    Ear missing
    Ally M.

They cut the tip of my dog's ear off. You may want to go to a more carful groomer. I dropped Archie off on the 28th of August for his normal trim. We got a call a few hours later that was ready. When I picked him up they informed me there was a 'small cut' because he had turned his head. I paid and left. When I got home I found the tip of his ear had been snipped off, something that had to hurt and would never grow back to normal. I called the store back and confirmed the person I spoke with had never actually seen the injury, myself and vet were never called, and they could not issue a refund. I had to email the owner, who never responded, to get a call back later offering a refund. Cutting off a pice of someone's dog is not okay! Not calling the owner immediately and offering to take them to the vet is not okay!

We LOVE spotted paw! Have been taking rosebud to JoAnn our favorite groomer for over 2 years and she is always so sweet and caring with her! Brian is wonderful and so knowledgeable as well! Would definitely recommend taking your dogs here for exceptional care!

I tried Spotted Paw Shop for grooming today and we will definitely be going back! We've tried a handful of groomers over the last few years and finally found one at our doggy daycare that we really liked! Fast forward to the second groom and the groomer was no longer there so we have been on the hunt for a new one ever since. I work in Wheaton but live in Schaumburg so I decided to try and find somewhere out near Wheaton who we might like. I came across Spotted Paw on here and decided to give it a try after looking at their photos and reviews. I called a little before 8am and spoke with Brian. He said they could actually fit us in today at noon. I can NEVER get a same day or sometimes even same week appointment other places. We got there at noon, discussed with the groomer what we would like done, and they said they'd call us when Rosco was ready for pick up. I was a little nervous waiting for the call. Hoping Rosco was ok and behaved himself. Wondering if he was calm or a little freaked out about being somewhere new alone and having his hair cut. Turns out there was nothing to worry about. I got a call around 2:30 saying he was ready. We headed over to get him and LOVED how he looks. Hair is cut beautifully and evenly. Hair between his foot pads is great. Nails are trimmed, ears are even. You can see his face and he smells heavenly! He even got the cutest little summer bandanna to accent his new look. Thank you Spotted Paw Shop for taking such good care of my fur baby and us. We will absolutely be returning.

This is why spotted paw doesn't do doggy daycare anymore and lied to us!! Avoid this place at all costs Now they are in the strip mall by fox bowl!! This is from 2015. I had to get a lawyer for them to pay my vet bills! ATTENTION ALL DOG LOVERS! DO NOT bring your dog to spotted paw in Wheaton for daycare! When I picked Mar and Bent up from daycare yesterday next to the TJ MAX they said Mar got a "little" scratch on her paw from playing so they bandaged it up. I didn't think of anything bad because she hates anything on her feet. They said she was walking and playing fine until they put the bandage on. When they brought her out She couldn't even walk on her front left paw. I GOT home and Matt unraveled bandage and its was so bad! We rushed her to the vet and on the way realized she also had puncture wounds on her neck ear and Cheek because matts shirt was soaked in blood. Matt called again instantly to get an explanation of the new wounds we found and they played dumb and acted like they knew nothing about it. The vet said she needed staples in her paw but didn't feel comfortable because the bite was too deep and most likely will still have bacteria in it even tho they flushed it out. Poor baby can't even walk for a good 5 days. I've always felt super comfortable bringing them there hence the thousands I've dropped there the past three years. But today they really screwed up bad. They lied to my face and didn't call me when my baby got attacked!

Inconsistent Policies and Customer Service…read more I have been bringing both of my dogs to The Barking Lot for grooming for over a year. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have left me extremely disappointed. On one day, I brought in one of my dogs and was never asked to provide proof of his rabies vaccination, even though I had the documentation with me. The very next day, I brought in my other dog. He was approximately one month overdue for his rabies vaccine, and I had already scheduled his vaccination appointment for the following day. When I arrived, a different employee asked for his rabies tag and refused to accept him for grooming because I did not have it. What frustrates me most is the lack of consistency. If proof of vaccination is required, that policy should be applied equally to all customers and by all employees. Instead, one dog was accepted without any verification, while the other was turned away the next day. To make matters worse, when I later attempted to schedule another appointment online, my request was simply rejected without any explanation or communication. Beyond these issues, the front desk experience has often felt unwelcoming, with interactions coming across as passive-aggressive rather than customer-focused. I understand and respect the importance of vaccination requirements, but customers deserve consistent enforcement of policies, clear communication, and professional service. After over a year as a customer, this experience has been very disappointing.

Needless to say, we looked elsewhere for care. While on the operating room table the new vet told us he was fine and needed no surgery. He's running like normal today with no surgery. Second dog was brought in to Noah's Animal Hospital in Wheaton with joint swelling and in respiratory distress, and what do you know, they diagnosed her with a torn ACL. I told the vet they were wrong, and they re-diagnosed her with Lyme Disease without a test, gave a script, and sent us on our way. 12 hours later she passed. 12 hours after seeing a vet that saw nothing emergent. 12 hours after Noah's Animal Hospital wanted to perform a knee surgery on my dying dog. 12 hours after it took someone with an art degree to tell them there was something other than a bad knee going on. If you love your animals, Noah's Animal Hospital in Wheaton is the last place you should seek care.

Dr. Olech was honest with me about his diet and his health and the way his cocoa puffs should be. The fruits, greens, and veggies he put in the comments i bought what i could find. Ive been doing what he told me as well with his pellets, head tilt, fruits, greens, and veggies. The receptionists were amazing as well. The adorable kitty DJ was so gentle with my rabbit licking him, grooming him, sniffing him. DJ was so curious as well. Hes friendly too. The coffee is yummy (cinnamon). Its so clean in the lobby and the exam room. Dr. Olech and his vet tech were again gentle with Claymore. I'll be there again for Claymores appointment next year too!!!! The atmosphere is welcoming. I walked in and i felt calm knowing Claymore was in good hands even though ive never been to his office before. Claymore even booped Dr. Olech which he doesn't do to just anyone, only if he's comfortable. Ill be staying with Noah's Animal Hospital for a long time as well. Thank you Dr. Olech and Vet team
