Absolutely Outstanding Dog Walking Service! I cannot recommend K9 Kate enough! We have a wonderful 12-year-old goldendoodle named Abbey, and having had dog walkers in various cities we've lived in over the years, I can confidently say that K9 Kate is truly one of the best. From our very first interaction, every team member we've met has been absolutely amazing - professional, caring, and clearly passionate about dogs. They've been incredibly accommodating with various pick-up times, which has been a huge help with our busy schedule. Their flexibility for last-minute schedule changes has also been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. What truly sets K9 Kate apart are the "little extras" they do. They've gone above and beyond, like feeding Abbey her dinner when we've been out late, and even grabbing her cooling vest soaking in water on hot days. These thoughtful gestures show just how much they care and how dedicated they are to Abbey's well-being. They also leave me a cute pic of Abbey with her furry friends after every walk! If you're looking for a reliable, flexible, and genuinely caring dog walking service, look no further than K9 Kate. They've earned every one of these five stars! read more

We've only been part of k9Kate's pack for 2.5 months but we couldn't love her anymore! Kate has been with my pup Phoebe since she was 9 weeks, starting with puppy visits and recently graduating to adventure walks with the crew. Kate is trustworthy, a good communicator, honest, flexible, and LOVES her dogs! Phoebe gets so excited when Kate picks her up, I can really tell they have a special bond. I feel a lot better about being at work all day knowing that Phoebe gets to go on an adventure with Kate and her dog-friends each afternoon. Kate provides me updates each day on how Phoebe was on her outing and acts like a partner in ensuring Phoebe receiving the training and experiences she needs as a young pup (leash skills, recall, socialization, puppys first winter...) Finding a dogwalker for Phoebe was a very stressful process - and I am so thankful that we were referred to Kate. She's really part of the family now. Note: I have cross posted this on Google, Facebook and Yelp so that everyone can know how great Kate is. read more

Kate is such a pleasure to work with. My dogs are happier than ever and are completely exhausted when they return home form their adventure walks. I reached out to Kate many months ago with an unusual request. I have a shared custody arrangement for my two poodles and I needed to have pick up and drop offs be at different locations on different days of the week. She was more than happy to accommodate and gets it right each and every time! She recognized immediately that my dogs were somewhat stressed with this new arrangement and she recommended techniques and a behaviourist to help us get back on track. Our dogs are so much happier now and love the social time they get with other dogs and the adoration they receive from Kate. Kate has great connections for all your dog needs and put me in touch with a fabulous dog sitter (Traci) for when I was out of town over the busy holiday season (Kate was also away so couldn't help in this instance). I highly recommend her and am just so thrilled we found her. read more

Kate has our very highest recommendation! She is attentive and caring with the dogs, responsible, responsive, flexible and kind, it is clear that she loves her dogs and that they love her too. Our lively 11-month-old-lab Milton has been on regular adventure walks for 6-months. It is by far the favourite part of his day, he comes home exhausted and happy! We know Milton receives the best possible care, has a blast and as a plus, his recall and good manners are reinforced. Kate was recommended by an instructor at When Hounds Fly and had worked with our trainer Maggi Burtt and this has made communication between them about Milton's development straightforward. Kate knows so much about dogs and regularly communicates insights about Milton which helps us as dog parents. Milton has also boarded with Kate and gone on leashed solo walks as our needs have changed, even on short notice. We feel so fortunate to have found her. read more

Kate has walked my dog Molly since she was a puppy. I was nervous about finding the right person but Kate came highly recommended by one of Molly's first dog friends and her mom. From day one Kate has been a pleasure to work with, accepting last minute boarding requests, added walks, and more importantly making sure that my little girl gets the love, attention and exercise she needs daily. The strength of Kate's character and integrity became even more apparent the other week when she told me she would not take my dog on double walks even though it would mean more income to her because it wasn't necessary. She went above and beyond in explaining the risk of over exercising your dog and not encouraging them to be independent. She has added so much to Molly's life. I am forever grateful and can't recommend Kate and her team highly enough!! Thank you Molly's mom Jennifer read more

I was worried when we moved outside of our previous dog walker's coverage area and had to find someone new. Kate (and Jess) are so much more than "walkers." They are trainers, protectors, nurturers and most of all dog LOVERS. I'm so happy we found K9 Kate so quickly and both our pups love her. I also had the pleasure of spending a (crazy busy) day with Kate and the pack and I know first hand how much she loves and knows the personality of every single dog she takes care of. Would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the peace of mind knowing their dogs are in great hands. On a practical note: I find the cost super reasonable, especially considering we have two dogs. :):) read more

Kate has been running our troublesome twins Thor and Tundra for a couple months now and they absolutely LOVE IT. They get all their morning energy out while having fun with their furry friends at the same time!! Kate is great with the dogs, they cant wait for their runs with her, she always sends us videos/pics and updates of the dogs and since they started running with her, their on leash behaviour has improved by so much. They have the BEST time in the mornings with Laila, Dexter, Riley, Austin and of course, Kate!! I recommend her service to anyone who has a pup that has too much energy for their own good, she is the best dog runner i have had the pleasure of knowing!!!! read more

