We initially wanted to see one pup but since someone else had priority we saw another pup (her sibling in fact). We feel in love with Winnie straight away, and we decided she was coming home with us. Winnie has been a bundle of joy and made our home so much better. We lost our Boston Terrier a few years ago and it was a struggle to decide to have another dog in the home but we are so glad we adopted Winnie. A Path 4 Paws has a great system and it was very easy to see the pups in the kennel, have some time to see them and decide. When I entered I was greeted nicely and professionally and they explained the process of how the cafe works. The process to enter the cafe involved going through their lobby, then their shop area, and sanitizing your hands, then entering the part where the cats were. While playing and interacting with the cats you get to have a soda/water and 2 snacks. There are a few different cat areas for you to explore and many cats to see! I had a pleasant time here and ended up finding a cat I wanted to adopt. The adoption counselor was also nice and professional. When I went, it was crowded and there were many cats, but it was clear the shelter was doing the best they could to find these cats good homes and caring for as many as they could. What's cool about this cat cafe is that they partner a lot with groups who rescue strays etc, rather than getting these cats from people giving their cat up.

We went for their first monthly sale to raise money to help the cats. The cats there are wonderful - calm, some want attention, some don't, some love getting scritches. They were all healthy. Adopted a kitten from here…read more The staff is friendly and they let us bring our dog to meet the kitten in case they did not get along. I asked a bunch of times if the cat had any illnesses and they said she did not. As soon as I we put her in the car I noticed something was wrong. She was sneezing a lot. Took her home and set her up in her own space to feel comfortable. The next day the sheets were covered with blood! Immediately took her to the vet. She had parasites and an infection. I had to spend another $200 for the visit, fecal test, and medication. When I reached out to Lisa she did not offer anything. I believe all the cats there are sick. It is just the nature of the environment they are in. If one kitten has something it spreads to others. They also constantly get new kittens which can bring in parasites or viruses. I believe they knew the kitten had issues and they lied to us. This is not right and I am honestly shocked that they would lie to use about it. Even though our kitten is very sweet I would recommend going somewhere else! This place is not transparent and they will be done with you as soon as you hand over the cash.

Additionally, they do a lot of events to promote animal health and welfare throughout the community or partner with other organizations to do so. Most recently, I attended a microchip clinic hosted on-site here that the Girl Scout troop sponsored. Newest newsletters from this place in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is about a doggy. I will not give his name! No one knows how long he had been "running on the streets!" Dark, he was alone, very emaciated. A volunteer at this Nevada SPCA found the dog. Veterinary team did tests. The doggy had a condition. When said doggy was adopted, the people that adopted him mastered how to administer medicines for the condition! Glad said doggy is now adopted into his forever family! Thank you to this SPCA for all you do to help animals in your care! Forty plus years as No Kill Shelter! There is an area where potential adopters, they go to this area to get to know the animal better! There is an exercise area where Volunteers can help the animals get daily exercise. When an animal is brought to this SPCA, if not already microchipped, the veterinary team will microchip the animals!

Dr. Janjic and team did an outstanding job with our 13 year old dog Buddy!…read more Our dog had a major cleaning with many extractions. This was an all day visit with the procedure starting around 8am and finishing around noon. We received a photo of Buddy and phone update with a time to pick him up right after the procedure. When we picked our dog up, the staff explained the total cost and provided an award for Buddy. Next, we met with the doctor to get Buddy. As I held Buddy, Dr. Janjic went over the images of his teeth and the severity of his need for extractions on specific teeth. Dr. Janjic answered our questions and you could genuine tell he was happy for us and Buddy. Dr. Janjic explained Buddy will be back to his old (pun intended) self very soon. The doctor also provided Buddy with medication for the pain while at home for us to administer. We are grateful for the care, compassion, and expertise provided to our family member from the entire team. We know each of you played a part in our positive experience. It didn't take long to fall in love and take her home. Unfortunately, she is afraid of the world right now, but in time, I believe she will come around. While there, at least 5 other animals were adopted. I think it's wonderful they have specials where the fee's are waived. I adopted a previous cat from there and she lived for 15 1\2 years. So many animals need homes, if you are on the fence about adopting, I highly recommend checking this place out.

while the idea behind this establishment is to unite these animals with loving families and their…read moreforever homes, i have to question their overall process when allowing certain individuals to take responsibility for an animal. this chow chow/ akita mix was thrown out of a car with no collar by his previous owner around e sahara and fremont st. a female drug addict that was actively doing drugs while her kid was in the car. cps was also called on her the same day. his ears were missing hair, possibly burnt off and scabbing. we found out that we were his third owners after getting his microchip number transferred into our names and that he was adopted out of animal foundation. this place needs to take extra precautions and do more research when allowing just anyone to adopt an animal. the dog wasn't reported missing and/or stolen by this owner which just comes to show she had no plans on taking care of him or taking responsibility. its understandable to want to get these animals into a home, to make space, but to put them in a worse situation is insane. they're safer in the shelter then they are with these people. glad to say kuma is now happy with our three other boys, ears fully healed and loving life after we took him in after that whole ordeal. please do better!
