I do not know what happened but they are no longer a place I would recommend. They not only butchered my yorkiepoo's hair and left him with a few scabs, they called me the next day (I believe one of the owners, a male) told me they choose who they do business with and since I am upset about my puppy's cut then I should not bring him there anymore and he hung up. I will be reporting this business to the better business bureau and continue to spread the word.

I specifically said to not shave him as he is a double coat dog. They completely butchered him. I was very upset. They shaved his underside, descimated his tail and left his coat uneven. In the car, I noticed his beard was all uneven and chopped in layers. I took him back in to ask them to even it up. Instead they got out clippers and began to shave his butt. Between my tears, I screamed STOP and then was proceeded to be birrated, cussed at, flicked off, shoved out the door, have it locked behind me and got the double middle fingers again. All this while I was crying because they claimed "I wasn't specific enough and they did what I asked and cut ovet an inch off my dog." The EXACT OPPOSITE of what I asked. So if you have an Aussie, don't take them here.

Some are wonderful and so helpful but today Keisha and another woman (curly red hair) who rarely speaks was just straight up rude. My husband and I and our two young boys frequent here often- especially when our boy Abe was really sick with cancer. I noticed a few times they would have attitudes but just tried to ignore it. Today we were excited to bring our sweet rescued 5 month old boy that we've only had a week. He had two accidents and they acted extremely annoyed and said nothing just handed my husband over the paper towels and spray. They also were not helpful with helping to find a good food and were just wanting to get out of there. (We got there an hour before they closed) I guess people just think they can behave however and nothing ever be said but that's not how a business operates. We will return to the Barrett one as they are always kind, empathetic and welcoming.
