Our pup had the best groom today by Vicki. She was a hot, stinky mess when I dropped her off. When I picked her up, she smelled fantastic and her cut was far better than I expected given the poor home grooming attempt by me. Kudos to the entire staff! Everyone was super friendly.

When i picked her up there was no feedback provided and when i asked which attendant was with her the answer was that they did not know. Ok fine. I didn't like it but the dog was fine. The second experience was absolutely horrible. I brought them a happy, and very energetic animal and i picked up an injured dog whose feet were so worn she could barely walk into my home and she has several small lacerations on her head. The cuts were from another animal that were the result of an incident in group playtime, this is what i was told over the phone. Ands i gave the voicemail. When i talked to the manager i asked why was she in group play since i specified she not be placed in group since she was a rescue and while being an absolute sweetheart she does not appear to play well with others. This information was provided at least twice to the kennel. The manager looked at her file and no notes existed that indicated this. As far as her feet go, the condition of her pads is something that develops over a couple of days. Has any attendant even briefly checked her feet after the pool or considered how she was walking she could have been spared this very unnecessary pain and discomfort she is currently experiencing. I was told by the manager that my dog was seen tip toeing after the pool, this is a understatement of how she is currently walking, she can't walk This unfortunately is a tale of inadequate supervision, and poor care at best. Do not take your animal here. On the plus side i received a 10% discount to make up for their mismanaged care of my dog. The photos show her head after care on the left, and before on the right

When I dropped off my dog last Wednesday, the young man working the counter told me I could not leave my dogs blanket with him because there's kennel cough going around and somehow that spreads it (even though my dog himself was there). Then he read me my dogs profile from 3 weeks earlier and said "2 cups of food twice a day and extra playtime" and I said "yes". My wife picked him up this morning (5 days later) and was not charged for playtime. They asked my wife if my dog had anything with him when she picked him up. Are dog blankets allowed or not? My wife spoke with the manager and she said it must have been miscommunication about the playtime. Did he even get fed? I called and asked for the owner to express my disappointment and wanted the young man held accountable. I was told the owner would call me. 2 hours later the person I spoke with called and said she spoke to the owner. The owner told her to tell me she was off til Thursday and would call me then. I am extremely saddened by the lack of customer service and care we received and won't be using countryside kennels in the future.

**Exceptional Training Experience with Valor Canine Services**…read more We can't thank Scott and the team at Valor Canine Services enough for the incredible work they've done with our dog, Hank. Before working with Scott, we honestly didn't know if we could handle Hank on our own. The difference after training is night and day--he's now the dog we always knew he could be. Scott's dedication went above and beyond. He kept us updated almost daily with videos and progress reports, making us feel included every step of the way. We know Hank wasn't easy, but Scott worked patiently with him and showed tremendous commitment to Hank's success. Thank you to the entire Valor Canine team, especially Scott, for your hard work, and for continuing to check in and answer all of our questions. We're so grateful to have a well-behaved, happy dog thanks to you!

Valor Canine Service is not just a dog training business; they are a true maestro of canine behavior and obedience. From the moment my dog began his training sessions, I was kept informed of my dog's progress daily and it was evident that not only did Valor Canine Service possessed a deep understanding of dogs, but also has a profound love and passion for what they do. Their approach was not merely about teaching commands but about fostering a harmonious relationship between owner and dog. This holistic approach is what sets Valor Canine Service apart for me and, from others in the field. I still implement the follow-up behavior and obedience strategies I was given. I will definitely use this service again and would highly recommend them to anyone. Valor Canine Service thank you! HM

