's grooms around trips back to Virginia because no one else came close. The owner talked about how the ticket only said wash and nails. I could leave the dog there for the rest of the day and they would do it but my dog hadn't really needed it. The owner went on to say that if I wanted to bring my dog back in 3-4 weeks, she would just do just the haircut. 4 weeks later, I set up an appointment for just a haircut, and confirmed it right then and there - just a haircut. Yes, they understood. I then confirmed again when I dropped the dog off. They understood. When I picked them up, they had done a full groom, which looked fine but wasn't what i asked for. The owner implied I had misunderstood, but wouldn't address that she had said I could come back for just a cut, and she would not answer questions about why her staff had agreed repeatedly to just a cut. She just kept saying she didn't understand the confusion, and I had to pay $150 because they had done a full groom. she wasn't even aware of how much they charged for a full groom at first. She discounted 20%. Her response to me saying I wouldn't be bringing her my business anymore was, "That's fine". This business is not registered with the BBB. I recommend you go elsewhere, but get everything in writing if you bring your animal here.
