Love this PerSmaet. Our puppy, Chloe is obsessed with Nick the trainer and we couldn't be more happy with her progress. The team members there are always so very helpful and make great recommendations. We have our own groomer but have seen the pups coming out of the grooming shop and they all look amazing. I love that they're behind clear glass so you can see you pup while they are being pampered. They have great selections and the rewards program is also fantastic. I placed an order for 2 bags of cat food BOTH to be delivered to me. But one went to the store instead and one supposedly is being delivered to me I called customer service to have it fixed gave them all the information and said please since the store has that one bag please just ship me the other bag to fix this, they told me their system is not capable of doing that. I asked if they could cancel what was wrongly sent to the store and to instead ship it to me They said their system wasn't capable of doing that. What kind of horrible system is that. Customer Service wanted to explain to me why their system couldn't deliver to me and I said quite honestly I don't want know why you can't do this. I simply want you fix this or not. He said no, his excuse was well we're an awfully big company we have a lot of orders. Never did they accept responsibility that this was their mistake nor did they try and fix it !! so much for Customer Service. This is my first and last time I will ever use Petsmart. Out of all of the chain stores for pets, I think Petsmart is my favorite. I live in West Boca, and there is literally three pet stores on the same corner. Although I've visited all of them, Petsmart is my favorite. The store itself is large and brightly lit, and they have a great variety of items for all kinds of pets including fish, reptiles, and small furry animals. They also have a grooming center and a training area where you can take training classes with your dog. If you're looking for a new feline friend, they have an adoption center so you can save a life! The pet food options range from low priced to high end, organic and fresh food lines. There's a great selection of medical person and personal care items as well. Great store and friendly stuff plus you earn points with every purchase, which turns into dollars off for future purchases. read more

This location of Petsmart was better than I anticipated. Actually I was pleasantly surprised that I found what I was looking for. At first glance, it appeared that the store had minimal inventory; however, I quickly realized that they had a large selection of so many items. Like I said, I found what I was looking for. I don't go out much due to covid and having underlying health issues but I am taking baby steps, and the pet store is one of them. I didn't see any hand sanitizer at the front of the store, but each employee was wearing a mask. As for the customers wearing masks, I only saw two other customers during the twenty minutes I was there; they were both wearing a mask. This store has helpful employees. Each time I asked if they carried an item/brand, not only did they answer me- but they escorted me right to the item itself. Excellent customer service! The checkout process was easy, no lines, at this point I could have been the only customer in the store. I was a little surprised the cashier didn't ask for my information so I could acrew points for their loyalty program. I did volunteer my info so I would get credit for this sale. Easy to get items you need quick. They have curbside pick up but also just able to get what you need the same day. They used to price match but I have not gone in a while. They tend to be more pricey than online retailers but if you need something now than it's perfect to not wait. read more

Aside from that, the staff is always knowledgeable in addressing my pet problems and my cats love the Petsmart branded Authority cat food. Terrible experience. Just moved to Florida and was highly recommended by several people to go to pet smart. BAD! I realized that my dog missed the rabies shot, and it was required, so I ran the day before to get a shot for my pup. I showed up at my appointment with new rabies tag-waited 25 min to be served for the groomer to advise I must wait 48 hours after vaccine. If this is the case/requirement - the customer should be advised. They asked if I wanted to rebook and I said I will never be back. Totally unprofessional, and I cancelled a prior appointment with another salon just to get an appointment with a particular groomer. Do not bring your dog to their grooming salon. They mistreat your dog, blame their actions on them, and try to refuse finishing the service. Mg dog is CGC certified and a trained service dog. They accused him of becoming aggressive during the drying process after the bath. This is the same corporation that burned a dog to death in their facilities( not this particular location, but Petsmart itself) . They were going to return my dog back to me soaking wet with none of the grooming done..... and they have had him for 4 hours now. They put him in a kennel turned the "15" minute dryer timer on and let him sit there and occasionally check on him. WTF!!! Maybe they need to retrain their staff! I am beyond furious. My dog has never growled at another person so if he did actually do what they claimed, they did something to hurt him and caused it. If you love your dog take them somewhere else. This company has gone to crap since it was purchased by a UK group. Oh BTW, my last dog was the "5 millionth" adoption. He was treated great, far cry from how my dog is being treated now. Been going to this store for awhile now and it's been going downhill. The staff is full of kids on phones that don't care about customer service. I needed a price on a priduct on a pallet and went to the front to ask. I disturbed Michael on his phone abs he risky brought me to an aisle and pointed to a price on products where I want even looking and rudely said "THERE'S YOUR PRICING". These people don't give a darn about cuisine services and clearly dislike those they serve. I left a half full cart that was going to be full and went to Petco. These people have lost my business, I went into petco and everyone was friendly to both us and our dogs. Pet Smart treats people worse than rodents. PetSmart is an excellent pet shop with very good customer service. I can find dog food, dog treats, toys, over the counter medication, and grooming tools such as brushes at excellent prices. PetSmart has great prices on everything and the staff is happy to answer any question you might have about your pet. You can bring your pet with you to see the items you are interested in buying to get their opinion. They have grooming, training, and a full service veterinarian (Banfield). Woohoo my first review! As a first time pup mom, long time dog lover, I can say this place has been great. It has everything one could ask for. The on-site Vet, Banfield, treats my little guy like a VIP every visit. You can tell they really care about their furry patients. I would recommend the pet insurance they offer, to make sure your best friend is covered for both the routine and the unexpected. If your fur ball is as big a handful as ours, then their training classes are the way to go. Your pup will go from a dunce sitting in the corner to head of the class in no time. There are beginner, intermediate, and adult levels. If you see a guy named Chris listed as the instructor, try to get one of his classes. He was awesome. Our dog responded to him right away. He definitely knows his stuff. I come here for all my pups needs, and recommend you do too! read more

