I was in the area, so I decided to stop here at the beginning of September to see if this PetSmart location had deworming medicine that other PetSmarts near me didn't have in inventory. Unfortunately, this location also didn't have the med for the size of the dog I needed it for. I decided to just walk around the store and browse. I saw a lot of live animals, like birds, hamsters and snakes, that I wasn't interested in having as pets. One dog is enough for me at home. They have grooming at this location, and even have a large walled area where owners can bring their dogs for training classes. While I was walking around, I was pleasantly surprised that two employees in separate areas of the store asked if they could help me find anything. This store was clean and uncluttered at the time I was there, and the shelves looked well stocked, especially dog food which had a large selection of brands available. Parking was easy to find in the large free parking lot shared by a lot of businesses that are in the same outdoor shopping mall. read more

The new grooming Lead is rude. I have been bringing my dogs here for almost 12 years and watch the staff turnover more frequently after Covid. However this is the worst it has ever been. I had the lead turn my female away 2 months ago for her allergies and her eyes being cloudy. I let them do my male then but was a little annoyed. Today she turned my female away again because she has bladder stones and her urine was pink. Now I am furious since I called ahead and asked if this would happen again since my female was turned away before. I was assured my dogs would be groomed. Wow ! They're under new management and although they're progressively adding more to the business, the service was swift and knowledgeable! I brought my dog Cody there and upon arrival the staff was so welcoming with bright smiles! The doctor Corina looked young but she was very helpful in answering my questions and providing me support for my baby. He had been having some bowl issues and she was super resourceful. I've been to places where you never really interact with the doctor but she seemed very hands on and cared about the success of her experience with my pup and I ! I went to PetSmart today and decided to try out their grooming services for my puppy. The girls were polite and informative, but I paid for the Pawdicure which was supposed to come with ear cleaning, tooth brushing, nail trimming/grinding and a bandana. When I got Wyclef back he did not have a bandana and upon further investigation, his ears are still dirty. What's up PetSmart? I came here with my mother to purchase two goldfish (14 cent goldfish). You know... the kind that stay in a GOLDFISH bowl. The employee in that area refused to sell us the goldfish because they needed to be in a 10 gallon tank/per goldfish. We spoke to the manager who also reiterated this. We kindly pointed out that they had several HUNDRED fish in small tanks and they sold Goldfish bowls in their store (labeled for Goldfish)!!! After a few minutes, the manager reluctantly agreed to sell us two goldfish, we paid (our 50 cents) and got out. I understand a policy that you would prefer for customers to be educated on proper housing for fish, but anyone could come in and say they had a huge tank when in reality they keep the fish in a cereal bowl. read more

They always have what I need for my pets. I love that I can order and pay on line then just run in to pick up my order. I also love that they now stock the Hill's (and Royal Canin) prescription diets. I usually get the food ordered but some delivery drivers don't protect the packages and it gets soaked. I made an appointment for 7:00am on Saturday way back on Tuesday to get my dog groomed. When I showed they didn't have my appointment and said they would take her but had no idea when she would be ready, REALLY? Would you leave your dog in those circumstances? When I spoke to the manager she was a delight of unhelpfulness. I had been coming here for years, NEVER AGAIN. PetSmart has dramatically dropped off in customer service. We stopped by PetSmart to pick out fish for our son's new aquarium. Honestly, we have never owned an aquarium...only a Beta in a fishbowl up to this point in life. We had zero clue of what kind of fish, how many to get and what accessories we needed. PetSmart had a nice selection of fish, aquariums and accessories for sale. I was a bit shocked at the price of fish now days, but then again I am old and there is something called inflation. Ashley approached us and was eager to help us. She was warm, friendly and patient with our very chatty 6-year-old. Ashley gave great advice of what type of fish to get and how many fish our tank could support. While I felt the prices seemed a little high, PetSmart did offer a 14 day warranty on the fish--simply return the receipt with the poor little dead body and they will replace the fish. Our new friends have been with us for 9 days now and our son is very happy! read more

