I agree with other reviewers that our dog's grooming has always appeared nicely done... and I always felt like the dogs were in safe hands when Brienne was working there. However, after dealing exclusively with the owner the last several visits, we have had serious misgivings about the safety of our dogs after we drop them off. The owner appears annoyed not only when we have dropped the dogs off but we have picked them up too. On our last visit when my bf went to drop the dogs off (scheduled appointment), the owner gruffly demanded "what do you want" when he walked in..." Ummm I am just dropping the dogs off-we had an appointment"...(wth)?? Then she rudely takes them in but without so much as a simple acknowledgment or even an 'I appreciate your business' chit-chat. This was the last rude straw. If she is that foul-tempered and rude with her human customers EVERY TIME without fail (loyal paying customers who tip well), then how does she interact with our dogs when no one is around to see/know what she is doing (especially as both pups are rescues that tend to be very anxious)?? Time to find a different groomer for sure!! Think twice about bringing your sweet pup here. read more

I used to take my Bichon to Sandy and she did a great job. I don't have my Bichon anymore as she went to Rainbow bridge. We now have a large Lab and when I recently brought her by (I called first) to have her nails trimmed. Worst experience for my poor Lab. She was very careless and my dogs nails were uneven and two were cut to bleeding. She is working her store alone - as far as I can tell. I can also tell somethings have changed. No other groomers anymore. Groomer seemed overwhelmed and ill-tempered. I wish she would shut down if she is obviously have some issues. Never going back again. read more

I've been going here for over a year now and my experience has been great every time. I've been to numerous groomers and my dog would always come back injured whether her nails were too short and she was bleeding or limping. My dog also has terrible anxiety but sandy has always said she does good and never complains about her anxiety. Finally I feel safe at a groomer. Sandy always grooms my dog. This is the WORST groomer ever. Dropped the dogs off and the groomer b*tched at me for not scheduling enough time to get done what's needed. Not my problem. Theirs. My wife claims they were told when scheduling what needed to be done. Haven't been treated like that by any business...ever (and I've been around a while). Hopefully the dogs don't receive the same treatment. I was tempted to leave with the dogs and reschedule somewhere else. At least we won't be going back. read more

My pups have been going for years, to see Brittney. One of them is a very "nervous" dog, but as time has gone by, he certainly seems less anxious when going there. So I know she is doing right by them. hey have never had a bad cut- although, due to finances, I sometimes string out the time between grooming. I appreciate her patience with that and try to improve my brushing time on them between visits. I once had to use Sandy to groom the dogs- because Brittney was not available. I was surprised that it costed reasonably more. We all love our fur kids and I will keep bringing mine to Classy Canine. read more

My very nervous and anxiety filled labradoodle has been going to classy canine since he was a puppy. Sandy, the owner, is fantastic with him. She has such a knack for making dogs feel loved and comfortable. She's a true animal lover and it's also a bonus that in her past she has work at a vets office. She runs on time and squeezes me in when I'm in a pinch. My pup always comes out looking handsome and never stressed. I would highly recommend this place. read more

I've used both Kim and Michelle for my Labradoodle. Although I was happy with Kim at first, my dog came out with bleeding nails twice. I tried Michelle this week, my poor dog came out with a shaved spot on her back, and she shaved too close under her legs and her stomach. Had to clean and put medicine on my dog last night. She obviously was going too fast with the razor and cut much too close. I will not be returning. read more

I asked if she had any possible availability tomorrow and in her exact words "I don't have any other dogs tomorrow so I'm definitely not coming in for a lab" well ma'am not worry your complete lack of professionalism has assured you will never have to take care of my lab and the three of my friends that go to will be stopping. I've been taking my dog to Classy Canines for about 4 years now -- even though I've moved twice now and currently live about 20 miles away from them, I'm still bringing him there. The people there are so nice and friendly to the pets and I've never left there thinking they did a poor cut. Pricing seems about right - I spend $42 on a Lhasa Maltese mix dog grooming and then I usually tip my groomer so that's additional. I think they raised it about a year ago from $40, still not too bad. The groomer gives you a "report card" at the end of the appointment to let you know how your pup did and they usually leave with a seasonal bandanna around their neck. The only reason I took one star off is they seem to have gone through a lot of turnover in the past couple years - I'm on my third groomer now (Brittany?) and hopefully she's there for a while! In addition, timing is sometimes difficult to predict - although they've been getting better at giving an estimated time they'll be done. Used to be just a "We'll call you when he's finished" and depending on when you dropped him off, he could be there for 2 hours or he could be there all day. Again, I think they're getting better at this - my past couple visits Brittany has been telling me a rough time when she thinks he will be done. read more

