I'm so grateful to Diane, Nikki, and all the wonderful fosters at A Home 4 Spot for our sweet girl, Colette aka Louise. She's the missing piece to our family and we are all so in love with her.

Wow. I got a rude response from Diana. My family and I have been looking for a dog and submitted an application on a fb post from Saturday 1/19 at 4pm that stated 2 dogs would be available in the next few weeks. I followed their instructions per their website and submitted an application and sent an email prior to 7am on Sunday 1/20. Diana sent an email back on Monday 1/21 that both dogs had been adopted yesterday, 1/20. I replied back saying that I understood but wanted to know the process was so that I would know going forward. Her response was "No." I really hadn't let my hopes get up since I've been let down so many times before but I was appalled at the lack of empathy from a local non-profit that "services" the needy pets in Las Vegas.

I want to thank Carrie for this awesome experience for our new fur baby. It was our first time adopting and it was a great experience. Thankful for our new addition.

Sylvester!

I am beyond grateful for this organization! I recently adopted a 10 year old dog from Diana at A Home 4 Spot. Sylvester (formerly Mony), was rescued from a local shelter, because he was set to be euthanized for "fear-biting". I am so grateful that they took a chance on him, and enabled me to give him a second chance at life. Diana was very easy to work with when it came to the adoption process. Sylvester's amazing foster mom Kim was wonderful as well. They worked around my schedule, and even met with us on a Sunday. I was very impressed with how passionate Diana is about the rescue, and with how hard she and the team work around the clock to save these animals. I have stayed in touch with both of these wonderful ladies. I am definitely going to be adopting from this rescue in the near future!!

My Rylie girl

I adopted my Rylie nearly two years ago from A Home 4 Spot. They were compassionate and caring. They created a loving environment for the dogs. The staff was friendly and communicative. I plan on getting another dog from them when the time comes. And I live in Los Angeles!

Kiko- age 18 now!

I have adopted 2 dogs from AH4S- both seniors with special needs. This rescue has gone above and beyond for both. One had thousands of dollars of eye surgeries to help with her cataracts. The other was surrendered at age 17 with all types of issues. This rescue responded quickly and answered all my questions. I highly recommend.

Thank you for saving Lana!

I adopted my Bergey from Diana's shelter, my adorable little Chiweenie. I can appreciate Diana's application process because she's very thorough in vetting a client since she aims to place a pet in a proper home to minimize the chances of a return. She wouldn't want a large dog going into an apartment setting especially if she knows the breed needs space. Diana knows her breeds. She really cares for her pets and invests in keeping them well taken care of. I vouch for Diana any day! Thank you Diana!

This is a phenominal rescue. Really care about the animals in their care. They are very careful about who they let adopt or foster.

The Halloween decorations were amazing, and you can tell a lot of effort went into making everything look festive and fun. The staff was fantastic, and the service was great! Everything was well organized, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It's a wonderful place to spend time with family and get into the Halloween spirit. As seen, in my Pics The Gift Shop's items' isn't priced too badly; there were some items that I was considering, but you know how it is, after the Holidays, your bank account is pretty lean; I have a lot of people to buy for, I've got a large family. There were five Grinch- themed trees. Many of the trees were decorated very nicely. It's a beautiful sight to see. We went on the Carousel, and we did two rounds of Mini-Golf, which was fun. We also went down the Avalanche twice. Stringbean went three times. Gone are the years of seeing all of the Gingerbread Houses. Now, there are a lot of fundraising food/drink stands, I get it, it's an organization.

