FANTASTIC experience. My long haired kitty got loose and needed his under carriage shaved after he returned from his little vacation. We were in and out of Kelly's in 15 minutes. Very affordable prices, especially for short notice service like mine. The staff is absolutely amazing. They were a God send. i have taken my dog here no less than 5 times within the last year, every single time to get his nails cut. 2 weeks ago i took him, they cut his nails and brought him back out but his nails still looks extremely long in my opinion so i decided to give it a week then take him back to get another cut. i took him yesterday to get his nails cut and filled as well as his anal glands expressed. we arrived, they took him back, i told them what i wanted done. 5 minutes later i hear an extremely loud yelp and a cry from a dog. i knew instantly it was my dog. a lady rushes out and has me pay, and tells me there's been a problem and the nail cutter guy is gonna come out and talk to me. i'm obviously thinking that my dog bit him or something. nope. they bring my dog out and a lady and a guy walk out. they both start bombarding me with what happened. they told me that his nails got too long and were split in two so when they cut his nails the whole nail came off, which left the quick exposed leaving him in pain and it bleeding. they told me i left his nails too long and that this was my fault. they told me my dog needs to be muzzled and that he tried to bite them. they told me he need dog be taken to an emergency vet immediately to get the bleeding to stop. then they pushed me, my dog, and my boyfriend out and told us not to come back. i took him to an emergency vet immediately. gobi is currently in surgery to have 4 nails taken off so they can heal correctly. i'm not saying this is completely kelly's fault, however i am beyond mad and upset about how this situation was handled. i completely understand that mistake happen. i just don't understand why there was no apology or asking to help or anything of the sort. i was kicked out and told not to come back due to their mistake. kelly i would love to be in contact with you to get this sorted out. thank you. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. It took EIGHT HOURS just for a trim and nails. When I asked why it took so long, they told me to bring him in earlier next time. His appointment was at 9:30 AM. When he got home, he made a beeline for his water and drank like he was dying of thirst. I have a feeling they kept him in a crate for eight hours with no water. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Kelly's Pet Grooming has been my dogs' and cats' groomers for years. I have everything from a 6lb cat to a 150lb German Shepherd mix, and they take great care of them all. Good pricing for a good job. And the bows are adorable! For owners with elderly pets , they did a great job with my elderly cat, who they bathed many times from age 12-17 when she passed. She didn't return stressed, and seemed to really enjoy herself unlike visits to other groomers. read more

I used Vanity Pets in Cartersville, Ga for a few years until they sold out to a young man. He hung my lttle pomeranian and hit him with his fist in his right eye. I have used Kelly's Pet Grooming for years and she does a wonderful job. I refuse to take my Pomeranian and Poodle to anyone else. GREAT WORK KELLY! Keep it up ! read more

My normal groomer was out of town and I decided to try Kelly's. I dropped off my puppy early like around 8am and he was not ready until after 3 pm. When I picked him up they told me that they accidentally cut him with scissors. The cut was about 1 inch and deep enough that they had to use surgery glue to stop the bleeding. The cut was way too short and he looked awful. They still charged me the full fee but offered to pay a vet visit if he chewed the wound back open. Then when I got him home, I found fleas. He was so terrorized that he wouldn't let me put him down for 2 days. I felt horrible for making this mistake. He physically healed from his wound after about two weeks. But his next visit to another groomer made him cry when they started to trim the area where he was cut 2 months before. read more

Keep away from this place. Filthy. Cockroaches everywhere. After keeping my fur baby locked up in his carrier for over 5 hours, told me (at 2 pm) that it would be another 4-5 hours before he would be ready. They lied and told me he had been bathed, when I told them that I will just pick him up and pay for the bath, they admitted they had not bathed him, He came home infested with fleas. While I waited to get my dog, a lady who brought her dog in for a nail clipping, was brought right into the grooming area and tended to, when I knocked on the glass to get attention, they told me to wait until the other dogs nails were done. Then some guy with a beard took 3 seconds from what he was doing, grabbed my dogs carrier and swung it to me. Told me to never come back, HA-HA...I will do whatever I can to make sure no one ever goes there to have their pet neglected and subjected to what my baby went through. Disgraceful read more

Recently I took my dogs in at 8:30 for grooming. (Drop off is between 7:30 - 10:00 am) At 3:00 I checked in to see how things were coming along, and they said it wouldn't be until 5pm. That's nearly 9 hours to groom the dog. Apparently they don't offer 4 hour windows to minimize how long the dogs are crated. When I got home, and further examining my dogs, the simplest grooming was a summer "puppy cut" / light shave, nothing fancy or detailed. I noticed large 'gouges' on the dogs chest where he had been 'hacked. The smaller dachshund who doesn't have much hair to begin with, with the exception of her paws and tail were a mess - uneven and not clipped very tight. I decided to give them a call and share my disappointment and ask if this was a different groomer than in previous visits. I left a message, along with my phone number to discuss. You would think that a simple return phone call to their customer would be a priority. Apparently no t. I wasn't asking for my money back, just the courtesy of a phone call to discuss the situation and share my disappointment. Each time I take the dogs it's approx $125 and I am a generous tipper. Let's say that's 8x a year for a total of $1,000. And if I tell just 5 of my friends with similar grooming expenses NOT to go to this groomer, that's a potential loss of more than $5,000 in business in just one year. Statistics say we tell 10 people about our bad experiences. Well, I'm sorry to say that it was been two days without any call back and I told more than just a couple of friends. Shame on you Kelley's Grooming for not making the time to call back a customer. There are many groomers in the area and you won't be my next choice. read more
