    Stay away from Pet Smart and their deceptive products! I have a dog with dry and cracked paw toes, so I researched balms that could heal them. I saw Paw Balm and figured Pet Smart would have it so I went there. They didn't have it, but I saw a container of Top Paw Nose & Paw Balm. I figured that would work. After I purchased and started using, I discovered that the container is about 1-1/2" tall. But when I started using this product, I found that there is an interior floor that is half way down, so you only get 3/4" of product. Top Paw is made by/for Pet Smart, so they are purposely deceiving the customer in order to increase their profits. This little container cost $8.99 and wasn't even full of product as the outside depicts. To provide this little of product and charge $8.99, they can kiss my... I will no longer shop at this store that gets products made for them and design them to deceive the customer. Not a good business model, especially when I will have an easier time to purchase from Amazon for future purchases. I will wait the extra day and get quality products from reputable companies.

    This PetSmart is average. I have been to many, many PetSmarts as I have moved around a lot and this one isn't the greatest, but also not the worst (North Carolina PetSmarts are awful!!). They do not have a banfield hospital at this location which I find very odd considering most PetSmarts do. It is extremely inconvenient for me because this one is closest to my home but now I have to travel to either the the one in Aurora or Oswego if I need to take my dogs to a Banfield. The store is pretty clean but lacks employees. It doesnt seem like anyone is ever working there and if I am shopping around I can never find anyone to help me out unless I go to the cash registers at the front. I went there this morning to drop my dogs off for a grooming appointment at 7am. I rang the bell at the front since they are not opened until 8 or 9. It took someone forever to answer the door for me. He was not in a petsmart employee uniform, had a bandana around his head, and didnt speak english. I was concerned that maybe I was entering a hostage situation because no employees were around and this guy looked like a gang banger. He walked away and went to the employee only room where he grabbed me someone who actually worked there. My nerves eased up a little bit. So, this guy tells me to hold on a minute so he can clock in. Its now 7:05. We go into the grooming area, and he tried searching through the book and told me I wasnt scheduled for an appointment. Bullsh*t I wasnt! I told him to keep looking. Fortunately I had remembered the girls name I talked to the day before and explained to him that i did in fact have an appointment and that a female was supposed to be grooming my dogs. He lolligagged for the next few minutes until another female employee showed up. The girl who was supposed to groom my dogs. It was now 7:15. The guy told her my situation and she asked me if I had my dogs rabies paperwork. Are you kidding? The girl I talked to yesterday was supposed to call Banfield and get that information before I showed up. So now I had to wait for her to get that information. It is now 7:20. Finally she took the dogs and I was out of there. I know it wasnt her fault, but it was still quite frustrating. She had apologized and thanked me for being so patient. Around 10, my husband went and picked up the dogs. They looked great and she had done everything just as we had asked. I was pleased. The prices for grooming are pretty expensive. I think it was 65 per dog for a basic bath, haircut, and nail filing. It hurts my wallet. I will continue to go to PetSmart because although it is expensive and sometimes they slip up and make mistakes when scheduling people, they do a great job on my dogs and they are friendly, especially towards my dogs.

    This petsmart is alright. The floors are clean, they've never run out of products I needed. My problem is with their grooming services. My brother took my 10 month old Havanese puppy there asking for a trim and for a bath. They said yes and told him it would take a few hours. When my brother went and brought home the dog, I was literally in shock. They had shaved all four inches of white fur off of my dog. As dramatic as it sounds, I was completely mortified. If you have a long-haired dog DO NOT bring it to petsmart's grooming. You will regret it like crazy.

We initially believed we had found an ideal groomer because this facility promotes dog interaction, similar to a puppy daycare environment. Socialization was important to us, and during our first two visits everything seemed excellent. We were able to see our dog playing and interacting with other dogs on the live cameras, and he appeared to be having a great time. However, during later visits, we noticed a significant change. Our dog appeared to be kept in a crate from the time he arrived until pickup. We raised this concern with the owner, who assured us this would not happen again. Based on that reassurance, we decided to give the business another opportunity. Unfortunately, during the following visit we experienced the same issue. Our dog was not visible on the cameras and appeared to have been crated again. When we addressed this, we were told it was due to a miscommunication among staff members. We were again reassured that the issue had been resolved and would not occur in the future. Today, after not seeing our dog on the cameras for approximately two and a half hours, my husband called the facility to check on him. The staff member who answered the phone was dismissive and did not allow my husband to fully explain the situation. We referenced our previous conversations with Chris, the owner, who had assured us this would not continue to happen. The staff member responded that Chris was not present and stated that she needed to check in all dogs before allowing ours to be cage-free. At that point, our dog had already been there for two and a half hours, which raised further concerns for us. Due to the circumstances and the manner in which the call was handled, my husband informed them that he would be coming to pick up our dog immediately, as we were not comfortable paying for services where he remained crated the entire time. When my husband arrived, our dog was simply brought out and released to him. There was no explanation, acknowledgment, or apology offered. Based on our experience, I encourage other pet owners to ask questions and ensure they fully understand how their pets will be cared for during their stay.

If you didn't want the business there's better ways than to just ghost customers. ‍ We wouldn't have taken it personally. It's the ghosting that's an issue. Seems like it's a common issue across the mobile pet grooming industry anymore. Extremely disappointed. For what it's worth, we were very pleased with their first two grooming sessions.

    Not a Maltese cut!…read more Before booking, I asked multiple times for a groomer experienced with Maltese and a specific Maltese cut. I was told: "I've done plenty Maltese I've been grooming for 9 years." The first photo shows Baylin in her full coat before grooming. The others are Baylin the day she was groomed and weeks later, showing how poorly the cut growing out. I requested a proper Maltese shape, trimmed right off the floor with no straight lines. Baylin is only 3-4 pounds, so experience matters. The result was not a Maltese cut. I contacted the owner weeks later to give feedback only, not to request a refund. The responses were: * "You had no complaints when there this is days after the groom" * "Request the other groomer or go else where" * "Beth would be more then happy to service you" * "And I assume that's the day of your groom correct ?" * "Days after to complain makes 0 sense beth would be more then happy to service you eliza is no longer here." After that, communication stopped. This service cost $120 +$40 travel fee (not including tip). Posting for transparency.