I've been coming to Classic Canine with my VERY TIMID ruby Cavalier King Charles for almost a year. They do a wonderful job on Chloe, never over clipping , but a perfect CKC groom. My girl is clean and happy when I get her, super important considering how timid she is. I just got a new Cav tri color puppy who is 12 weeks and just got him started at Classic. My cat they cut every summer she looks so beautiful (like a little lion) when they're done. I recommend them to everyone. Poor customer service and way overpriced. First time I took my labradoodle to Brittany I got her back with razor burns by her legs. I brought her back one more time because I liked the cut. Was ten minutes late for my appointment and called to see if I should still come or not and was scolded about how she didn't have time for me. Made me feel horrible about being late which I already felt bad about. Told me to just come in while still scolding me for being late to my appointment. I got there and she asked quickly what I wanted and just took the dog in the back and I left. They ended up having my dog for close to 4 1/2 hours for a simple bath and nail trim. Got her back and was told she had several mats which she did not have and charged me an extra $30 for dematting. I had just brought my dog to the vet for a bath 2 weeks before that and they never said anything about mats and she's brushed daily. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I shouldn't have gone the second time in hindsight. read more

In the past I took our Bernese Mountain Dog to Pet Smart. I thought they did a decent job, UNTIL I took Cooper to Classy Canine Creations. WOW - what a fabulous grooming he received from the professionals at CCC. They trimmed him up nicely, his coat was shiny and soft, and he seemed to love being there. The prices are fair and what really surprised me was how quickly he was done. 2 hours vs 4-5 at Pet Smart. Makes me wonder if Pet Smart put the dog in a cage, and got to him when they could. I don't know, I'm just saying.... I highly recommend Classy Canine Creations! read more

I think we've been going to Sandy at this place for about 10 years? Maybe longer. We have Chow Chows. A misunderstood breed that is often lumped in with Pit Bulls in terms of their danger factor? Chows are aloof with strangers. Chows are territorial. Chows'll be a little testy, but not aggressive (unless you're a burgler letting yourself in the side door). Sandy gets Chows. They like her, too. Our current little girl Molly is a cream Chow rescue with carmel ears. (One of her ears is half-bitten off) Molly was abused by a previous owner. She is extremely timid and shy. Easily rattled. Molly hides. Little known fact: Monsters that train Pit Bulls as fighting dogs often use Chow Chow's as sparring partners and then discard them. This might have happened with Molly. We know it happened with our previous big boy Skip. The first time Molly visited Sandy at Classy Canine Creations she was so flustered...she jumped inside an empty garbage can to hide. (It was pretty funny). Sandy warmed her up with kindness on return visits. Today she loves her groomings. These people are fantastic. read more

Have been going here for many years, but unfortunately, the changes in management have resulted in a decline in the quality of service--at least for my breed of dog. Kim was fantastic, and I have kept coming here, despite the distance from my home, mostly out of the loyalty I felt for her. Absolutely HORRENDOUS customer service. I called just now to make an appointment to get my cat groomed. How a simple request or question could possibly annoy and bother someone is beyond me. I was extremely rudely told that they could TRY to groom my kitten, but didn't know how far she would be able to get. Excuse me? You're going to give me my kitten back have shaved? I quickly decided nevermind, thinking how could a "professional" not promise to get the work done they offer? All I said was nevermind, thank you. And she hung up on me! I have gone to Michelle at Classy Canine for almost three years. I have a golden doodle and could not find anyone who cut her like a goldendoodle should be cut. So thankful that we found Michelle and CCC. She does exactly what I ask and takes great care of Lucy while she is there. I also think it helps that Michelle has a doodle of her own. My dog gets a good grooming on a regular basis at Classy Canine. The groomers all take time to talk to me about the type of cut they'll be giving the dog that day and any other extras I might want to be done. They complete the grooming fairly quickly and give me a call to let me know the dog is ready to be picked up. read more