The "lead" salon person Michaya was rude, notched my dog off to some unknown area and then said he can't be groomed and needs medical attention for a condition he has and HAS HAD his whole life that causes him to spit up and occasionally wheeze. She refused to listen to the explanation and offer of vet records since I take him regularly. They need to learn their job is to clip dog's nails, not try to pretend they have any medical training whatsoever. They have lost my business permanently as well as anyone I speak to. read more

If I could give the grooming department zero stars, I would! I made an appointment to bring my 1 year old Border Collie to get a bath and her nails trimmed. They didn't even have my reservation on file, they never saved it. To make matters worse, within 1/2 hour I received a phone call saying that the whites of my dog's eyes were red because of stress, and she was trying to "bite" the staff while they attempted to bathe her. And for their safety, they could no longer service my dog. To be clear, she is a PUPPY who has never bitten anyone, no loved ones, no strangers, no animals. Also, aren't they supposed to be TRAINED PROFESSIONALS that can handle these situations? They were backlogged with pet appointments, so it's no surprise that the staff took the lazy way out and said they could no longer service her because of "safety issues". My husband ended up picking our dog up and HE clipped her nails. Do not waste your time at this place, we are never returning here again for any grooming service. read more

This is our local go to for our cats needs. This morning, the employees went waaaay beyond their required duties! We got there before they officially opened...but we were not turned away. We were able to grab what we needed and never once felt like a burden. Chelsea was our cashier and she couldn't have been sweeter. What no one knew was that we had been through a very traumatic vet visit ( a VCA facility) the day before and we were running out to grab some food to see if we could get our cat to eat (before we saw our personal vet). I order some pet products on the internet, but when I'm shopping local my favorite place to go is PetSmart. My dog Onyx is very strong and I have to buy toys that will last awhile. Nylabone and Kong are his favorites. Sometimes I get big rawhide bones, but they don't last very long. I can usually find some of these toys on sale at PetSmart, so I stock up when I see them. Besides finding items on sale I like PetSmart because the people who work there go out of their way to be friendly. The last time I was there the cashier helped me figure out how to combine sale items with an online reward coupon. They also price match, which can help you save money. This store has plenty of free parking. You're welcome to bring your pet along when you shop there. read more

In the past, under the past manager my dogs services, including grooming, have been great. As of Jan 2020, my toy poodle received the WORST GROOMING in his 7 years. My poor dog looks horrendous. The groomer must have zero experience in grooming poodles. The cut is uneven, the poodle traits were completely cut off. I am disgusted and outraged. I WILL NEVER HAVE MY DOGS GROOMED AT PETSMART AGAIN, nor will I shop at their stores. My dog is part of my family and she (N) totally butchered him. I was given a PARTIAL refund and when I went into the store and expressed my displeasure, I was then told by a rude groomer that she wasn't trying to "get attitude" from me. I came here looking for Turtle supplies. I needed help/ information on what to buy, what their needs are, feeding, etc. The 2 people that assisted me treated weren't friendly at all. The first one I asked looked around to see if there was someone else around to help, when I asked if he was helping busy with another customer he said "no, just come with me". He gave me a quick/ brief explanation and started to walk. When I said I needed more help he made a face and asked me what I was doing so far. Unfortunately, when I was given the turtles, very little information was given to me about their care. He didn't have the patience to explain so another girl came. They both told me I wasn't taking good care of my turtles and that they were very surprised they weren't dead by now. I started getting a little annoyed with them... The girl proceeded to show me a whole lot of things I need to buy. Asked her to please show me the essentials, since I couldn't afford everything that very moment. She gave me a disapproving look. At this point my patience is running out. Not that it was any of her business, but explained to her that it wasn't that I didn't care, but that I had just lost my dog, so had gone through that expense plus all her treatment while she was sick. If you want your pet to be groomed correctly and get the haircut you requested, DO NOT bring them to PetSmart! This is the 2nd time they've messed up my dogs cut. We gave them a second chance cuz the employees are really nice people. They just don't really know what they're doing (we even showed them a picture of how his cut usually is) my dogs fur on his face and legs are cut uneven and he has a huge patch on his tummy that's shaved off. I was super thankful that they were able to take him for a same day appointment, but really annoyed that they did such a bad job with his groom. My bf tried to justify his tummy shave for them cuz my dog had really long fur and tends to get some peepee on it but the shave was incessant cuz they could have easily cut off the tips of the fur that's tangled....I'm just really really annoyed cuz now we have to take him to another groom and try to get it fixed... read more
