They may have pet items but their policy for returning UNUSED cat food cans is crazy. We bought a pack of cat food for one of our fur babies and as most cat owners know they can be picky af. So we only used one can of the set and decided based on that to return it. It's odd because they have cans out in the open but because they didn't have these flavors out as singles we had no choice but to buy the pack. But you mean to tell me that I can't return the unused cans?! Anyway, we donated the rest to a shelter which I guess is better. It's ridiculous that we are punished for trying flavors we'd otherwise buy a single can for to try it first but can't. Petco it is read more

I am very grateful for the excellent care my two cats received at Banfield. Dr. Feliz Benimana treated them with kindness, patience, and professionalism, as if they were his own pets. I would also like to recognize Nu'mila Thomas, who was very gentle and thorough when trimming their nails, both front and back. You can tell when someone truly loves animals. I left feeling happy and reassured knowing my cats were in such good hands. Thank you for the outstanding service! read more

I just left Petsmart. I was waiting in line and another register opened up. Apparently I didn't go to the other register because I thought there was one line. Someone jumped ahead. The customer was threatening and cursing at me. No one at Petsmart did anything or clarified anything. I bought my stuff and walked out in disgust. The guy glared at me and wanted to fight me, but it wasn't worth it. I'm not going back to Petsmart in Duluth. read more

Well I went to this location to return some unopened items due to mistakenly purchasing the incorrect items. I had the receipt of purchase and the items to return. The lady at the front was sweet so this not to make her look bad. She even offered for me to try another location in Peachtree Corners, GA that would be less strict on returns. I wanted to write this review because of how strict this location's management is. I find it really ridiculous that I can't return items that are unopened along with the receipt that I recently purchased from here in under less than a week ago. Even their return policy states as long as the items aren't opened, then it is eligible for a full refund. It makes me not want to shop here anymore and to warn others of this location's STRICT management. To me that is a red flag if other locations are following the actual process and procedures on returns for PetSmart's return policy, especially for items that are not OPENED!!! Beware of the current management at the Venture Dr. Duluth, GA PetSmart location and shop AT YOUR OWN RISK. read more

My husband always stops by this store for fish food and supplies. But this weekend, we added a kitten to our family and shes stolen our hearts! She even won over our resident cat in less the 4 days. The adoption took less the 20 mins. You get a coupon book for a bag of free cat food and 50% off a bucket of litter. We didn't bring a carrier and the nicest lady there let us use one of their carriers as long as we brought it back. Great experience every time we visit. read more

In regards to the Grooming Salon. Our groomer, Angel, truly is one. Midnight had an appointment on May 24, 2023 for a 10:00am drop off. I was running late and traffic was ridiculous. I called Angel and let him know we weren't going to make it by 10:15am. I was very stressed out. Midnight had a comprehensive exam that weekend and I really needed her cleaned up. Angel spoke so sweetly to me. He calmed me down and told me to bring Midnight anyway. He said he'd take care of her! What really astonished me is they were short staffed that day. Angel took Midnight at 10:30am when he could have easily said no. He wasn't even scheduled to work on the 24th. He came in to replace a sick coworker. It's not often I cross paths with a person like Angel, especially in customer service. He made me feel like his only job in the world was to clean up Midnight. And, that he did. She looks amazing. Henceforth, I will go out of my way to schedule all of Midnight's grooming appointments with Angel. This is not to say the other groomers aren't up to the job. They are wonderful people, too. But, Angel is a rare gem I want to keep as long as possible. read more

Today was my pups first bath. Well, kind of. I tried but couldn't take the crying. I was on my way home and stopped in to see if any appointments were available. Luckily, for me Jasmine had a spot available. In addition to his bath and brush he also got his nails smoothed down. Jasmine was so nice and did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend coming to see Jasmine. read more

The groomer tried very hard to cut my anxious pups nails. Unfortunately, she was only able to cut his back paws and didn't charge me. I appreciate her efforts. What pushed me over the edge is while I was standing outside the grooming area, two Petsmart employees made multiple comments about how my dog was upset and laughed, not knowing that they were talking about my dog and I could hear everything they were saying. I found that very unprofessional in an already pretty stressful situation. I also saw an employee spraying a dog with water because he jumped on the door in the doggy daycare area. I thought that was strange but maybe that's their policy. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this location, not even to shop. read more

