Our dog Appa gets scared with new people, but Deka approached him slowly and with care. We received pictures of Appa during his appointment which we appreciated! Deka advised us about a bald spot on Appa's coat and said to spray some moisturizer on it. Overall we will definitely be coming back and experienced wonderful service.

We are here for the holidays and it was her first time in Nevada so we wanted to give her a groom experience over here. I'm glad we chose this place because the hand scissor skills and experience was top tier! They actually do get spoiled. She got her photos taken during the groom and after! Her hair was very soft and she smelled so good. There were still some armpit knots afterwards but it was very minimal and hard to spot so missing it was very likely but not impossible. I know Ginger is not fond of having her under brushed so I think her groomer did not want to force it on her and prioritized her comfort which I definitely understand and would rather prefer it that way. Her overall cut was honestly very surprising to me. It was very symmetrical, detailed and polished. I can usually tell when they cut more clipper focused (from bringing her to different groomers which let me see the different styles--I'm picky) because some thigh edges get left out, some indents get visible, and it ends up being a random longer tuft of hair though in this cut there was visibly none. The hair her groomer cut (or Kandice in particular) was molded and shaped well. She nailed the round face, her legs and the start of her tail by her butt looks more flushed and it feels flowy. It's hard to explain. There was a tuft of hair by her butt before that didn't really flush the start of her tail and now it's basically cut well--I feel like I'm saying jargon at this point but you have to see/feel it in person to tell. The cut by her visor was also so admirable. It looks so straight and detailed; I'm so happy with it. I can tell she took her time, and that Ginger was comfortable enough to let her do it. I'm pretty sure it's a given with all the pictures you see here. Them taking pics of the pups before and after just shows how confident they are in the final look. I'm really satisfied with how she cut Ginger's hair! This raised my standards a lot more with hand-scissor cutting and I fear I might have to start looking again around Torrance sigh. Now, the store itself. In the morning when I dropped her off I got the strong dog odor smell when I opened the door which I'm not fond of, because her groomers at home do not have that so it's possible to mask the smell. Though when I picked her up the store smelled okay, so it might have been one of the clients, but just a heads up that it can be one or the other. The entry experience was awkward, but nothing bad. They just don't greet you until you get to the register bahaha. Their merchandise was so cute. I wish I budgeted for that, but it'll have to be for next time. The price was a little inconsistent as well because before when I called they said that it would be around $90 since the groomer I chose is $20 above the beginning price of $70, but I ended up paying for $100 and some change. I didn't mind because the matts might've been the issue and we usually pay around that price back at home, but just be prepared to bring extra. They cut really well so I had no issues paying more than I was quoted for, but some people might not be. This is where I take off a star when it's regarding the storefront and the pricing. Regardless, all-in-all great visit with some minor understandable inconveniences. They take their time with your pup, they SPOIL them. Their hand-scissor skills are very proficient, and you get cute pics of your pup depending on the season! There is no doubt when they take care of your pup. Thank you so much for taking care of our little Ginger during her vacation at Nevada. We will definitely come back if we stay here with her again next holiday when we come back to visit my husband's family. Thank you Kandice! Happy holidays!

Adopted a kitten from here…read more The staff is friendly and they let us bring our dog to meet the kitten in case they did not get along. I asked a bunch of times if the cat had any illnesses and they said she did not. As soon as I we put her in the car I noticed something was wrong. She was sneezing a lot. Took her home and set her up in her own space to feel comfortable. The next day the sheets were covered with blood! Immediately took her to the vet. She had parasites and an infection. I had to spend another $200 for the visit, fecal test, and medication. When I reached out to Lisa she did not offer anything. I believe all the cats there are sick. It is just the nature of the environment they are in. If one kitten has something it spreads to others. They also constantly get new kittens which can bring in parasites or viruses. I believe they knew the kitten had issues and they lied to us. This is not right and I am honestly shocked that they would lie to use about it. Even though our kitten is very sweet I would recommend going somewhere else! This place is not transparent and they will be done with you as soon as you hand over the cash.

How about 500 stars?!? If I could I would!…read more- what words do I use? There's not enough to be said about the selfless people involved in this organization. My first encounter was about a year ago, I was trying to help two homeless dogs abandoned, because their owner had died. Wonderful! ... without getting all crazy, I have to say they performed immaculately. I have nothing but the highest praise. Recently I found myself in the hospital - it was totally unexpected. Nikki and Jennifer came to the rescue and gave Homie (my pup) a wonderful temporary place to live. Homie is a special dog, at 11 yrs he's gone from being "the Iife of the party" to "a very mellow fellow" He's got some health issues- so I was so relieved when Nikki knew exactly what I was talking about, when I described his regimen ( pills, etc) AND Jennifer ... well I can say, her picture should be in the dictionary under the definition of "angel" Homie has Cushings disease/Diabetes/cataracts and a bum leg. That translates to a lot of care in attention. He needs two pills every day to keep his adrenal gland under control (Cushings disease) he needs two daily insulin injections (with meals) plus a daily blood monitoring (that gets recorded and reported to the vet during what have been WEEKLY visits. I DID mention that Jennifer is a Angel...right? She even brought my Lil HomeSlice to see me in the hospital. AWESOME! ...AND that Homies a special kinda dog!

I was very disappointed with my visit and honestly wish I could give zero stars…read more I made an appointment for my pet's health exam so she could fly via air cargo. The exam itself took longer than expected compared to other clinics, but that wasn't my main concern. After the exam, I reviewed the paperwork and noticed the health certificate did not specify that my dog was cleared to fly or address any weather/acclimation requirements. When I brought this up, the front desk staff said they would check with Dr. Aleksandar Janjic. I was then told that the doctor was unwilling to complete that portion due to concerns about liability. While I understand being cautious, this was the entire purpose of my visit. At that point, I had already paid and was told I could not receive a refund because the certificate is considered a "state document." That left me paying for something I could not use. The interaction at the front desk was also very uncomfortable. I was asked personal questions about why my dog was leaving and whether I was rehoming her. The staff member then compared my situation to her own dog, saying her dog was able to fly in the main cabin--without acknowledging that my dog is larger and subject to different airline restrictions. There was no empathy shown, and I was even given unsolicited suggestions about giving my dog to someone else. For context, my dog was simply traveling to be with my family, not being rehomed. Overall, I left feeling frustrated, unheard, and out the cost of a service that did not meet my needs--especially during a time when I was already under financial stress. Thankfully, I was able to find another veterinary hospital that understood the requirements and helped me obtain the correct documentation so my dog could travel safely.