Kate has been walking my golden retriever for almost a year. She started walking Oakley when she was only a few months old and it has been amazing to know she is in such good hands every time she leaves the house. Kate is very dependable, responsive and adaptable to last minute changes in our schedule. Oakley is always excited to go on her adventures with Kate and she is always exhausted when she gets home, which has been a great help for my high energy pup! Kate always sends photos of their adventures and when Oakley was younger kept me informed of the timing of her drop-offs and bathroom breaks! I would highly recommend Kate's service. read more

Kate is the BEST dog walker/adventure guide/pack leader. Our boy Homer has been with her since he was a pup, and Kate played an instrumental role in his walk-training and socialization. He's crazy about her and gives her tons of kisses when she comes to pick him up. Kate doesn't just walk the dogs, she takes them on all sorts of adventures to parks, ravines, and the lakeshore. When Homer gets home, he takes a nice long nap, and you know what they say: a tired dog is a happy dog. And we couldn't be happier either. She's dependable, affordable, and a really nice cool person to deal with. 5 stars! read more

Kate is amazing! I have a very busy life- new mom, back at work, and two high energy dogs! Kate takes my furry loves Shorty and Pebbles for daily runs and weekend excursions to places like Cherry Beach. She even offers a full day service so if we really need a hand, we get it. Having this kind of service, makes my life and my family's life easier. Plus, the dogs always come home happy and relaxed. It really brightens my day to get her daily updates- seeing the little dogs running with massive smile is truly hilarious!! Best dog walker we've ever had. Thank you K9 Kate! read more

Kate and her team are absolutely incredible! Our dog Rudy gets so much joy from his walks and play time. We always know Rudy is getting consistent care and exercise. On top of that Kate makes sure she does everything she can to be flexible, add Rudy into a walk at the last moment, or take him for the overnight if we need her to. She has obvious love for all of the dogs and it's clear she hires people that love being with dogs just as much as she does. Rudy is always thrilled to see her, and that makes it so easy for us to commit to Kate. I highly recommend her services! read more

I'm so happy I found K9 Kate's. I am new to the city and my pup is very large (like a small pony) and is very sensitive/ has some separation anxiety. Kate was super responsive, efficient and organized and made it incredibly easy to set up a weekly walking schedule. Not only that, but the walkers are extremely experienced and take exceptional care of my pup. My pup absolutely adores Holly and is always very happy when he arrives home. Thank you so much K9 Kate's team, so grateful to have found you! read more

Kate comes to our home every day to bring our 6month old Frenchie puppy Mack out for his daily mid-day walk. Instead of just a potty break, she goes the extra mile by playing with him with his toys and bringing him to the park to socialize with other dogs. He absolutely loves her and vice versa! We love the daily updates and pictures we get from her. You can tell that she has a special bond with dogs... she is very trustworthy, responsible and great with dogs! Definitely recommend her. read more

Kate took over as my dog's walker while my usual walker was on hiatus for the first few months of the Covid Pandemic. During a time when coordinating meetings was particularly difficult she was resourceful to arrange our introductions quickly so Jujube would not go without her walks. She communicated and let me know how Jujube was doing with the transition and then posted each walk on instagram so I could see the fun she was having while I was at work. I could not recommend her more. read more

Kate has walked and run with Storm on and off for 8 yrs. She is like family to both of us. She is reliable, accommodating and always goes the extra mile to make each and every dog's day. Her excursions are incredible ... What dog wouldn't love a 4 hours adventure with an amazing pack and pack leader?! Great updates and pix too! Highly recommend to anyone. Special service, special person, special dogs ... Just special all around. read more

This is a fantastic service. From the moment I met Kate I knew we were in good hands. She is sweet, Kind and totally loves animals. She always sends me pics of my happy dog when she has him. I have a very fit dog with boundless energy but when I come home I can tell he has had good exercise and he's not at my heels waiting to go back out. She takes him for more than an hour and the price is perfect. Definitely recommend!! read more

I'm writing a response to a bad review left by a disgruntled former employee that was terminated yesterday. I have worked for Kate for about a year. She treats her staff and clients with the utmost respect. She puts the needs of the dogs in her care above all else. It's a shame that someone dares to slander this company. I'm writing this on my own accord because this once former employees actions have hurt us all. read more

K9 Kate's is great! Our rescue pup always looks forward to her weekly walks with Holly (one of K9 Kate's dog walkers). Holly is super patient and understanding of all of our dog's quirks, and has even given us a couple of tidbits that have made myself and my partner better dog owners. We also appreciate Kate's timely communication and updates. She's always responds back in a timely manner if we have any questions. read more

Kate LOVES dogs and they love her! She will take care of your dog like he/she is her own! Kate is a very kind, lovely and trustworthy person. She is also extremely reliable and dependable, but most importantly, my dog "Dexter" LOVES her and LOVES going on the daily walks and expeditions with Kate and all his furry friends! I would highly recommend Kate and her dog walking, running and boarding services!! read more