Duluth ga pet smart . very unprofessional. bad service . or no service at all. they had lazy attitudes did not want to do the job they were supposed to do . kind of rude and instead of looking at me saying the groomer had a problem she turned her back to me and the dog and said to the manager can i cancel this one and the manager said ok. And she returned to the dog she was grooming . she hadn't finished the other dog and happened to be running late instead of saying that she had her manager cancel the appointment we were the last dog of the day so she want to do the job she was in trusted to even if it means a person might have to clock out at 520 instead of 5 pm. i think the person was nt even a professional groomer a kid off the street hired but untrained maybe only 12 years old . i had been to several pet smart groomers around America some good some bad but this one very bad . do not waste your time. read more

This is the most uninviting PetSmart I've ever been to. They don't even turn on the sign after dark, it's like they want you think it's closed so maybe you'll leave them alone. Once inside, it's not much better. Very few people working, huge lines, lots of out of stocks, and heaven help you if you want someone to get a fish for you. Take a look at the bettas they sell in those tiny cups and see how many are still alive. They don't even bother clearing away the dead ones. This store is old and it shows. Extremely run down, and everyone inside seems to have also stopped caring. I'd drive out of my way to go to Peachtree Corners or Johns Creek instead. read more

Rude manager. My dogs got sick off of a bag of science diet in which I've purchased for over 5 years. I have two large breed animals and she wouldn't even allow an exchange even when I purchased this bag of food on the same day. Disgusting. I will never be back! The manager working as of today should not work in a pet lovers industry. So so beyond disgusting. read more

I love this Petsmart!! My little Cheddar gets her ver care and grooming here....She gets affordable and thorough care at Banfield, and gets pretty at the grooming salon. We've been seeing the same groomer for sometime (Ian) and he is so great with Cheds!! On our last visit, he did an amazing job!!! I had trusted Cheddar's care to someone else for awhile (BIG mistake). I got her back dirty and matted and it only took Ian a couple hours to make her look beautiful again....and he always puts cute little bows in her hair!! 5 stars!!! read more

PetSmart Store #284 Lilburn Not even a hour ago I was kinda in distress. I have 2 Dogs, boy Hurricane Hurry Brock ( Pitbull 4) and boy Oynx Black Brock (Mal-Shi 4). I love them very very much, they are my whole world. For the last 4 day I was out of Dog Food for them and I had no way of buying any. God told me to go into PetSmart and ask if maybe they had any that could help me out with. Mind you I have NEVER been thru this STRUGGLE and not be able to feed myself or my pets. I've been a member/shopper of PetSmart since they opened in 1996. Once in side, I asked 2 works if there was any dog food they could help me with. With compassion they stated no and they were sorry. As I was walking towards the door I was jokingly asked by another PetSmart employees, if I wanted to buy 100 cans of fish food. My nerves and pride spilled all out, about my worries and concerns, I just came out said, if I could afford it I surly would but @ this moment my dogs hadn't eaten in 4 days and I can't afford to buy them any food. CHERYL then said, come on I'll buy you some dog food for your babies. I was like NO you really don't have to do that. She said. come on lets go get some dog food. She then started to example to me the different dogs foods and what she use for her dogs and cats, She choose the best recommend, that she know was a GREAT DOG FOOD. Trust me She know her stuff. I walked out with two 34 pounds of Authority Chicken & Rice Dog food purchased by a angel, Cheryl. Tears started to come out. I'm always feeding veteran, seniors, and many people just from the heart. Giving whatever I can to help someone. When I saw that I was receiving what I always give was phenomenal. I want to truly send a very special warm humble THANKS SOOOOOO MUCH CHERYL @ STORE 284 (Lilburn)! She is a very nice down to earth person with a HUGE heart. CHERYL, I really appreciate you and so does Hurricane & Onyx (they ate 2 big bowls a piece Loving every bit of it). I will never forget you or what you did for us. I am very grateful. Thanks for the millionth time. #GIVE CHERYL A HUG RAISE/PROMOTION, SHE DEFINITY DESERVES IT #CHERYL IS AWESOME #GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE #PHENOMENAL PERSONALITY Nina Brock read more

Where to start.. well when I came in I went to ask for my welcome coupon book because they said to ask next time I come in. And just began to stare at me again so I said oh okay well thanks just to break the silence and I went to look for a specific dog food and I couldn't find it and as I walked towards an employee to ask he looked at me I know he saw me and he just walked to the back wel after that I said ok to PetSmart it is and left read more

This is a review for the grooming services. For some reason I can never book the same person twice, and the quality of my pup's groom is inconsistent. Sometimes she looks great but other times she is uneven. They are absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!! I went to buy 2 cans of prescription food, WITH A PRESCRIPTION from my vet! After waiting in line forever (they only have one register open most of the time) they told me that I have to get a prescription card from Benfield too!! I asked why if I have a prescription from the vet? The only answer I got was that it is required ! I went to Benfield, waited there too! to finally be asked about personal information so they can create an "account "! WHAT???? I told the lady I am not willing to share my phone number. She handed me my prescription back and said: sorry, we can't do it otherwise. This store is a scam!!! read more

