I would strongly caution anyone considering boarding their pets at Regal Beagle in Dallas, GA. When I dropped off my two puppies, I was quoted a total price of approximately $429 for their stay. However, when I returned to pick them up, I was presented with a bill of nearly $600. When I questioned the difference, the employee who assisted me at drop-off acknowledged that multiple prices had been discussed but could not remember the exact amount she quoted when I made the decision to board my dogs. Rather than taking responsibility for the confusion or attempting to resolve the situation reasonably, management and several staff members came out and insisted that I pay an amount that was significantly higher than what I had been quoted. The interaction quickly became confrontational and unprofessional. The manager was rude, dismissive, and even threatened to call the police because I did not want to leave without my dogs while trying to understand why I was being charged hundreds of dollars more than expected. Businesses that care about their customers should honor quoted prices or at least work toward a fair resolution when there is a clear discrepancy. Instead, I was met with hostility and a complete lack of customer service. Based on my experience, I found the pricing practices misleading, the staff unprofessional, and management unwilling to take accountability. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend leaving your pets in the care of this facility. read more

Don't bother. Too expensive and communication is poor. I have three Golden retrievers that originally were going to get groomed by their mobile grooming service, however, $155-165 for basic bath/brush of each pet without a multi pet discount is ridiculous. You only need to drive once, not three times. Then I switched my appointment to in office. I was not informed, until I arrived with all three dogs, that ALL vaccines needed to have a veterinarian sign off, as the Bordetella & DA2PP I had given from tractor supply was unacceptable. *As a 25 year medical coordinator/supervisor/technician in the veterinary field I have always handled my pets this way and NEVER had a problem with grooming until now.* I'll be happy to find another business and be sure they enjoy their much deserved tip after caring for my, healthy & up to date on vaccine Goldens. *The groomer I had in Colorado, had a refrigerator with Bordetella incase you needed to update/ administer one on the spot. read more

BEWARE!!! I've given this place multiple try's with the dog play time thing but my dogs always come home super scared and acting like they have been hit they hunker down and flinch hours after I pick them up I think something fishy is happening there so please be careful I explained to them what was happening with my dogs but they brushed it off saying they would never do anything like that read more

Awful experience. We have given this place so much business. They booked our dogs and we went to drop them off and they said "we can't take them because we need an updated vaccine." They told us on the phone on a recorded line that we didn't need the updated vaccines before this stay. So we missed our flight because of it... safe to say we won't be using them for boarding or grooming anymore. read more

I took my dog over here for a first time visit. " A meet and greet". The Staff was great and friendly. But they would not let me inspect the facilities. This bothered me They gave me lots of reasons. I left my dog there for about 3 hours then picked him up. All seemed fine. Then it started. He was freaked out and hide from me. Later I could see he was so upset and still hiding. I must say, something went on at this Place with my dog. I do not know what, but I will never take him back. I know my dog and Never have I seen him so upset. I have boarding him lots of times in another such establishments. Personally, I think some thing is going on in this place. Sorry to say. read more

Kelly M. I made resverations (boarding) for Ali. The Staff at the Regal Beagle is truly Amazing. Nick and Diana who worked up front with scheduling Ali boarding stay were very attentive and informative asking all my questions. Furthermore they eased my concerns about boarding Ali with The Regal Beagle. Ali stayed in the Plush Suite....he received a rating from the young lady who attended to Ali all smiles, loving and warm. I recommend everyone to allow their dogs or cats to be boarded with The Regal Beagle. I will be using The Regal Beagle everytime I go on vacation. read more

Great grooming by a lady of the name "Misty" !!really gets my yorkies looking great everytime and I've been going for a while now. I recently went out of town and decided to board my dogs here for a few nights but when I got my babies back and they both had kennel cough!?! It's really upsetting because I paid $200 to have my dogs returned to me the same way I left them, won't be coming back unfortunately. read more

We have a 1 yr old Goldendoodle, Luca and I just had my first boarding experience ever and it was great! Our daughter had her first out of state soccer tournament so we HAD to board him and we've never done it before with any of our previous dogs either. The place is 5 minutes from where we live and the reviews seemed positive, so we gave them a shot and we're glad we did. He got a bath and brush while he was there and he looked perfect at pickup. They even allowed me to leave fresh strawberries as a snack. We already have our summer vacation boarding scheduled for Luca! read more

