These people at halo are wicked. They will steal your dog and adopt it out. A man's dog got loose…read moreand eventually someone brought the dog to halo. He had been in contact with them trying to get his dog who was an older dog 15 or so, they tried to say the dog was not being taken care of properly because of his skin condition but the owner had brought the dog to vet before for this issue and the dogs getting older. They ended up refusing the owner the dog and adopted the dog out to some stranger. They knowingly took this man's dog and gave him to someone else. Evil despicable people. This man is amazing with his dogs and halo even called the animal control on his other dog even though they never met the dog. The owner only told them that they were taking the dog from his brother. The dog loved his brothe and his dad so much. Its a very sad situation. This is just a quick overview but these people are the worst. They also stole another woman's cat. Animal thieves. The cops just say its a civil matter. They need to be held accountable for there actions. There are many people who know this man and know how good he is with his dogs.

She is smart enough to make her own decisions, and that includes ignoring me! Mila and I had previously went to a positive only trainer. That trainer could not get Mila to walk nicely on a leash or perform commands outside my apartment. I was SUPER hesitant on starting "balanced" training. Even before I committed to doing training sessions with Susie, she spent the time explaining her methods and how she teaches dogs. From the get go, before we even started training, Susie took the time to explain to me in detail what she was doing, why she was doing it, and how to respond to Mila's behavior. After 3 sessions with Susie, the dog that used to ignore me on walks and pay zero mind to me is now listening to my commands on walks and checking in on me when I don't ask for it. The three sessions with Susie have been night and day with Mila's behavior. Susie has been so patient with mine and Mila's learning journey. I was able to learn more about dog training and strengthen my relationship with Mila through this experience. You can tell Susie is TREMENDOUSLY passionate about dog training and behavior, and I would 3000% recommend Susie to anyone.

As well as our Pekinese/brussel griffon who prefers using the bathroom in the house. She worked so well with our young children and gave them tools to successfully help in their behavior changes. She taught us the importance of fulfilling their needs which meant uninterrupted play time with our overly playful English bulldog. She taught us so much and never rushed. She spent hours helping us and I love that she involved the children. Marc with Bark Busters and his program was amazing with our dog Niko!! Niko has always been a sweet…read moredog but has had numerous behavior problems with recognizing us as the leaders of the house. Especially when it came to disciplining him when he was bad and he would just growl at us and snap his teeth in defiance. After a few hours with Marc, Niko instantly improved on being walked with a leash and not walking ahead, also being called to sit next to me and not move. These exercises and more condition the dog to recognize our alpha position over him. What's more, last night he jumped on the couch after he had a bath and laid on there (full knowing that was bad) and I got on his case and disciplined him like I usually do. But this time....NO growing back or snapping his teeth! We didn't even train that part with him but he KNEW where his place was and he just sat there and listened. My wife and I couldn't believe it! Marc and his program has worked beyond our expectations and know he will be able to further train him in other areas using this system. And we know we can rely on Marc coming over to help us again if we ever need the help. Very much worth the money! Thank you again!!

We have used Cissy to help us with two dogs. A mini Aussie many years ago when the kids were little…read moreand we wanted someone to help train the pup and give us all consistency with him. But at the beginning of this summer we got a Dutch shepherd who had spent too many weeks with his guard dog mother and not been socialized. We needed help in a big way and Cissy was called again. She really helped us not only with training but by working with her own dogs to help him reorient his behavior. She helped us to find options for behavioral therapy if it was needed. Fortunately, due to her help it wasn't needed. He is now 7 months old and he is a great puppy that our family enjoys. I tutor algebra and he will now under the table and lick my student's feet. It's the most fun they have with algebra and I'm glad to have a sweet, friendly puppy. Highly recommend Cissy. We met with the owner, Cindy Wold assured us that Panzer would be welcomed and that she would work with him. She was very knowledgeable in dog behavior and within 1 week she had him join the other dogs and worked wonders with his leash training. We had been using a harness on him to control him on walks but now we have him on a regular leash. The facility, A Dog's Life is clean, spacious and well ventilated.