So let me just start by saying that I have been a customer here for probably about 8 to 10 years…read more I've had issues here and there with this practice, but have continued to come back because of the convenience and proximity. The problems I've mainly had in the past are just staff that aren't particularly friendly and veterinarians that I wouldn't necessarily trust with more serious issues. But this last time that I took my Hank there, will be the last time that I will ever take my pets to this practice. Hank has had repeated urinary tract infections, which they treat with the same antibiotic every single time. The purpose of this last appointment was so that I could speak with a vet about the pros and cons of neutering him and whether or not that would be the best option for him and help with his uti's. Everything about this particular appointment was unsettling. I walked into the front door and put Hank on the scale and the lady at the front desk just said who do we have here. I wasn't greeted with a hello....how are you doing......nothing. Just rudeness right from the start. I told her who we were and who we were there to see and she says follow me and takes me into the room and I said thank you and then she leaves. Never asked me how I was doing or said anything at all to me. Then the vet comes in which was Dr. Carey Goehle. Again, the purpose of this appointment was to analyze Hank's urine for an infection and also so I could get some information about neutering him as they had told me that this may help with the UTIs. So every question that I proceeded to ask him, he was clearly getting defensive about. So I had expressed concerns about keeping their weight in check and I was concerned about them gaining weight after they were neutered. And these were just questions and concerns because I'm a first-time lab owner and I have seen and heard time and time again how other lab owners would say that theirs gained weight after they got neutered. Well anything that I asked him, he would take offense to it. Then he recommends that Hank get an x-ray to analyze the size of his prostate. So he doesn't even come and introduce himself to Hank or pet him or anything like that. He simply throws the leash around him and yanked him out of the room. Then he said Hank pooped on the x-ray table. That is because he was scared and he has been on plenty of x-ray tables and has never pooped before. He did not try to comfort Hank in the least bit and you could clearly see that Hank was very nervous. Then we got the results and I told him that I would like to have an estimate to get both of my labs neutered and also teeth cleaning. So he leaves the room and some girl comes in to go over the estimate with me. And one of the things that was on the estimate was the ablation that Dr. Goehle had recommended because of the size of the dogs. So I asked her "this is for both of my dogs right?" and she proceeds to tell me no that the entire estimate was only for one dog. And so I mumbled under my Breath "you have got to be f:ing kidding me". I wasn't loud and I was looking down at the paper and mumbling this. So this girl proceeds to tell me not to cuss at her. I told her that I did not cuss at her and that I asked for an estimate for both of the dogs. Then I asked that she leave the room. The last time that I got an estimate which was less than two years ago to get both of the dogs neutered and their teeth cleaned, the total was $865 for both of them combined. This estimate was almost $1600 for one dog, which also included some antibiotics that he was to take for the UTI before the neutering. But even if you subtract that, that is still approximately a 200% increase, which is absolutely ridiculous and unethical. I am not going to go in there and give these people my business and be treated like this. And these prices are prices that are typically charged by specialists. These are general veterinarians and these are routine procedures. I will take my pets somewhere that is compassionate, and where their services are commensurate with the quality of care. And they sent me out of there without Hank's antibiotics and now I have to wait to get in with another vet to get him treated. All of this was unacceptable.

We hired Brian Ganzler/Pawper Training to train our dog, in his home, to walk on a leash, obey commands and stop eating her poop.  He charged us $2,500 and offered us a money-back guarantee.  When we asked if he could put that in a contract, he said he didn't do contracts and we could consider his texts his word.  That was a red flag. After a month of having our dog in his home, Ganzler did nothing.  She still couldn't walk on a leash, obey any commands and was still eating poop.   We followed all his advice, taking away training pads and putting her in a smaller crate at night.  Nothing he recommended worked. Ganzler claimed he had no time to do leash or commands because he was busy with the poop, but that doesn't take all day and he didn't even do that. She also suffered a mysterious seizure while in his home. After the seizure we had her examined by two veterinarians.  They found nothing wrong with our dog and suspected she must have ingested something or been shocked while in Ganzler's home. Ganzler claimed our dog could not be trained because she suffered the seizure and had brain damage.  Our veterinarians confirmed there was no brain damage.  Certified dog trainers (Ganzler is not certified) said even if there was she could still be training. We asked Ganzler to refund our money as he promised in writing.  He refused to honor his written money-back guarantee. He then said he could still train her in just one more week - even though a month of training did nothing, and he had just said she couldn't be trained. We then offered to let him keep nearly $1000 and just refund the rest.  He again refused. We ended up having to sue Ganzler to get him to honor his written money-back guarantee. He then counter-sued us, claiming we cost him money by not using him for further training. At the courthouse we offered arbitration, and were willing to accept a partial refund. He again refused. The judge heard both our cases.   She quickly ruled against him, noting he offered a written money-back guarantee then refused to honor it.   She also quickly threw out his countersuit, noting he didn't have a cancellation policy and can't just make up his own policies after the fact. Do not hire Brian Ganzler or Pawper Training.   He does not train the dog as promised, refuses to honor written policies, tries to enforce policies he makes up after the fact, then unsuccessfully sues customers.