I don't like giving bad reviews but - here goes Getting them on the phone is not easy. It's annoying to have to keep calling & calling. But when they have your pet, its beyond time for them to be done and they don't answer the phone and my calls keep getting cut off, that is called panicking. They finally answered when I was on my way there. I told her I had been calling and being hung up on for about 20 minutes. She laughed and said that's what happens when we're busy..hmmm I pulled up and I was the only car/person there picking up..Busy!? The groomer did a good job but honestly I have never been to a place that didn't. Its about customer service. These just aren't some animals they are beloved family members. When you have the responsibility of one of our family member we need to be able to reach you. We need to believe what you say on your website is true. I will never take Ellie there again. Covud gas them coming to the car which I understand but they took her collar and leash off and didnt have one if thise throw aways to put on her. She's small, 16 lbs but she can be frisky and they are right on a busy highway. So today I asked them again to please put a leash on her when they brought her out. read more

Update 7/16/19 - New owner has revived this place to its former glory. Boarded both our Golden and Husky the week of 7/1/19 in the super suite and couldn't be happier. They now type in all feeding and medication instructions into their system so the employees have clear concise instructions on your pet's daily routine. Shawna is still with them after all these years, and recognized us as soon as we entered. Both dogs always get a lot of attention and love from her. They took the time to call me after I completed their survey to see what they could do to improve anything. We will definitely be back. read more

I have been using Regal Beagle since 2016. I have asked every time I bring my dog to get a bath and a brush out that please take him out to go to the bathroom. They have never tajen him out to use the bathroom. I know this because he goes to the bathroom for about 6 minutes. They also do not clip his nails or do a sanitary trim like I have asked. I know this because I check him out. I will not be using this place anymore. My dog is my child. read more

Absolutely ridiculous. We had set up to pick up our dog before 5pm (when they close). When we arrived, we were told that they had closed early today. Evidently they called at 10:50am to tell us they were closing at 11am. Unprofessional. Untrustworthy. If you love your dog, don't trust these liars. ***UPDATE: Owners are threatening to sue me for giving them a one star review!!!*** read more

BAIT AND SWITCH I called to get the price for trimming my cocker spaniels nails, trim his pads and a sanitary trim. $15. This is the usual price I have paid at several groomers. This place is awesome!!! I have a great Pyrenees puppy(6months) and they were so good with her. From the moment I dropped her off to the moment I picked her up she was so happy. The people are so nice! It's super reasonably priced. I paid 30% more at the groomer I was going to before and this one is so much better. I've never seen my dog so bright white before. Thank you Regal Beagle. I will most certainly be bringing my pup back to y'all every time!!! read more

I have been using The Regal Beagle for about 6 years now... I have been in a few times and everything has been great with my 2 dogs. I asked to meet the new owners just because.. I was able to meet one. She was super nice and she spent over 20 minutes of her time giving me a tour and explaining about her back ground (which was impressive). I always have and still do LOVE The Regal Beagle and will continue to go there! My 2 dogs have always loved it there, and still do! Regal Beagle is a joke. We dropped off our dog today for grooming. Upon picking him up my wife noticed he wasn't acting right. We were told to take him to the Vet. So after calling them to let them know our Vet bill was $280 they said it wasn't their fault. Jennifer the owner called and said I was rude and dumping on them. Are you serious? What kind of POS is this person. I will never take my dog my dog here again. read more

I came in for a nail trim because the website said $7.00 for walk-ins. When they were done they charged me $15 and wouldn't give me the price their website quoted. Unethical and not the way I would run a business personally. The manager said, "I guess we need to update that." No help- and I'm not the person to make a scene or complain so I walked out. read more