They have both been such a big help to me throughout my journey, and I truly appreciate everything they have done for me and my family. They are very knowledgeable, understanding, considerate, and always willing to help. They don't just give you information and send you on your way. They actually take the time to listen to you, help you understand things, and make sure you have the support and resources you need. Maria has honestly been such a blessing to me. She has helped me in so many ways, from giving me advice and guidance to helping me find resources and understand more about parenting, myself, my children, and everything I've been going through. She has also kept up with my court dates and my CPS case and has been willing to communicate with my worker when needed. That means a lot because when you're going through so much at once, having somebody who genuinely cares enough to check on you and help you figure things out makes a huge difference. I've honestly had moments where I cried because I was just so appreciative of her and everything she has done for me. And Maria has a smile that is seriously contagious! She has such a warm personality, and she makes you feel comfortable enough to open up without feeling like somebody is judging you. That's important because sometimes people look at your circumstances and make assumptions about you without knowing your story or everything you've had to overcome. Maria makes you feel like you're still a person who deserves support, understanding, and the opportunity to grow. She genuinely wants to see parents do better, learn from their experiences, and become the best versions of themselves. You can tell she really cares about the families she works with, and I appreciate that more than she probably knows. I also want to give Markus his flowers because I truly appreciate him and the support he has provided throughout my journey as well. I'm thankful for the people at Foster Kinship who take the time to help families and make sure parents have access to information, resources, and guidance that can actually make a difference in their lives. Sometimes you need somebody to help you see things from a different perspective, and having people who are willing to do that without making you feel bad about yourself is something I don't take for granted. The parent support group has also been such a great experience for me. The classes are actually helpful, informative, and give you things you can apply to your everyday life. We talk about healthy choices, mental health, parenting, accountability, personal growth, and so much more. I've learned a lot from these classes, and I can honestly say that some of the things I've learned have helped me look at situations differently and think more about the choices I make. It's not just about learning how to be a better parent. It's also about learning how to be a better person, understanding yourself, recognizing areas where you can improve, and being willing to do the work to get there. One thing I really love about the group is the other parents, too. Everybody is supportive, and it feels good to be around people who can relate to certain things you're going through. We can talk, laugh, cry, share our experiences, and learn from each other without feeling like we have to pretend everything is perfect. Sometimes we're laughing, sometimes we're getting emotional, and sometimes somebody says something that really makes you stop and think. LOL. But that's what makes the group so special to me. You realize you're not the only person trying to figure things out, and you can learn from other people's experiences while also sharing your own. It's a safe space where you can be yourself, be honest, and know that you're surrounded by people who are also trying to grow. I actually look forward to continuing the classes because there is always something new to learn. Even though I've already learned so much, I know there is always room for improvement. I want to keep growing as a mother, as a person, and in the way I handle different situations in life. I want to continue making healthier choices, strengthening my parenting, and becoming the woman I know I can be. These classes have helped me understand that growth doesn't stop just because you get through a difficult situation. You can always learn something new about yourself, your children, your relationships, and life in general. Maria, I really hope you know how much you are appreciated. You put so much care and effort into helping parents and families, and I hope you know that the things you do don't go unnoticed. You have helped me through some difficult moments, given me guidance when I needed it, and helped me feel supported during a time when I was trying to get so many things together. I appreciate the way you show up for people, the way you encourage

She said it was an artist from Los Angeles named Mike Norice. If you Google-search Pearson Community Center + Mike Norice, you'll see a few videos on this place. It was breathtaking to say the least. Just absolutely beautiful the work he did, which is called "Unsung Pillars of the Westside". There were other works of art (mixed media) throughout the lobby from community members that I found to be beautiful as well. Volunteering is something that one should always make time for. It not only gives back to the…read morecommunity, it makes one feel that they are apart of something. It's the annual wrap party here at NPHY. This is the third annual wrap volunteer party for this amazing foundation that cares for the displaced youth of Las Vegas. Having some history with this organization it was my pleasure to be included in the volunteers that come together and make this event possible. As our children grew I always enjoyed volunteering and I have been blessed to of done volunteer work with my twins along side me. At first we used to just donate old clothing or odds and ends here. One day while one of the full time employees were working they followed us out to the bike to admire the Harley. From there we participate in regular events as they happen. The annual wrap party is a volunteer event that I can schedule on my calendar and not have it just pop up, I can plan and adjust my schedule as needed for this event every year. Now, your probably asking yourself what is a "wrap party," right! Many organizations and individuals citizens donate new clothing, toiletries, snacks, and shoes to help the local homeless youth. Each individual youth is assigned a number by their case worker. The children will put their wants and needs on this sheet of paper. Then in turn, we "the volunteers," will put go put together the items that they want in a box; then wrap it up with a bow. After all that: the staff here will take each care package that will be given to the client that we assembled. The volunteers personal identity is kept a secret so no one knows whom put their package together. Their is an extensive network of volunteers that come together and assemble all of the donations. The assortments go based upon certain categories that make it easy for us volunteers to see what the individual wants and needs. Then based on the sizes that are needed we put these boxes together, then wrap them up with pretty festive wrapping paper. The bow goes on top and it's off to make a personalized card. The card is an individual act of love that you can personalize and express whatever kind of message you want the individual receiving it to know. The sponsorship that is affiliated with making this event happen is provided by many local companies. Some of these entities are very large and some are very small owned local businesses that just want to help those in need at least get something for Christmas. The holidays can be very hard especially for those children that feel abandoned by society. It is organizations that come together and lend some support that make these less fortunate feel loved a little. The warmth that has been shared this year by such companies as: MGM Resorts, All State, The Refined Agency, Cafe Lola, Tao, to name just a few large ones involved. On the smaller note, such locally owned small businesses such as: Angelicious Gourmet Popcorn participate in sharing the love to those in need. Red Rock catered most of the food that helps keep us volunteers fed with carbs and going with coffee and H20. As a local resident of Las Vegas it takes a village to raise our youth. No child should ever feel that they are not loved. When I was younger I had a bad experience that caused my parents to loose custody of me at sixteen. I was all alone but it was the love of my caseworker that steered me in the proper direction. The love of a staff member is all sometimes we need. To know that homeless youth feel that society has failed them breaks my heart. What can I do to help them? Volunteering is what I can do to reach them, even though it is someone's voice. I can educate my own children to always remember that it could be you. Trust this past year if it was not for the love and support of my friends and family I would not be here. If this is how I can spread joy to those that in need I'm going to do it. Remember those in need this holiday season. Make someone's Christmas a little less cold and dark!
