This is the line I am in, for the second time, after I was sent to a second register that did not work.
    Xochitl G.

I'm writing this review because I was just sent to the end of the line I already waited in. I made it to the front and a second teller called me and the person behind me to lane 2. Great. We went over and that register didn't work. She moved us to lane 3. Still didn't work. The woman behind me has 2 items and offered to just buy her items online so she could leave. I asked what I should do. 3 employees looked at me completely bewildered. I went to the back of the line. If the employees aren't going to back me up, I'm not in the mood for the fight. Oh, wait, now that I loaded all my items on lane 1, the employee is ready for me on lane 2. No thanks. Customer service here is HORRIBLE. The lesson: Don't wait to run out of everything. Took our 8 month golden retriever puppy here for the first time and he looks great! The front desk staff was really kind and gave him a great haircut. Will be making this our regular place!

*THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL STORE* **management and grooming salon only** Carolyn likes to put down her employees every chance she gets even if your not doing anything but the call logs she will always find a reason to put you down. Terri likes to call her employees stupid as well as intimidate everyone one of them. Deborah(salon leader) hates working, she gives her request clients to other people then takes credit. She likes to leave clients in kennels for hours before even starting them (then rushes through them making them stressed and leaving them with an utterly shitty haircut.) she loves family calls while on the clock, she prefers those over helping actual clients on the phone. NOW, with that being said, store 0084 is utterly horrible no matter what you do.. the salon has gone down the toilet and it's all due to management . If you want to stay sane I do not recommend this location. The store itself, is great. It's clean and most of the people on the floor are super friendly. Their 2 newest managers(Ramona and Veronica are amazing and I really hope they don't allow Terri and Carolyn to drag them down because these ladies are great!) If you want a good place to work this is not the place, it's up to you if you believe me or not I am just trying to warn the people who are passionate about life and passionate about dog grooming. I used to be that happy then I went to this store and it progressively broke me down in the 2 years I was there and I lost all passion for it. Please do not make the same mistake as I did, no one warned me. I am warning you guys.

We took our husky to get groomed. I like how they are open on weekends and how easy it is to get an appointment especially early in the morning. Hailey did an amazing job with our girl, she looks like a whole new dog! Hailey was so nice and my dog really liked her, I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog in her hands. Also, I appreciate the knowledge she had about husky's fur, she explained to us how to she was going to trim her hair & the reasons why. Last time I took her to a different groomer, she came back looking really "choppy" and uneven. But this time she looks sleek and perfect, not to mention she smells amazing. She even gave her a bandana! Thanks for taking such great care of my girl, we will definitely be back!

I was specific of all the areas of concerns with Jay during the evaluation. He recommended four sessions for Jazz. At first I thought no way will this Boxer be corrected with four sessions. To my surprise I quickly learned otherwise. First session Jay addressed the running out the front door when opened. Jazz immediately obeyed Jay and myself. So impressive! Second session we needed Jazz to sit on his bed during breakfast & dinner. While his owner in a wheelchair enjoys his meals. Jay accomplished that in half the session. Third session was walking. Being able to keep Jazz on my side and from growling at other people or dogs. In one session Jay empowered me to lead Jazz. A big task for some of us women who struggle with being pack leaders. Jazz and I have been enjoying some lovely walks. Thank you Jay!!! Fourth session was calling Jazz in from backyard. Jazz did well with Jay. That is something I am sure I will master shortly! If not, I now have a dog expert to reach out to for help. Jazz was so excited to see Jay on a weekly basis. Jay was so loving and it made me realized I was not loving with Jazz. He is not my dog but my clients. However, I have started to love on him. This way he feels he belongs to someone and that he is loved. This poor dog came from the shelter during COVID. I have no idea what life he had before. However, now Jazz is living his best life ever thanks to Tails of Success. I have always felt professional dog trainer have. value. This recent situation has re-enforced their value based on their experience, quick results, and in home training. I highly recommend this experts. Side note: make sure you do your homework daily to reinforce all Jay's teaches your pet. This way you too will be a happy client with a happy pet.

