Inise is a fantastic dog trainer who taught us so much about dog behaviours and how to make us a better pet owner. When you first walk into the place and see all the dogs that are there regularly, you maybe overwhelmed and underwhelmed at the same time. It's very low key and fun for the four legged friends but, there are also discipline and rules for all. It is such a great environment for us as dog owners and our pets to learn and socialize. If you're unsure, Inise and her team will guide you to the best of their ability. It is very important to socialize your dogs. Be a responsible pet owner and take them there for puppy classes, obedience classes, and social Sunday!

OUTSIDE three: they muzzled my 13 lb 1 1/2 years old pup WHICH THAT WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED IN OTHER PLACES four: they got frustrated and grab my pup and took him to the back to handle business five: I heard my pup squealing and end up with a bloody quick. It's terrible! If you love your dog, do go!! I legit saw a dog running away from 5 other dogs trying to bite him but the groomers/ trainers did nothing.

Overall impression -…read morenot very professionally run place, extremely dirty, my dog was reeking of some bad odour in only 3 hours and full of dirt but the lady who received us spoke as if this was the only dog day care in town and everyone is lining up to have their dogs sent there! They don't provide tours of facilities so you have no idea where/what you are sending your pets into! No photos or videos put up anywhere about the facilities/amenities inside. No time taken for any sort of assessment to understand the temperament of our dog. The lady asked us if our dog will jump the fence, (I wish I knew, the dog cnt speak to tell me!) I said she has never tried and she said, I quote, "if she as much even looks at the fence, she will not be allowed in the yard again", so they plan to cage her all day if she does try to look at her surroundings! They just want full trained dogs to be left free in groups of 10 to play so easy job for them! All dogs are not same and most of them take time to adjust. They were too quick to judge in meeting my dog for the first time saying that she was nervous (obviously it was her first time there with new ppl and so many dogs!). Thankful this all happened on the trial class, never going back again!

Not a great place. For one, it is not at all clean. From the moment you walk in, there is either…read morean overwhelming smell of urine, or bleach mixed with urine. Whether you leave your pet there for one day at daycare or for boarding, they will be returned to you reeking of urine, and gritty with dirt. Dirt I can deal with. Urine, no way. You will not want to touch your dog after a stay here. I know some dogs like to roll around in all sorts of things, but I had more than one dog here (one of which did not like to roll around) and they both reeked upon pickup. I also knew 3 other pet owners who had similar experiences. I chalked it up originally to standard "kennel smell" but have since taken my dogs to several other "free play" kennels and non-free play kennels-- they've never smelled the way they did at Ajax. The worst thing though-- my dog was seriously injured while in the care of the Ajax Pet Centre. I was told my dog was in a fight with another dog, and had started the fight. However, both the vet and the surgeon who cared for my dog advised that the wounds inflicted indicate my dog was in a defensive position (bitten on the inside of the rear leg). The other clue that my dog was not the aggressor was that there was no bleeding or inflammation around his mouth or gums, indicating that my dog had not bitten anything. These two observations were made independently by both the vet and the surgeon. Unlike other petcare centres, Ajax does not provide "doggy-cams" for you to observe your dogs, or to witness the care they receive. I'd think twice before taking your four-legged friends here.

This was Liam's third stay at the North York location, and it will be his last…read more On his first stay, I dropped off a healthy, clean dog and received an email the next day saying he had developed dried eye discharge, which staff had cleaned. I gave the benefit of the doubt. On his second stay, the same eye issue occurred again and was initially dismissed as dust. When I picked him up, his bark was strained and barely audible. I was told he had been barking while watching other dogs. After a few days of rest at home, his voice returned -- but it raised concerns about supervision and the environment. During his third stay, I was contacted and told he was limping while I was out of the country. Concerned, I arranged for my veterinary assistant to examine him the following morning. She confirmed there was nothing wrong with his back legs. He has always had a distinctive hop in his gait, which is not a new development. In addition, I have observed frequent staff turnover and a lack of organization. When I picked him up (after returning from Europe 14 days earlier), three staff members were sitting in the lobby on their phones. His belongings were returned in a disorganized manner, one coat was initially missing, and the bottom of his treat bag was damp. I also received a message stating that another dog was mounting him but that he "sets his boundaries well." As a paying client, I expect consistent supervision, cleanliness, and professionalism -- not reassurance that my small dog can manage situations himself. Repeated issues that only occur while he is in their care, combined with the lack of accountability and organization I have observed, have made it clear that this facility is not suited for my dog. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

