Roast chicken with the best homemade fries.
Wahine M.

Their kitchen doesn't reopen til 1pm and the waitress was a bit standoffish at first when we told her we would just wait the 15 mins til 1pm. Luckily she made up for it by bringing us the menus when 1 did come around. Their special which includes a drink, meal, and coffee or tea was a great deal. My roast chicken was 12€ and my husbands burger was 9€, both cooked to perfection. Lots of locals and tourists alike.

This cute cafe was definitely an awesome find! I am so happy I stepped inside. Was greeted immediately by BOTH staff members and when I ordered my drink, she looked at me and waited patiently while I tried to practise my Spanish! The coffee was great, awesome prices and the decor was to die for!! I spent a good 20 mins there just watching the staff and the people coming in and out. Going back tomorrow morning!

So sorry not the best photo. But the best nachos ever! Seriously amazing! Do it!

Loved this place. It is a find! Wonderful food in a very fun atmosphere with great people working there. We love love loved the nachos. Being from Arizona I was a little worried to order them and was so very happy we did! Excellent! Took out quiches for the morning and we will be back. Great place for sure!

Delicious olive selection

I cannot rave about this place enough! I'm in here minimum twice a week - whether it's for a quick and simple cafe con leche or full meal, Petit Pot never disappoints. The staff are always incredibly friendly - making sure you're comfortable and if you struggle with Spanish they're patient with efforts but most speak enough English for you to order and understand what you are ordering. I first came here in September and ordered the sirloin tacos that I still think about to this day. Their salads are fresh, delicious empanadas, great nachos (big enough to share - too much to try on your own), and the patatas bravas are some of the best I've had in the area. Currently in a quest to find the best bravas in Barcelona so I order try at every restaurant and can confirm that Petit Pot's have perfected theirs. The potatoes are perfectly crisp but not heavily fried and they have generous portions of authentic garlic aioli and savory Brava sauce that actually has some spice but doesn't overpower the rest of the dish. Their cafes have yet to disappoint and are all under 2 euro with their cafe con leche being 1.5 which is about average but many places in the area often overcharge (tourists). I can't eat gluten so I can't personally attest to their focaccia or sandwiches, but everyone I've been with here has had nothing but good things to say. One of my favorite spots in Barcelona to eat, study, and relax!

Great atmosphere! And beautiful good at a decent price. They didn't mind that I sat there for hours working on my computer. It's a cozy, hipster vibe cafe with Edison lightburbs, cushions on the benches, and food served on wooden boards. Great place to meet up with a friend, get some studying in or settle down with a good book. Try the vegan burger it's a treat!

Great spot for breakfast! Clean ingredients and good portions. Stop for a quick bite or an eggs & bacon breakfast.

Ziryab seemed to fit the bill, so we made plans to stop here during our first night in the city. Ziryab is located close to the Gothic Quarter, on side street. It's kind of inconspicuous from the outside, but the interior gives way to a really welcoming space. The restaurant is separated into two main areas, with an earth-tone color scheme that has a rustic, almost cave-like aesthetic. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the dining room open and spacious. The tapas menu had a good selection, and we decided on several items: pan con tomate, sweet potato rolls, chicken cannelloni, bacon-wrapped figs, croquettes, falafel, and a charcuterie board. All the tapas were great - my favorites were the chicken cannelloni, pan con tomate, and the charcuterie board. The cannelloni especially was a standout - definitely a unique dish, and the chicken was super flavorful. We opted for dessert, and got the feta whip cheesecake - this was great as well. The combination of tang and sweet was a good finisher to our meal. Service was great - everyone was friendly and our dishes were served at a good pace. Overall, I'm glad I tried out Ziryab - the tapas were delicious and atypical of ones you find elsewhere in Barcelona. I would have no qualms returning here for another meal.

We ordered the zucchini noodles with prawns and cuddlefish, zucchini flower stuffed with burrata, goat cheese and honey toast. Everything was good. We also had the black paella with prawns aioli. The charge for paella is per person but we asked for a portion for 2. Service was nice and friendly. Our server kept us clean and was able to help with off menu drinks. The service was very attentive, and our waiter, a fellow Ecuadorian...was very professional and friendly. We ordered staple tapas and dessert, and the food was very delicious. I had no idea how huge and elegant the restaurant was until I went inside to use the bathroom before leaving. We were there just after 7 pm so it wasn't as busy as I imagine it will get later, because in Barcelona, people don't have dinner until 9 or 10 PM. We ordered fresh salmon with dill, coroquetas de jamón iberico, a cod fritter, and chicken cannelloni with foie gras and black truffle sauce. We also ordered the pan with tomate, of course to soak up the truffle sauce. The cannelloni was amazing! I mean it melted in your mouth amazing!! After our snacks... We ordered dessert. We ordered their homemade Belgian chocolate ice cream, which is hands-down, the best chocolate ice cream I've ever eaten. And we also ordered their version of a crème brûlée called crema Catalonya! Both desserts were amazing, however, I highly recommend the Belgian chocolate ice cream. Overall, the experience was amazing and I hope to pop in again before we leave. Enjoy!

Cute place, nicely decorated- has great seating places to hang out. Staff welcoming and efficient. Food was great- needed a healthy meal- and we got it. We got the fattoush salad: was refreshing Mixed grill- had a kebab, grilled chicken, grilled beef (or lamb maybe- whatever it was, was good), and a lamb chop. Served on the classic thin bread with a side of grilled potato, onion, pepper! It was everything I needed it to be- all the meat was tender, flavorful and moist. Both my son and I are very picky about Lebanese food having been spoiled by the excellent Lebanese in our home town Los Angeles, so we ordered with trepidation. The very first must-try dish immediately set our minds at ease: please, do yourselves a favor and order their Fatoush salad. It's done so right, juicy tangy, bursting with flavors and the pita in the salad is made into a curly flower and gives a delicious crunch. We liked the dish of garbanzo and yogurt a bit less, as it was quite heavy and lacked flavor. My son was very pleased with shish tavouk with chicken, and I loved my halloumi dish. The service was slow (as everywhere in Barcelona) but it was efficient, and our Egyptian waiter had good recommendations for everything. He was funny and personable.
