I spend $100-$160 every 45 days in this store for limited ingredient large breed dog food for my pup who has severe allergies. I bought two bags a week ago, opened them today and the food was not right. Smaller , not brown and moldy looking. Their return policy says nothing about not being able to return opened bags. I literally just opened it. Ran to the store since my dog has no other food. The RUDE insensitive and completely lacking in communication skills manager would only say "we don't take open bags". Well I will no longer shop there and probably not at any other petsmart. Poor policies, crappy website that does not say anything helpful about returns and now $100 worth of dog food I cannot use.

DO NOT GO HERE. We decided to purchase a chinchilla here and the lady was very kind, yet the first thing she told us that he was mean. He was not mean, he was scared. They told us certain information that turned out to be false. Thank god we did our own research. Not to mention the cage he was in while he was at petsmart was for a hamster. Chinchillas need multiple stories to be happy in the enclosure. We unfortunately only had him for 18 days before he passed away. But I just wanted to warn everyone that THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BUY ANIMALS. You truly can only go here for pet supplies, but do your own research.

    My dog's hair cut.

We took our puppy to Atlanta Dog Trainer for the group obedience beginner training classes…read more There were 5 weeks of training classes (4 with the dog, the first with just the handlers). The primary instruction was getting your dog's attention, the commands - sit, down, off, leave it, drop it and loose leash walking. Overall I was pleased with the overall instruction and experience. They did a good job of making sure the dogs didn't invade another dog's space. Homework was sent out each week to work on in sessions with the dog and this helped prepare for the next week's session. Would recommend.

We signed up for the two week board and train as a last effort with minimal expectation. All I can say is WOW!!! Tracy has been exceptional from start to finish and the follow up after he was home was icing on the cake! She followed up daily to give us a report with photos and videos and continued to check in for weeks! We have the sweetest dog and our family could not be happier with our decision to put our pup into doggie school here!! The grounds are sprawling and beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the value far exceeded my expectations. We paid $995 per week, so about 2K total. I looked at some other programs which were about 2,800 with kinda crappy looking properties and very pushy sales people. We are forever grateful to ADT and Tracy! Thank you for our "new" dog!

She is extremely high energy and struggled with leash/dog reactivity, making walks stressful and kept us from taking her basically anywhere public. We did the 2 Week Board and Train program. After training, walks are calm, controlled and actually enjoyable now. We can take her to Downtown Woodstock and other public spots without anxiety -- it's been a TOTAL game changer for our family. Everyone at OTCK9 is professional, communicative and made sure we understood how to maintain everything at home. We love that they offer group classes for life on Saturdays to continue reinforcing the training! We also take crazy Luna to Doggy Daycare and she loves it! Cannot say enough good things about the staff and OTCK9 - Highly recommend!!!

More recently, they've gone above and beyond to support me through a very complex and emotional situation with my dogs. They've made house visits, spent countless hours on the phone with me, and even accompanied me to the vet to help discuss medication options. Who does that? OTCK9 does. They are so much more than a training facility--you and your dogs become family. They are always there when you need them, and I truly mean always. Their passion for what they do shines through in the level of care and dedication they show. I cannot recommend them enough. They will love and care for your dog just as much as you do.

She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

I completed the Basic Course, Professional Course and Advanced Course. Without the world-class training that Joan and Sean provided me, I would not be where I am at today. Both on-line studying/examinations along with book reports and more importantly the hands on training in the class room undoubtedly played a key role in my successful dog training business today. Not only was the personal educational aspect of training beneficial but also the hands on training with my personal canine companion (requirement of course to have your own canine and pass certification(s)). Sophie (my Border Collie) has played an essential role as my demo dog for all of my group and private lessons. She has continued on to become a registered therapy dog. As for the training I received from Jo Thor's, I've gone on to become a therapy dog tester/observer, Canine Good Citizen tester for AKC. If you are looking for a state accredited vocational academy with a nationally known director, senior instructor and founder along with the best instructor (Sean - whom is also a graduate and owns his own dog training business) around? This just might be the dog trainer academy for you! Best Regards, Rob and Sophie