Wasn't greeted by any employee that was standing around the front door, they were just all talking among themselves. Walked straight to the grooming place, they were busy, but an employee who was trimming a dog stopped and greeted us, put our dog on the books and took her in. It was nice not having to wait forever. They even called us to let us know out dog was ready to be picked up. She was well trimmed and smells nice from the bath, her nails were also cut to a good length. Even dress her up with a bandana. They have recently done some remodeling and the store looks great. The store is always clean and has helpful people roaming around to answer any questions or help ya find something, We are usually there for fish or dog supplies. We have a bassett with corn allergies so we have to buy Nutro for her, which def comes with a hefty price tag. I wish petsmart offered the same deal as petco, where when you buy 10 bags you get the 11th free. usually equals out to a bag free a year for us, which around the holidays rocks to not have to drop 55$ on dog food... Ive always had really good luck with my fish from petsmart. the tanks are clean and the fish in MY 25 gallon has been alive and swimmin for almost a year now :) i have had to go in with a coupld water iussues and they have pointed me in the correct direction each time. nd petsmart usually has pretty good sales on stuff :) read more

We just got done with the Beginner Dog training class here last weekend with out black lab mix, Zoey. My little furkid graduated and was voted Class Angel. :) Tracy, the store's resident dog trainer, is awesome! She's very knowledgeable and has years of experience under her belt. She was always confident, consistent and well-prepared for all of our classes. We had a small class, only 4 dogs including mine and each dog got the right amount of attention and instruction. My dog was the oldest, at 2 years, the youngest, 6 months. Despite the age differences and individual personalities of each dog, Tracy was able to connect with them and find the most effective training methods. For example, my furkid has doggy ADD and easily gets distracted. Tracy switched between "stinky" treats - treats that have a strong smell and caught my dog's attention and a tennis ball - because my dog basically lives for tennis balls. In the beginner class, we learn the basics - sit, down, stay, wait, leave it and drop it. It sounds simple enough right? Well we learned it takes a lot of consistency and you have to implement the instruction at home in between classes. Tracy was always able to command the attention of all the dogs and was patient when the class was learning at different speeds. The one thing I didn't like was signing up for the Saturday class. They do adoptions that day so there is a lot more foot traffic in the store. The adoption dogs are usually barking or howling and my poor pup got easily distracted. Not only that, but the training area is in the middle of the store, so people walked by all the time and sometimes stopped to look, point and talk to the dogs. My dog is easily distracted as it is, and she didn't really benefit from the adoption dogs and other people. I wish the training area was in the back of the store, away from the adoption area. But the class does set you and your furkid up for success - they give you a syllabus, training tips for when you practice at home, a clicker, some treats and a packet of info on what dogs can/can't eat and what to do when they get into something bad - like dark chocolate. Class time was an hour a week for 6 weeks and was $109. Not too bad, considering private lessons with a dog trainer not associated with Petsmart averaged around $90/hour. Overall, we're very pleased with the class and look forward to signing up for the Intermediate! read more

I visited this Petsmart yesterday. I had a training collar that was missing a crucial link to it. It somehow went missing while we were away for the weekend. I digress. I walked into the store and was immediately greeted by one of the cashiers who was ringing up a current customer. I walked to the next cashier and asked her if I could buy another link for my training collar. She wasn't sure, but called the store manager over to answer my question. The store manager (I can't remember his name) and walked me back to the collar aisle. We looked at the available links and unfortunately the link that I was missing was not one that could be purchased separately. He brought me back up to the cashier and asked her to exchange my broken collar with a replacement collar. This was an amazing act of kindness. The collar was not a huge expense at all, but the fact that he cared to take care of me, a customer was huge. I was impressed and just thought I should share my experience. read more

