This is the calzone cut in half. You can see how flat it is compared to the other photos from other users? it was this flat before cutting.

What happened to Pete's???? They are not the same, I don't know what Jake/Owner did to the recipes but it's not good. I'm bummed bc my parents took me here growing up in the 90's and I've been here as an adult, and they're flat, lifeless, the chicken cheddar calzone had no mozzarella (it used to have some, I know cheddar is in it) like it used to, but either way it was like a liquid mess inside this time. Runny insides and flat outsides Another one bites the dust and I'm gutted. This isn't Pete's anymore. They have no volume, flat as a pancake. I wish I didn't have to say that. We've ordered a few since it was sold and notice the difference, these other photos seem like they're made for friends/reviewers. I'm not sure where these people are getting their calzones that are in the pictures here but that is what they used to look like, unlike the ones we've gotten the last several times which were flat as a pancake. I see that I'm not the only person who's noticed. I'm also wondering if the people posting these stellar reviews with these really well-made voluminous calzones are friends and family because none of the other calzones that we've gotten looked anything near that good. Maybe make them like that for everyone and the reviews will go up from 3.8 stars. but I don't see that the new owner seems to care. Staff is nice. I wish I took a pic before cutting it bc it was flat and sad.

Chicken, garlic calzone.

Good food. Had the chicken calzone, good service, lots of seating. Ambiance is a typical pizza spot.

You must come here! We were looking for a quick spot to eat and came across this cute pizza place. We walked inside and were immediately greeted by friendly staff who were enthusiastic while taking our order. I also spotted an old Mrs. Pac-Man game towards the back . We ordered the small "Sharp Ave" pizza and were pleasantly surprised by the outcome! It was perfect for three people (mind you we weren't too hungry) and an awesome way to end lunch. I would 1000000% recommend coming here for a quick bite or even a big meal .

BYO Calzones are the way to go here, for selection and price point. They were good on this visit. Salad was decent, as well. I do prefer their location on NW Blvd, where your meal is not being made by Gonzaga kids (it's been hit or miss over the years here). Where my disappointment falls is squarely on their decor. The decision to gut a beautiful, divey ol' joint that had a ton of character, and turn it into another sterile, boring college campus yawn-fest has me bidding them a sad farewell. Granted, this redo may have happened years ago, but it has been awhile since our last visit. Change for the sake of change is not always a good thing...

Pete's was the first place I ordered during quarantine .. it was a long time back, just when the quarantine started, and forgot to write :D Got 2 calzones .. a roasted garlic chicken and veggie gourmet. The chicken one was really nice .. to be honest .. a full calzone is too much of a meal .. I mean very decent size. The veggie one could have done with a bit more oomph .. like may be some seasoning or the pesto with a bit more punch .. it was still nice. And they make it fresh so give some time for your order to be ready .. it's all good :)

This is the first time I've ever had a calzone! My kids said I'm spoiled now cuz this will be the best one I've ever had. So I'm not sure if other calzones have braids and are round like pot pies. I had a pepperoni, sausage and olive lite. Which is a smaller size. I couldn't finish it, I got so full so I can't imagine how big the full size would be. It was yummy. We were the only ones in there cuz it was Sunday at 3:00. We were walking through Gonzaga university and needed a late lunch. It takes 20 minutes for them to make and bake but we didn't mind the wait. Would recommend eating here if you are in the area.

Matthew was very helpful and kind when I called in a pizza order to be picked up. They don't offer…read moredelivery but Matthew gave me some third party options; ie Grub hub and another outfit that was a local company. The large pizza was exactly that! LARGE! And delish! Both the house and Greek salads we also ordered were very good. I would definitely go back.

My family and I visited Geno's Pizza excited to try a new pizza place, expecting to enjoy a nice…read moremeal together. Unfortunately, what we experienced was incredibly frustrating, unprofessional, and deeply upsetting family night out. When we arrived, there was a line dancing class getting ready to start. We were seated and ordered two pizzas, cheesy bread, and a side of red sauce. We also informed our waitress that we planned to place a to-go order once our food arrived. We waited about 40 minutes without receiving our food. During that time, we watched people arrive and participate in the line dancing class. Eventually, another waitress approached us and offered to take our order. At that point I became concerned that our order had not even been started. She refilled our water and told us she was already clocked out. We waited another 20 minutes. We still had no food, and we couldn't smell or see any indication that our order was being prepared. We tried to get the attention of the waitress who had refilled our water, but she was enjoying her evening, drinking wine with a friend. We had no idea who was responsible for helping us or how to cancel our order, so we made the decision to leave. As we were walking to our car, the off-the-clock waitress came outside and threatened to call the police if we did not pay for our order. She claimed we had only been there for 20 minutes and had left before the kitchen could prepare our food. This was completely inconsistent with our experience of waiting approximately an hour. I sent my family to the car and returned inside to explain what had happened. The waitress stated that the restaurant had cameras so I asked her to review the footage to verify how long we had been there. I also requested to speak with a manager only to be told that the manager was not there. She initially apologized and offered to give us our food for free. However, after speaking with the cook and realizing our order included more than one pizza, she changed the offer to 50% off and assured me the pizzas were fresh. I paid for the order accepted her apology but when she placed the order in my hands I realized that the food was cold. When we got home we discovered that at least one slice of the pepperoni pizza was missing. What makes this experience especially upsetting is that we are an interracial family and being confronted and threatened with police involvement over a situation that could have been handled through basic communication and customer service was disturbing to say the least. I cannot speak to the waitress's intentions but the way we were treated left us feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and deeply uncomfortable. We understand that mistakes and delays can happen at any restaurant but what matters is how a business communicates with its customers and resolves problems. We were patient, we communicated our intentions, and we tried to handle the situation reasonably. Instead, we experienced poor communication, an unnecessary confrontation, questionable food quality, and a missing slice of pizza after paying for our order. This was not just about waiting for pizza. It is about how my family and I were treated when things went wrong. We went in hungry and excited to support a new restaurant and left feeling angry, disappointed, and disrespected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Geno's Pizza, and we will not be returning. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses both the customer service issues and the way this situation was handled.
