We've only been part of k9Kate's pack for 2.5 months but we couldn't love her anymore! Kate has been with my pup Phoebe since she was 9 weeks, starting with puppy visits and recently graduating to adventure walks with the crew. Kate is trustworthy, a good communicator, honest, flexible, and LOVES her dogs! Phoebe gets so excited when Kate picks her up, I can really tell they have a special bond. Kate is such a pleasure to work with. My dogs are happier than ever and are completely exhausted when they return home form their adventure walks. I reached out to Kate many months ago with an unusual request. I have a shared custody arrangement for my two poodles and I needed to have pick up and drop offs be at different locations on different days of the week. She was more than happy to accommodate and gets it right each and every time! She recognized immediately that my dogs were somewhat stressed with this new arrangement and she recommended techniques and a behaviourist to help us get back on track. Our dogs are so much happier now and love the social time they get with other dogs and the adoration they receive from Kate. Kate has great connections for all your dog needs and put me in touch with a fabulous dog sitter (Traci) for when I was out of town over the busy holiday season (Kate was also away so couldn't help in this instance). Kate has our very highest recommendation! She is attentive and caring with the dogs, responsible, responsive, flexible and kind, it is clear that she loves her dogs and that they love her too. Our lively 11-month-old-lab Milton has been on regular adventure walks for 6-months. It is by far the favourite part of his day, he comes home exhausted and happy! We know Milton receives the best possible care, has a blast and as a plus, his recall and good manners are reinforced. Kate was recommended by an instructor at When Hounds Fly and had worked with our trainer Maggi Burtt and this has made communication between them about Milton's development straightforward. Kate knows so much about dogs and regularly communicates insights about Milton which helps us as dog parents. Kate has walked my dog Molly since she was a puppy. I was nervous about finding the right person but Kate came highly recommended by one of Molly's first dog friends and her mom. From day one Kate has been a pleasure to work with, accepting last minute boarding requests, added walks, and more importantly making sure that my little girl gets the love, attention and exercise she needs daily. I was worried when we moved outside of our previous dog walker's coverage area and had to find someone new. Kate (and Jess) are so much more than "walkers." They are trainers, protectors, nurturers and most of all dog LOVERS. I'm so happy we found K9 Kate so quickly and both our pups love her. Kate has been running our troublesome twins Thor and Tundra for a couple months now and they absolutely LOVE IT. They get all their morning energy out while having fun with their furry friends at the same time!! Kate is great with the dogs, they cant wait for their runs with her, she always sends us videos/pics and updates of the dogs and since they started running with her, their on leash behaviour has improved by so much. Kate has been walking my golden retriever for almost a year. She started walking Oakley when she was only a few months old and it has been amazing to know she is in such good hands every time she leaves the house. Kate is very dependable, responsive and adaptable to last minute changes in our schedule. Oakley is always excited to go on her adventures with Kate and she is always exhausted when she gets home, which has been a great help for my high energy pup! Kate is the BEST dog walker/adventure guide/pack leader. Our boy Homer has been with her since he was a pup, and Kate played an instrumental role in his walk-training and socialization. He's crazy about her and gives her tons of kisses when she comes to pick him up. Kate doesn't just walk the dogs, she takes them on all sorts of adventures to parks, ravines, and the lakeshore. When Homer gets home, he takes a nice long nap, and you know what they say: a tired dog is a happy dog. And we couldn't be happier either. Kate is amazing! I have a very busy life- new mom, back at work, and two high energy dogs! Kate takes my furry loves Shorty and Pebbles for daily runs and weekend excursions to places like Cherry Beach. She even offers a full day service so if we really need a hand, we get it. Kate and her team are absolutely incredible! Our dog Rudy gets so much joy from his walks and play time. We always know Rudy is getting consistent care and exercise. On top of that Kate makes sure she does everything she can to be flexible, add Rudy into a walk at the last moment, or take him for the overnight if we need her to. Kate comes to our home every day to bring our 6month old Frenchie puppy Mack out for his daily mid-day walk. Instead of just a potty break, she goes the extra mile by playing with him with his toys and bringing him to the park to socialize with other dogs. He absolutely loves her and vice versa! Kate took over as my dog's walker while my usual walker was on hiatus for the first few months of the Covid Pandemic. During a time when coordinating meetings was particularly difficult she was resourceful to arrange our introductions quickly so Jujube would not go without her walks. She communicated and let me know how Jujube was doing with the transition and then posted each walk on instagram so I could see the fun she was having while I was at work. This is a fantastic service. From the moment I met Kate I knew we were in good hands. She is sweet, Kind and totally loves animals. She always sends me pics of my happy dog when she has him. I have a very fit dog with boundless energy but when I come home I can tell he has had good exercise and he's not at my heels waiting to go back out. Holly is super patient and understanding of all of our dog's quirks, and has even given us a couple of tidbits that have made myself and my partner better dog owners.