This is NOT a good place to board a cat. I honestly don't think they should even offer cat boarding. Our cat is the sweetest, friendliest cat. He doesn't even squirm when he gets shots. He will show his belly to people he met 5 minutes previously. Yet because of the atrocious set up of this boarding location, he turned into an aggressive hissing mess for the first time EVER. I feel like an idiot for not asking to see the set up before leaving him there. My boyfriend and I almost started crying when we saw it. The cat room is tiny, and it is smack in the middle of the dog kennels. Our cat is not good with dogs. The echoing from the barking was so loud that it drove me crazy after 5 minutes--our cat was there for a WEEK. It's not soundproof, separated, or in any way suitable for cats who are not used to dogs. This is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1--we should have inspected instead of assuming they'd keep the cats decently separated from the dogs. I'm also irritated they never called us and told us he was being aggressive. You would think they would want the owners opinion and advice on what to do and why he is being this way. Instead they chose to be afraid of him and not try to find a solution to the problem. I'm frustrated we paid $100 for what we assumed would be a safe, happy environment for our cat, and instead he spent an entire week stressed out and upset. They failed in their job to provide our pet with a safe environment. We will not be back, needless to say. This seems like a great place for dogs. Some may say this is common sense given the dog themed naming of the business--but again...why offer cat boarding if you are not going to make it a safe environment for ALL cats? I also want to clarify my cat has boarded before at places that had better separation of cats and dogs and had no problems. We chose this place out of convenience on our drive to the airport from our house. Next time I'll be sure to drive out of my way. read more

Glad to have chose to board my dogs here, while went out of town. The staff was competent and welcoming. The facility was clean and did not smell like a dog kennel, unlike several that I visited prior to making the decision to keep my pups here. I had them groomed before picking them up and was very pleased with the result. I like the option to have a clean set of dogs prior picking them up, incredibly helpful after a week long stay in boarding. Definitely, will not hesitate to bring my dogs back. read more

Called them this morning to see about having my dachshunds toenails clipped. Was very hesitant to call after reading the reviews. Not so much about the service but about this person named "Jackie". I asked my questions and asked if Jackie was still there to which I was told "No she is no longer with us". Thank god because I don't deal well with rude people. So after talking to Eric we took our babies up there and yes I will be taking them back on a regular basis. Eric was nice and professional and he even remembered me from just talking to me on the phone. Well worth the money (wasn't a lot) to have professionals care for my furbabies! Thanks Eric and The Regal Beagle you now have a new customer!! read more

Cannot say enough about how much I appreciate everyone at The Regal Beagle! The new owners are not running this place well. I tried to communicate with them about my recent problem but they couldn't be bothered to call me back. After giving explicit instructions on their website and in writing when dropping off my dogs, my dog was not given his anxiety meds and came home with a twisted stomach which required surgery or euthanasia. We chose the expensive surgery and are lucky he's still alive. No one told us that he was experiencing anxiety when we picked him up. It wasn't until we called back that they told us he was having trouble when being groomed. Please don't put your dog at risk and use the Regal Beagle in Paulding County. read more

Jackie the receptionist is rude rude rude!!! I called to cancel my dogs appointment well within the cancellation policy and she got snippy with me as if I was not allow to cancel. She expected me to explain to her why I needed to cancel. Really Lady??? I called back at a later time to reschedule and she was still rude and told me to go elsewhere then hung up in my face. I will never take my dog back there. Get rid of Jackie and I might give it another chance. Jackie needs to learn customer service skills before attempting to run the place. read more

Our dog trainer recommended this grooming salon to us. Took my German Shepherd mix here last week and I couldn't have been happier with the results. The customer service was excellent (Jackie at the front desk as well as on the phone) and the haircut and grooming my sweetie received was wonderful! She looked absolutely fantastic. My dog is a momma's girl who doesn't like to be anywhere but with me at all times. She is pretty skittish around strangers and likes things the way she likes them. They treated her very well. Highly recommend! read more

This place has gone down hill, since the first time we boarded our dog. I think they are too big and their hours of actual time in the building, too little. My dog has never pooped in a kennel before. He is an adult dog, and if given the right amount of time to go out, he can hold it for at least 13 hours. If you are leaving the dogs unattended for that long, you need to rethink your business. They Han ded me his bed in a bag and didn't even say there was poop on it. What an awesome thing to unfold and have flung into you (insert sarcasm). His nose is raw. Never had that happen before, either. What happened to the girl who used to check the dogs in and out? Brandon needs some training. It's all business there and nothing to indicate that they like dogs. Not the kind of place I want to drop off my fur baby. read more

I'm finding a new groomer. I've been bring my dogs to get groomed here for 15 years. My elderly dog was there for 7 hours today.