We kept up with training honestly not every day. This weekend I was hiking alone with Racker in the hills above LA. I tripped and fell down a mountain breaking 3 bones. I was unable to climb up the rocks to make it out and had to be rescued by fire fighters and paramedics. They had to hike in and carry me out. All I could think of is how horrible it was going to be because Racker would become reactive and act aggressive in the situation. Instead because of his training he stayed in down the whole time. He barked once when they stabilized my leg and I screamed. After they picked me up he calmly let someone lead him out with me. If you are on the fence about training do it! The first is an alpha pure-bred standard poodle, who has always had a charmed life and her own way. The pup ran us around until Sherry taught me how to be a calm, confident, and firm poodle-mom. Together, we've done amazing work with obedience lessons and going through the steps to become licensed as a Certified Therapy Dog. Sherry has been indispensable for coaching us from bratty puppy to a dignified therapy dog who can be trusted in any hospital or office. Her cafe manners are on point, too! The second dog is a pit/lab mix who we found abandoned at a park. She is strong, but terrified of everything. Sherry has helped my older dad be able to manage this dog, and walk her in the neighborhood without him being knocked over by her strength and fear. Sherry saw the potential in this rescue and has helped us cultivate her good qualities and overcome her bad ones. I highly recommend Sherry for obedience lessons. She works magic in both private and group sessions. The key is just to stick to it and complete the sessions. You'll be impressed how fast your dog becomes likable and well-behaved in public places with Sherry's coaching. She also specializes in helping the elderly manage their dogs so that they aren't unintentionally dangerous to them (getting underfoot, jumping up, pulling them over with a leash, racing for the door, etc.). I'm so glad she's been here to help my family and my pups.

When Brent found Tala, she was in a heartbreaking situation--essentially feral and abandoned by the side of a highway, just days away from being euthanized. Thanks to Brent's dedication and expertise, she not only got a second chance at life, but she became the most well-behaved and gentle dog we've ever met. Tala is a Husky-Samoyed mix, and from the moment we brought her home, it was clear she had been given an amazing foundation. She walks like a dream--both on and off leash--has zero reactivity, and greets every person and animal she encounters with calm friendliness. She's completely potty and crate trained, follows commands effortlessly, and doesn't jump or vocalize unnecessarily. She's also wonderfully affectionate and incredibly food motivated, which makes bonding with her a joy. What amazes us most is how Brent managed to shape her behavior so thoughtfully without dulling her spirit. Tala still has all the bright, clever, loving traits that make her such a unique and special companion. She's seamlessly become part of our family, and we truly can't imagine life without her. Brent is nothing short of a miracle worker, and we wholeheartedly recommend Ace Dog Training to anyone looking to adopt or train a dog with kindness, skill, and heart. And it's impossible to reach them by phone (besides leaving a message and getting a call back in a few days... which isn't reasuring when I'm calling to check how much longer the grooming will take). But they usually did what I requested, and I was happy with the result. But the last time I brought in my dog, my dog was very badly injured when I picked her up. They hurt her leg somehow - I'm going to guess they forcefully held her paw for nail cutting, instead of acknowledging her protests. (She's a vocal breed, so unfortunately some groomers are inclined to ignore her vocal cues.) My dog couldn't stop whimpering in pain for 2 months. Even in her sleep, she would wake up whimpering from the pain (for about a month). I took her to the vet right away, thinking maybe her leg was broken. The vet said nothing was broken or dislocated, thankfully. But her whimpering in pain broke my heart. What also bothers me is that when I dropped her off, I told the person she has sensitivity in her front paws so to please be gentle. Obviously that was ignored. One factor (I have to assume) is that the person I dropped my dog off with is not the same person who was there when I picked up my dog. So I wonder if what I said even got communicated to whoever was grooming her or cutting her nails. I called Wizard of Paws, and they denied knowing what I was talking about (that my dog had been injured, was whimpering in pain, etc) - said they had no idea how it may have happened, and that it surely wasn't because of them.