Also, their grooming services are hit or miss. We took both dogs, Ollie and Eszie, here for a wash and trim. One came back looking terrific, the other looked like Bad Hat Harry. This review has more to do with the online order process than the pickup location. After years as a PetSmart customer, I finally had the need to place my first online order. I regret to have to disclose that it will also be my last. The order process went fairly smoothly, although the in-store pickup option wasn't as intuitive as it could have been. The real nightmare was the in-store pickup portion. I thought I could save some time by ordering the items online. Bad idea. It ended up costing me more time, convenience and effort. Prior to my wife placing the online order, I went to the store in order to make sure the items were the correct size, style and met with my wife's approval. I inspected the items and sent my wife a text with pictures so she could see how the store items matched up with the accessories we already owned. Once she approved the items, the order was placed. I also noticed that the price of the online items were slightly less expensive than the items on the shelf. I was sent an email containing all of the order information. When I walked to the checkout, I thought I'd take the two items with me to save the store personnel from having to grab them off of the shelf. I showed the checkout employee my order and order number. Several minutes passed while she attempted to look throughout the store for a computer tablet to enter the order information into. As it turned out, the tablet was on a shelf at her checkout register the entire time. Once the order number was entered into the tablet, there was no record of the order. An assistant manager arrived to inform me it could take up to two hours before I could pick up my items. I told the assistant manager the two items were already at the register. She said she could not permit me to have them because the order information had not yet been given to the store. After a bit of discussion, I ended up purchasing the items using another form of payment. Now I had to cancel the online order. The checkout employee told me that I could cancel the online order by clicking on the "Order Status" button within the order confirmation email I was sent by PetSmart. After a thorough search, I came to the conclusion that if there is way to cancel the order via PetSmart's website, I certainly could find one. I had to call PetSmart's customer service number and a representative ended up cancelling the order. read more

This pet store is absolutely horrible. The animals are deathly sick, and after reporting to an employee of a sick animal I saw she told me the animal had gone to the vet that morning. Obviously it had not if it has what I suspect an upper respiratory infection. I informed her I work in a veterinary clinic and currently studying Veterinary Medicine, and she still spoke to me rudely telling me "well it's not gonna die but thanks we got it" and that guinea pigs are hardy animals, which they are not- they die very quickly and easily of sickness, especially respiratory-related. It's eyes were CRUSTED SHUT! The fish tanks always look dirty and have multiple dead fish . I asked to visit an animal I could have potentially bought but was refused because of "COVID," which I feel was just due to employee laziness because I had come to another Petsmart week before and had been nicely greeted and introduced to the animals- and was able to pet them. Save your good mood for a store that greets you nicely and ACTUALLY helps you AND the animals out. read more

Sept 1st, Took our dog to get groomed like we have for the past year. 4 hours later we get our dog back, we get the bill, I pay it, come back and the lady is telling my wife not to bring our dog back. She said he is loud. Well I look down at my dog and her eyes are blood shot and he stinks like soap and here nails were not finished. They got soap in her eyes and he was in pain, wonder why she was loud. So instead of taking responsibility for the issue, they blamed my dog. I called the corp office and told them about my issue and they said they would get back to me in 3 - 5 days. I guess they are not concerned about pet safety at Petsmart in my onion. They still have not called me back. I will never use this service or buy anything from them again. Do not recommend there service. If i could have given them zero stars I would have. read more

After many months of using their grooming services, we will NEVER take a pet there again. Our dog was injured, not rinsed, and left crying in a cage. Her nails were not completed, her ears are still dirty, and her teeth lack cleaning. To add more, we were told not to bring her on a Saturday, as her crying was a danger to the other pets. Even after talking to the manager, no one recognizes that their lack of compassion for our dog caused her to have reddened eyes (still red 4 hours later) and caused her to be traumatized. read more

They sprayed some type of cheap perfume on her that I can not get rid of, and I don't think they did all the things I paid for with the chi package! Just got my Lille Yorkie groomed there. This is the forth time and it the last time too. They don't have patient to your dog at all. They always use the same excuse which is your dog moving too much. This is a nice pet supply store with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable employees. They competently serve a portion of my two dog's needs. Okay, let's talk about grooming. I've never had a dog groomed or receive vet care at a 'big box' store. Nor do I ever plan on doing so. I also don't buy steaks or jewelry for the human family at a big box store where you can get outdoor furniture and tires. I trust 'big box' stores to do certain things well. And, this PetSmart does very economically and competently everything that I expect from them. But, I don't expect dog grooming or vet services. Even if they advertise them. read more