I went over there to purchase two more fish for my tank and noticed they had dirty tanks. Like REALLY DIRTY! On top of that there was a TON of dead fish! This does not make me want to buy here! Please clean your tanks and remove dead fish! Also, practice what you preach. If your policy states you refuse to allow fish owners to take home a fish that won't fit in their tank please do the same. Make your tanks bigger or something! I saw so many fish cramped in one small tank and like half of them dead! read more

This place has moths everywhere!! I don't know what happened but it didn't have bugs everywhere before! I would give it one star but I have noticed that the mice, hamsters, and rats have WAY more bedding now which is amazing since they are burrowing creatures. Fix the bug problem though... Petsmart grooming is where it's at. I've been here numerous times, and they always do a great job! If you book the haircut/bath with someone from the Academy (students in training), you get $10 off per dog. My pekepoo's grooming cost $35 (that's with the $10 discount) and my maltese was $36 (with $10 discount and with the additional fee from the whitening shampoo). It might be more than my own hair cut, but my doggies always look so CUTE afterwards!! The service is excellent and everyone is super friendly. It makes me feel that they'd treat my doggies the same way. I *love* how they'll also take in your doggies earlier than planned (i.e. I had an appointment at 12pm, but they allowed me to drop off at 10am---scenerios like that). Good for me when I need to do lots of errands that will take all day! I know my doggies are in good hands. They also hand out "report cards" to inform me of what my dogs needed. I likey! read more

We went looking for 2 things - 1) information on boarding the little kitty that randomly adopted us a couple weeks ago and 2) a kitty condo for that lil fella. Oh, and a pink collar. Because yeah, I don't care that the kitty is a boy, he's having a pink collar. Done and done. Alicia in the PetHotel area was very helpful not only on the services offered by them, but also in recommending a vet and just general information on cats. Thanks for taking the time with us, Alicia! After picking our jaws up off the floor when we saw the price of the kitty condo we wanted, we noticed that it was a little beat up. Random strings sticking out and minor cosmetic issues like that. Nothing horrible, but enough to keep us from spending that much money on it. The manager saw us hemming and hawing over them and showed us a few others located on the side by the dog play area. We didn't like any of them. At that point she offered us a discount on the one we loved (the one with the imperfections). We ended up getting a great price on it and we appreciated her assistance! I guess we have a kitty now, so I'll certainly be back. read more

My dog goes to both Banfield and the PetsHotel. While he is not a fan of the vet, he LOVES the PetsHotel. Whenever we walk in he is greeted by name even if I haven't told them who he is...I guess he's a favorite. They seem to take good care of him and they even give report cards to me about how his stay was. Banfield is alright. I don't like how long it can take a vet to come into the room because my dog gets highly stressed waiting. Dr. Noel is a FANTASTIC doc and I would recommend him to anyone read more

I am updating my review bc Kyle one of the managers did reach out to me to get to the bottom of what happened with our dog. Kyle was very easy to talk to and listened to what I went through. He apologized for what happened to my dog as well as the way I was treated. After our conversation I was left with the feeling that he really does have a passion for the animals and he's a good manager so he would get 5 stars . Unfortunately he wasn't who I dealt with from the beginning. Had I just been heard and had some form of empathy in the beginning I wouldn't have escalated this to corporate. They did refund me for vet costs which I feel was appropriate but I really wish my family didn't have to go through having to pick up a sick pup, I wish my dog never got sick and I wish I never had to go through the whole ordeal with such a B read more

Like other reviewers have stated, this area of Gwinnett is declining. However, one wouldn't know it to walk into this store. Yes, all PetSmarts have similar layouts. But what makes one stand out is its staff! I came seeking new food and toys for my canine companions. The staff knew how best to service me, escorting me to the right aisle and giving their insight as to what product would best suit my canine's needs. I also succeeded in obtaining a new toy for fido. I always research online ahead of shopping so that I know exactly what I am seeking and how much it should cost. Thankfully PetSmart was running a sale, B2G1, which dropped my toy to $7/ea. This was cheaper than the various online venders. Yay!! Lastly, I picked up a new tag for his collar. All the tags are laser etched. You pick out and pay for the tag then with the validation number from your receipt entered into the etching machine's computer, it takes your tag and prints out what you type. So easy! Our family friend and companion is all set! Thank you PetSmart! read more
