I explained that he is used to having a human around when he's with other dogs and not used to being left alone with dogs so that's likely why he's anxious and wants to be around a human. He is also active and needs stimulation and exercise - they take the dogs for a short 15 minute walk and play at a nearby dog park but then return and leave the dogs in a room which I believe is often unattended, After purchasing a package, she told me that I need to bring him daily to get him accustomed which I understand, but I explained to her that is not in my budget or need. She insinuated that she didn't want to take him again. She didn't offer me a refund or compensation for my package and I found the way she spoke to me was unprofessional and uncourteous. In my opinion, this wasn't much of a daycare, just a place to leave your dog for the day with minimal engagement. I used to take my dog to BFF and they were much more engaging and pleasant.

I left the park because I am not comfortable being there with two unknown dogs (the JRT was pretty snarky) and I went next door to the adjoined park. She came back a few minutes later (she parked down the street) and I told her that I was appalled that she would leave two clients' dogs unattended in a park. She started yelling at me about how she will never come back to this park because it's too far from the road and not set up well. I told her that she should never leave dogs unattended in a park and she yelled again, telling me "what am I supposed to do? I can't walk all these dogs to the car together - they could get loose and hit by a car!" I'm stunned. She would rather leave your dogs unattended in a park with perfect strangers, not even knowing if the other dogs are safe/friendly. She can't handle 9 dogs because NO ONE CAN. It's not ethical. If I were a paying client, this person would be out of a job yesterday. If clients are reading this review, please cancel your service with her - she is not a safe person with whom to leave your pets. You have no idea what goes on with your dog when she has them in her "care".

Stella was a sweet, awkward, goofy, and nervous dog that gets car sick. And now Stella is a sweet, awkward, goofy dog that likes going for car rides, and thinks that all dogs have the possibility of being her friend. My dog was left without the care and I incurred cost totaling $125 replace the FOB she lost along with my key as well as the cost of getting my lock changed. Long version: I needed someone to check in on my new puppy and after finding Doggy Gogo online and reading some reviews, I called Renee to request a meet and greet. I had some reservations based on that initial conversation, but she had great reviews and I checked her out online. She's bonded and she has been doing this for a while and I was in a bind. When Renee met with me and my pup it was clear that she really cares for animals and I felt comfortable that she would take care of my little guy. I gave Renee a key to my home along with a FOB to my building. A couple hours later I received a text from Renee telling me that she lost my key and FOB. I had to take the day off work the next day to get my locks changed and replace the fob she lost. Instead of paying Renee $50 for 2 days of dog walking, I ended up having to take time off work and spend a total of $125 to change my locks and replace the FOB. Renee was very apologetic, and she spent time tracing her steps to search for my key with no luck. When I suggested to her that I thought she should offer to absorb some of the costs I incurred due to her mistake, she got quite defensive and insisted I was being needlessly cautious in changing my locks and refused to contribute to the cost. I was completely stunned by this response. In my experience, business owners genuinely try to correct errors. Not the case at all here. In fact, she told me that if I was a regular customer she would consider it, but I wasn't so it wasn't worth her time. I suppose she has all the business she needs and the prospect of a new loyal customer is meaningless to her. At my insistence she agreed to pay for the FOB and told me she mailed a cheque to me. This happened about a month ago. Since then she actually found my key and texted me to alert me that I could go get it myself on a lost and found board at a park she frequents. The park is out of my way and I asked her to drop the FOB/key off to me or mail it to me. She said she had no intention of doing so since she had already send me a cheque for the cost of the FOB. To date, I have not received a cheque or my key back. I waited a month to write this review because I think most people are good and they want to do the right thing. I also understand that mistakes happen. Before writing this review I texted Renee one more time to see if she had bothered to send either... One last chance to make it right. She had no interest in doing so "I don't know why you didn't receive the cheque and I don't understand why you don't just go get the key yourself". Renee made it crystal clear that she has absolutely no interest in righting her mistake. I'm sure She is wonderful with animals and I'm sure many of her customers appreciate her service. But I think that how a company or individual behaves when something goes wrong is much more telling then how they behave when things are going to plan. Mistakes happen. How we respond to them speaks volumes and Renee has made it very clear that customer service and integrity simply are not priorities for her.

I cannot recommend them enough. Very professional and our Brooklyn waits by the window for Joe to pick her up and is so happy everytime he arrives. They take her our for ~2 hours and we can see how good of a time she has and how tired out she is when she gets back, which is perfect to hold her till we are done our workday. Besides this, Kate and her team have been so accommodating - even went outside of their usual pickup to get her daily when we had her staying with our friend, which really helped maintain some routine for her while we were away. We have also used their dog sitting services on another occasion for a week and also highly recommend. Alana took such good care of Brooklyn and sent us many updates and pictures/videos to help put our mind at ease as we missed her so much. We are so glad to have found Kate and her team as they have definitely made our lives a little easier and we know Brooklyn loves them too.