On my last stay while I was traveling on business they alerted me that my dog was losing some weight and offered to add extra food to his meals, all at no cost. They keep you connected by sending you photos of your dog playing each week you are away. Speaking of which they pair your dog with another one and arrange playtime for them together during the day which is great for the dogs to burn energy and foster socialization skills. They offer a menu of care at a price which is only natural. You can choose to have your dog walked 1 to 3 times a day, 1 or 2 play dates, have it basically tucked in at bedtime with someone. I am outraged. When…read moreI picked up my dog Tallulah yesterday after Camille groomed her, I thought there was some kind of mistake, or maybe someone at Canine Social Company was pulling my leg. I had dropped off an itchy and smelling-like-dead-fish, shaggy ragamuffin of a dog at whom park snobs would point and snicker, "what kinda --doodle's THAT?" That's why I didn't recognize Tallulah when she emerged from Camille's salon so brushed up and out, her Afro puff bouncing with her every prance, that on the way home a dog-walker ran up to me and gushed, "what a gorgeous Portuguese Water Dog! She's obviously a show dog." This morning, when I chaperoned Tallulah on her "promenade through the park", I felt like I should have dressed up, with a top hat--and maybe a monocle--but definitely a walking stick with a huge gem on its handle.' Who needs that? It's a hassle and I hold Camille completely responsible for sculpting Tallulah into this attention-demanding diva. Her new stans would be mortified to discover Tallulah's nothing but a dolled-up bernedoodle with heady airs and a shiny coat. All that aside, Camille is a talented groomer who always makes Tallulah look and smell wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone, although not to everyone because it's already hard enough to get an appointment with her.

My Review maybe Long but its Important!!…read more My dog Shannon has been with Craig and Sally's Pack from the time she was 10 weeks old. I have had several dogs in the past and always thought that dog walkers weren't necessary but thanks to Dog Tired Toronto I have a completely different attitude. A home isn't a home without a dog but I have a very demanding career and thought it wasn't fair for the dog to be on her own allot so I decided to get a dog walker and that's when I found Dog Tired. Craig gracefully volunteered to come meet my family, (my family includes my dog Shannon) and we just hit it off. He has a great personality, is young and vibrant but most importantly very professional; he was hired! From the beginning Craig was on time and punctual always keeping me in the loop of what's going on and how Shannon was doing. I just love their Facebook Page and I love seeing my girls pictures there and how much fun she is having. I've even tried their Stay-Cation services, it was by far the best and Shannon had a blast and I knew she was safe! This part is the important part that I want you all to read: I knew Shannon loved Craig and his wife and I was happy with their services but I just don't think I really knew how important they were until this past week when Shannon went to the Vet to get Spayed and had to stay at home for a week. 0 - M - G!!! For the past 6 months I kept telling everyone what a calm, loving Black Lab I had and how she sleeps all the time and cuddles; has never torn up anything and has a great personality. Well one week away from Dog Tired and I have a Menace on my hands!! In the past week since she has been in the house lazing around she has eaten my favourite shoes, ripped my Persian rug, is moody and barks at everything in and out of the house. I have come to the realization that not only does Shannon need Dog Tired Toronto I NEED DOG TIRED!! I can honestly say that it is money well spent to have your fur baby go on an outing with Dog Tired Toronto. They socialize with other dogs, they are happy, well exercised and come home rested. Its the best investment I have ever made. Craig and Sally will always have employment with me and I think if you haven't called them you need to call them today because they are AMAZING!

I chose them due to great reviews- and they have gone above and beyond. Sue was quick to respond and invited Bear in for a consultation to see how he interacts with other dogs. From the initial consultation everyone I came in contact at the facility struck a chord with me as you can tell they are truly animal lovers and love what they do! Our dog was having a great time at camp until 3 days in when the very vigilant staff noticed he was having some health issues. Sue quickly took our dog over to a very trusted local vet. Unfortunately, our dog has some serious health issues we were unaware of due to old age (and not at the fault of the camp). After a 1 night stay at the vet instead of washing their hands (which surely would of been easier); Sue offered to take care of our dog until our return. She has sent us text message updates and through regular conversations with her I can confidently say that our dog is in great hands right now even in the worst case scenario. Like anything else in life- you hope everything goes planned. The fact that they shine in the worst case scenario is all you need to know. Your pet will have a great time here and will be in great hands. Thank you Sue and the staff of Kamp K9!
