They come once a quarter and will spray the perimeter of your house for 5 minutes and call it a day. After I complained that there are wasps and roaches still crawling around the exterior and eventually getting into the house, they sent the technician out again to do the same thing. They also said they can not really control pests outside the house (then what is the point of just spraying out there each time and charging me for it?). I understand if this is a one time service but if I'm paying for your services every few months then I expect not to have a pest problem on my exterior walls. Sorry I don't have pictures of the roaches because they come out at night. Finally, I went away for a little over 3 months for work and got an email telling me I needed to pay for the last visit that had occurred while I was away or it would be turned over to collections. I had already told them that I do not need this service if they can not take care of the wasps because obviously I will not have this problem over the winter months. All my previous visits were paid for except the last one because I was not home to receive the bill. $80 is not a big deal for me and I have already paid it, but to send an email like that during a pandemic where many people will struggle to make ends meet shows you the character of this company. I emailed directly to the owner himself, Brian, and told him regardless of whether service was rendered or not, I am not a satisfied customer and I have made that very clear. If he wants to charge a customer for services that they are not happy with then that is his decision. After a few back and forth responses, he declined to take any ownership of the issue and so I paid. Needless to say I will not be using them again.

He told us that we should wait until the spring to do ant control, as they were about to go dormant, and he told us for our house we should not use his services for termites. We have a lot of bricks at the back of our home and he said drilling through them, since they were on concrete already, would ruin the blocks and not get the Termite treatment close enough to protect our home on that side. His exact words were that the day he has to lie to someone in order to get business is the day he should close up shop. We valued his honesty so much that we would have him do our termite treatment at our other house once the contract expires in June of next year. A plus service, A plus person. They do not send experienced people to work jobs linked to Yelp. They send newer people to do the work. This would be okay if that meant more experienced people come out for more complicated jobs. However, they just call in and then tell you they can't do it. Additionally, they respond to inquiries for jobs they have told you they can't do.

He said (realistically) that it would be $175 whether they got the animal or not because sometimes they simply cannot get to where the animal is. He came out, took a look. He said that he probably couldn't get to where that particular animal was under the house, the smell would continue to improve dramatically, and he wouldn't charge me for not doing anything. 5 stars for being knowledgable & realistic. I wanted a so called good company to do the job as I got screwed by a fly by night guy on a different job. So they come out June 20 2020. On June 22, 2020 it started to rain at 2pm. I heard this odd sound so I look outside and there's water gushing down from our covered patio roof top. Water is pouring onto our outdoor items under our covered patio. Our TV, Our outdoor refrigerator, my sons Hand made wooden Army Cooler. Side chairs and cushions and the electrical panel to the hot tub are just getting doused with gushing water coming off our roof that never leaked before. I ran and unplugged all the electrical and shut down the hot tub. I got Tash bags and covered everything. I took pictures and video and called Rid A Critter in Athens. A girl answered the phone and wouldn't give her name. I explained what was going on she said she can't help me. I called the technician because his number was still in my phone from the appointment confirmation. His voice mail says Rid A Critter but voicemail is full. Gee I wonder why. I call the Atlanta and Columbus office numbers and the girls take my information and say a supervisor will call me. I asked for a supervisor I'm told they will call. I ask for a name I'm told oh we have several. Oh not sure who will be available to call do we don't know their name. I asked for an address to send a letter they do not give out addresses. Ahh ha. That is why they have an A rating with the BBB because I can not file a BBB complaint without a business address. So no address no BBB complaints. But see I taped the phone conversations. It's after 6 now and I called several offices at 2pm. No one called me back. So I looked up a few lawyers and left a few messages. Two called me back and I am meeting with them tomorrow morning. I also contacted a roofing company to come out ASAP tomorrow and try and correct the problem that Rid A Critter caused. And I will be calling A different pest control company to come out and check the traps installed as for I do not trust Rid A critter any longer to do the proper job. So... DO NOT TAKING SE RID S CRITTER not any other company that does not post an address either on their paperwork or on their website or in their google information. As Rid A critter is not what they claim. I can't imagine how many other people have issues that can't get them resolved because they refuse to speak with the paid customer. Refuse to give a name and address to the company. So. I stopped my payment. Am hiring a lawyer immediately and now any and all contact will only be through my lawyer. So remember DO NOT HIRE RID A CRITTER FIR ANYTHING. THEY ARE CHEATS.