I've been bringing my Bichon for grooming at CCC since I adopted her about 2 1/2 years ago. Bichons need regular grooming, and we try to brush her fur between groomings but she resists probably because it hurts. It seems like she goes from fine to matted overnight, so we're always bringing her in matted. Before we found Classy Canine Creations, we went to various Pet Store chains, where the diagnosis was always, we're going to have to shave it all. In winter, we like to have most of her fur retained because the weather is so variable, and can be either not too bad or pretty cold. Sandy (?) does a fantastic job brushing out the mats, and then trimming just enough fur off of her, and leaving her clean, fluffy and great smelling. I appreciate her being willing to be the bad guy (brushing out the mats) so we don't have to. After a trip to CCC, my dog gets a lot of hugs because she is so clean and cute. Yesterday, my daughter even took photos of her while she was still freshly groomed. Highly recommend Classy Canine Creations. read more

I have been looking for a good groomer in my area since I moved her 2 years ago i have had such a hard time. I came across CCC on a different website and I decided that I would give them a try. I called and spoke with Karen she seemed nice and I asked if there was any way I could bring my dog in the next day she said I could. I was shocked by this because my old groomer I would have to schedule things at least a week in advance and have to wait the entire day for my dog to be done. Karen asked my to drop my dog off between 8-10. As you can see from the picture is a very cute little house and they also sell some cute doggie items. I like the house because you can sit and watch the dogs being groomed and bathed they do not take them into seperate rooms they are done right there out in the open. I have a shih tzu and before I brought him in he had a bad groom previously so he was not in good shape. Karen did a fantastic job on him and he was done around 12:30 which was nice my old groomer would take all day sometimes until 5:00 even though I had an appointment a week out. Karen did an awesome job on him and he actually looks like a shih tzu ! he smelled great and looked awesome! the prices were competitive and well worth it. They came super highly recommended by a family who had used them for years and loved them. The owner checked my dog in and was cold and rude. He looked great after but was essentially comatose for the next 24 hours - we thought he was just super stressed by the change of groomers. Dumb enough to go back - this time they SHAVED him when asked for a puppy cut - there was skin showing all over. Same deal for the next 24 hours, same cold, rude checkout by the owner. I am now convinced that he was either drugged or even verbally abused - only explanation I have for the weird aftermath of his visit. Will NEVER go near this place again - my dog is a sweet, obedient dog - every other groomer has raved about his behavior and demeanor. All in all, before I read about the Samoyed, I assumed that this was their way of eliminating LARGE grooms. Paid 80.00 both times, plus TIP - feel like an idiot for ever returning. read more

I was a little nervous going into Classy Canine Creations because of the mediocre reviews I had read but I decided to give them a try anyways. When I had called there initially to ask how much there services were for grooming ($40-$45) and make to an appointment, I had told them that I wanted to stay there, but no one ever told me there was going to be an additional charge ($20) for me staying because they had to do an express groom. Luckily I called back to change my appointment time and was told about the charge, and they made an exception to not charge me this one time. The atmosphere there was a bit unprofessional, it was like they never had customers stay in the salon before. Brittany, the groomer, asked me what things I wanted to get for my 6 month old poodle mix before she took her and assured me about things I was concerned about, however, she never told me her name. I would have never found out if she hadn't given me her business card at the very end of the appointment. Overall, as a groomer, Brittany did a good job on my puppy's hair cut, she did what I had asked her to, aside from the fact that she had shaved too closely by my puppys ears and my puppy now has shave burns on both ears and has been trying to scratch them every moment she gets. Furthermore, her customer skills were not up to par, she seemed impatient, a bit of a know it all, and a little rude at times. I'm not sure if it was because I look very young for my age and she did not take me seriously, but I don't think it is acceptable to treat a customer that way no matter the age. Brittany seemed rushed throughout the whole appointment I will not be going back there. read more
